My skin is very dull there is no shine on my face I want a shine and glowing face what can I do.
Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

You may be having viral infection or viral fever do warm saline gargle regularly have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. In the mean time you can have a tablet paracetamol or calpol.

I will turn 20 years after some days but my height is still 5'5" I want to increase my height so I want to know that is proteins good for health because I'm vegetarian.

For increasing your height I will suggest you to do skipping daily as per your capacity for next six months and follow up with finding.

Hello dear Lybrate user, Hair spa can lead to hairfall as it can damage the hair shaft. Avoid such procedures on hair. For dandruff use KERAGLO-AD SHAMPOO three times a week followed by a conditioner.

Radiant, supple and youthful looking skin is everyone’s dream. However, due to pollution and incorrect nutrition habits, your skin tends to show signs of aging before it is supposed to. 

To reverse the signs, you can avail certain daily habits, which will make your skin look radiant and keep it young for a long time:

  1. Hydrate inside out: It is crucial to drink water as it cleanses your skin from within and flushes out toxins, making it look radiant. Along with drinking enough water, you also need to use hydrating lotion and serums which moisturize and protect your skin from infections and bacteria.
  2. Increase your intake of Vitamin C: Many studies have proven that including more amount of vitamin C in your diet will help you keep your skin younger for long and keep aging signs such as fine lines and wrinkles at bay. Include more vitamin C rich food in your meals, such as citrus fruits, sprouts and bell peppers because they are crucial for the formation of collagen (building blocks of the skin) in your skin.
  3. Eat sorbitol rich fruits: A particular humectant (a substance that is used to retain moisture) called ‘sorbitol’ is responsible for adding sweetness to grapes, berries and plums. Including sorbitol rich fruits in your diet is a great solution as the humectant helps in absorbing and retaining moisture in your skin. The moisture content in your skin helps in keeping it radiant and youthful.
  4. Exfoliation is a must: Along with the basic skincare routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing, you should also be exfoliating your skin. Exfoliation means removing a layer of dead skin and impurities by mild scrubbing. You can use a loofah or a pumice stone to exfoliate and get rid of the dead skin. Doing it once a week will ensure clean and clear skin which is free of impurities.
  5. Cut down on your dairy intake: Dairy products, including the organic ones, contain cow hormones, which stimulate the oil glands and pores in your skin; which is the main cause of acne and pimples. By cutting out dairy products, you can get an oil free, radiant skin. If you still feel the need to include dairy in your diet, opt for skimmed milk over full fat. 5 Tips To Handle Separation Anxiety In Toddlers!

At some point of time, an infant will separate from the mother or father for a while. The infant may scream, cry and/or show resistance to getting separated. This is an absolutely normal response by the infant as he/she is taken away from his/her caregiver. Children experience this separation anxiety at different ages, mostly between 8 months to 2 and a half years of age. Though separation anxiety is a part of the child's development, it is distressing for the parents to see their child upset. At times, parents feel more upset than the children. Children can sense parent's disturbance may feel more anxious. Hence, knowing what is causing the child's anxiety, would help in reducing the baby's disturbance as well the parents.

Separation anxiety can be short-lived or last for a very long time if not addressed appropriately. If parents give in to their child's anxiety, children learn that crying or screaming is a way of stopping the parent from leaving.

The child will learn to feel protected comforted that the parents always return home when they leave. The child also learns to be independent  cope in a healthy manner.

Here are several ways that can help relieve your child's separation anxiety:

1. Keep the timing in mind

Avoid sending your child to daycare centres or leaving the child with a new person that child isn't completely familiar with. Plan going out when the child's needs are met, especially during the child's nap time or post meal time.

2. Step by step

When you have to introduce some new person or a new place that the child has to get used to in your absence, take it slow. Invite the person at home  interact with him/her in front of the child. Involve the child gradually in the play. Then you can go down to do your household shopping leaving the child alone with the person. If the child is starting with school or daycare centre, take the child for a visit  spend time by playing with him/her. Child will get familiar with the place the people there when you would not be around.

3. Ritual

Develop a ritual that you always use when you say goodbye. For instance" see ya later, alligator, or a short song or some action. Remind your child you are going to come back. However, stay calm as your calmness would be reassuring for your child. If you appear guilty or sad or anxious, your child is likely to feel even more tense about parting from you, since you seem unsure about whether you're doing the right thing to leave her.

4. Don't sneak away

Make sure you say goodbye to your child, rather than sneak away. It is important that your child sees you leave and also sees you come back.

5. Keep your promise

If you have told your child that you would be back before lunch time, make sure you make it. Your child will feel certain in the future, that when you leave, you will eventually come back.

6. Souvenir

You can let your child take a toy, or any other comforting object along with him/her to school to feel safe in the new environment.

Always make sure you leave your child with a sitter or caretaker you trust. If it makes you feel better, have the sitter or caretaker call you when the child has calmed down. This will give you some idea of how long your child's separation anxiety last.

The caretaker can distract the child with an interesting toy or play a game or sing a song when you are about to leave the child alone. The caretaker should avoid talking about the child's parents. If the child asks about her mother, the caretaker can answer, and soon distract the child.

Remember, separation anxiety is a way for your child to learn to be independent and that this is a normal process of growing up.

Communication plays one of the most important roles in any sexual relationship.

For most men who begin to detect the signs of erectile dysfunction, it can be a big challenge to admit it to their partner about the problem.

But always remember that your problem is also affecting your partner. And a clear discussion may be the first step to the diagnosis and treatment of your problem.

Try and get past the initial hesitation and talk it out to your partner. Feeling embarrassed about discussing your problem of erectile dysfunction can make your relationship even worse.

While it is not easy to communicate with your partner about your erection problems, it is imperative that you do so.

Here are a few tips for getting the conversation started.

1. Don't hesitate

Sometimes the most difficult part is just starting the conversation on this subject. Yet you need to explain the issue in plain simple words.

Potato is rich in Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, manganese, phosphorus, copper and niacin which can be helpful for boosting hair growth. Crush some cleaned potato and squeeze out the juice. Now apply this fresh juice directly onto your scalp and hairs. Leave on for 30 minutes to an hour but do not let the pack get dry. Wash off with plenty of water.

Hi, I am drinking approx 3 litres of water daily and in day time getting frequent urination after drinking water. Also I observed that when I pee I seen bubbles or cloudy on flush. Cloudy urine may indicate the presence of mucus, pus, or blood. Alternatively it can be due to sediment that forms when some of the constituents of urine, such as phosphates or urates, form tiny crystals. It can be some uti or even semen loss with the urine. Hi, according to your height your weight is low. Your ideal body weight is around 72 to 74 kg. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Do regular exercise. Include protein rich food in your diet. No drink before meals. If you are non vegetarian include eggs chicken and fish in your diet. Take small and frequent meals.
