No need to worry about your health. It does nt effect your body. But frequent masturbation will effect your genital area to become weak. So try to avoid daily masturbation.

I do masturbation Daily 1or 2 Times is it harmful and damage our sexual abilities.

General Physician, Nashik
Masturbation is regarded as a normal, healthy sexual activity. In general, the medical community considers masturbation to be a natural and harmless expression of sexuality for both men and women. It does not cause any physical injury or harm to the body, and can be performed in moderation throughout a person's lifetime as a part of normal sexual behavior. It will not affect you or your ability to have children in the future. If you wish to reduce the frequency of masturbation: It originates from brain, due to thinking about sex. Hence: ·     Do not watch adult material. ·     Concentrate more on your studies or work. ·     Exercise regularly.

Hello. Me and my gf wants to have sex bt her vagina is so tight as she is still virgin so I'm not able to put my penis inside her pussy so give Me some advice how to make her hole loose and we can enjoy. Thanks

PGD IN ULTRAASONOGRAPHY, Non invasive cardiology course, MD - Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Narnaul
Vagina too tight The vagina itself is never too small to accommodate a penis – remember that its walls are stretchy enough to allow a full-sized baby to pass along it. But it can seem too small for sex if the muscles at its entrance go into a spasm when your partner tries to insert his penis. This is a fairly rare condition called vaginismus. Some women with vaginismus can insert a tampon without any problem, but others find that trying to insert anything – a tampon, a finger or a penis – makes the muscles contract. Women with vaginismus often avoid having cervical smears, because they think it will be painful or impossible. Very occasionally, the penis cannot be inserted because the hymen (which is the membrane at the entrance to the vagina) is unusually tough, but this is very rare indeed. How the woman feels. Vaginismus is a very distressing condition. It is very painful if your partner attempts to push his way in, and you may feel wary that he may do this. You may also have feelings of anger, guilt and inadequacy, and fear that your partner may leave you. Some women withdraw from all physical contact – even holding hands – in case it leads to sex. How the partner feels. Partners are usually confused and worried. Your partner will hate the idea of causing you any pain. He may think that his sexual technique is at fault. What causes vaginismus? It is really a deep-rooted phobia of penetration, and perhaps of pregnancy or childbirth. The reason is different for each woman: it can result from some unresolved sexual conflict, from sexual abuse or from a belief that sexual activity is undesirable. You may have had a painful vaginal condition that has left you with a conditioned fear of sex. Vaginismus should not be confused with frigidity; women with vaginismus are often sexually responsive, but can not tolerate penetration. Treatment. Vaginismus can be helped. Relate, the counselling organization, reports that of 3693 women seen over a 2-year period, 80% improved with therapy. Psychosexual counselling. The therapy is not at all frightening. You will be taught how to relax your vaginal muscles and eventually to insert a small tampon. In due course you will learn to insert larger tampons. If you have a partner, the therapist will start by telling you not to attempt sex. Instead, you will be encouraged to resume non-genital physical contact in very small steps, such as holding hands, sitting close together or putting an arm round each other. Quite late in the programme, you and your partner will be shown how you can insert his penis yourself, as if it were a tampon; he lies on his back and is not allowed to move at this stage. Only at the very end of the therapy programme will you be encouraged to have proper sex.

Huntington's Disease - Understanding the Stages of Symptoms!

Huntington's Disease - Understanding the Stages of Symptoms!

Do you know that Huntington’s disease is an inherited disease? This condition leads to the progressive degeneration of the nerve cells present in your brain. Huntington's disease has severe impact on several functional abilities of an affected person and results in psychiatric, thinking and movement disorders.

Huntington’s disease occurs from an inherited defect present in a single gene. It is a form of autosomal dominant disorder, which indicates that a person requires just one copy of the defective gene for developing the disorder. Except the genes on the chromosomes, two copies of every gene are inherited by a person. The affected parent may pass along the defective gene copy or the healthy copy.

Commonly, the symptoms of Huntington’s disease start appearing during midlife. It may also affect a person during childhood. The symptoms of this disease vary from person to person. Abnormal movement and weight loss are common symptoms, which occur in all stages.

Early stage

The usual early stage symptoms include the following:

  1. Slight coordination changes, which affect balance and make you clumsy

  2. Uncontrollable fidgety movement

  3. Stiffness and slowing

  4. Irritability and depression

  5. Problems with thinking in difficult situations

Middle stage
With passing time, the symptoms start interfering more with the patient’s daily life and activities. You may start dropping things, face trouble with swallowing, and talking. Staying organized may get tough. Certain emotional changes are indicated.

Later stage
In the later stage of Huntington’s disease, a patient becomes dependent on others for taking care of them. A patient cannot walk or speak, and fidgety movements are likely to become more severe or may subside.

Huntington’s disease has no fixed cure. Several measures are followed for managing the symptoms. They are as follows:

  1. Medications are used to manage fidgety movements. Other medicines are also used for controlling any other side effect experienced.

  2. Speech or language therapy may be beneficial in case of speech and swallowing problems.

  3. Physical therapy may help you in improving your control movements. Assistive devices like handrails can be used for managing your changing physical abilities.

  4. Nutritional support is used in which special utensils are used to focus on a nutrient-rich diet.

  5. Exercise is also important for patients with Huntington’s disease as it enables them to stay active and fit.

In case you experience any symptom of Huntington’s disease, it is important for you to consult a doctor immediately. This is a severe disease and early diagnosis and treatment will prevent the condition from worsening.

I am 23 years male and my ears are producing too much wax. I don't know how to clean it properly. My questions are 1. Can I clean it daily? 2. Using ear buds to clean is recommendable or not? 3. How to clean ears routinely and properly?

MBBS, Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO), DNB (ENT)
Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Specialist, Delhi
Hello lybrate-user wax production in ear is a normal phenomenon and ear has physiological mechanisms by which the wax comes out automatically. However in some ears whose canal are narrow or the wax produced is excessive, it accumulates and causes impaction and hearing loss, pain and other symptoms. In such cases one must consult an otolaryngologist (ent specialist) who can remove the wax using a probe or endoscope as an office procedure. Self instrumentation with any ear bud is not recommended for the following reasons. 1. When you use an ear bud you are pushing the wax further inside. When an ent specialist removes wax using a probe he puts the probe behind the wax and pulls it outside. 2. You cannot see how deep you are poking with the ear bud, one of the commonest complications of self instrumentation is ear drum rupture or perforation. Perforated ear drums have a separate line of management. However you may use a wax desolving ear drops every few weeks after discussing with your doctor to make the formed wax more soluble and it can come off easier. Hope to find you in good health soon.

Reason for frequent leg swelling and pain for a sugar patient. What necessary steps must be taken to avoid pain and swelling?

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS
Orthopedist, Delhi
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Diabetes can lead to multiple symptoms but your mother's symptoms of pain and swelling may not be linked to diabetes. There are many causes of swelling in the legs. Most common reason is postural and many patients develop it when they stand for a long time, but as soon as they elevate their leg up, the swelling subsides. We also have to look at medical causes as well, chronic cardiac conditions can lead to swelling, any pathology which leads to low proteins in the body like deranged lft, kft etc can also lead to swelling. Hypothyroidism can also lead to generalized swelling like appearance in the body. So for accurate diagnosis we need to clinically evaluate and get appropriate tests: cbc, esr, crp, lft, kft, serum electrolytes and thyroid profile. Please get back to me should you need more information or with test results. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

How I should take viagra? I should take it directly or should crush it & mix it in milk? How much time before having sex I should take viagra?

General Physician, Hyderabad
Any time, better to take 1 hour before you want to have sex. Directly you can take it with water. Works for 24- 36 hours, it is always better in old people than a young chap like you.
