Bronchial Asthma is inflammation or congestion of airway and has usually a family history some triggers like home dust, mites, pollen food products containing sulphite as preservative, sudden change in weather etc. or defect in nose. You have to identify the cause and take necessary precautions. To control the attacks which come in episodes there are tablets, meter dose inhalers or rotahalers You should consult a Physician or a Pulmonologist for advice. Which you may have to follow. Spontaneous cure is possible. Otherwise you should learn to keep it under control to prevent further complications

My brother-in-law (age 32) was diagnosed with diabetes-2 recently (HbA1C-10 and RBS 500 at the time of diagnosis. Doctor immediately gave insulin and kept him on metformin 850 mg (BDPC) and sitagliptin 100 mg ODPC. He has changed his diet (taking cereals and millets instead of white rice. Now his sugar levels are in control and the doctor advised to continue the dosage for 3 months. Then after the tests he will adjust the dosage accordingly. Since he is taking proper diet, my sister is worried with side effects of medicine and high dosages. Is this dosage too high and dangerous?

Most of the patients whose HB1c is more than 10% with blood sugar in range of 500 mg I always initiate with insulin therapy and continue insulin for 3 months till Hb1c is less than 7% and continue control of sugars with the help of suitable oral tablets. Only in some group of patients where there is chronic infections, hormonal imbalance - kidney or liver malfunction than some times it is safer and better to continue insulin injections for long term .As the awareness regarding proper diet and regular exercise increases and patient tries to incorporate in his daily routine may result in to gradual reduction of insulin and tablet dosages over time.

Size doesn't matters if functioning properly. The average size of penis is 5.54 inches (14.07 cm) length and 3.11 inches (7.9 cm) girth are enough to perform a successful sexual intercourse.

I am suffering from cough fir least 1 month. Nd I use some Ayurvedic medicine but but no any profit. So wht kind of medicine I use for it.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello. As you are suffering from cough since 1 month, get your blood tested (empty stomach) for – CBC, ESR, AEC, Sputum examination, Urine (R & M) and Stool examination (R & M) done. (In case required, may advise you some other tests later). Revert me with the reports for proper treatment. Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Alpha-Coff and Glyzyrrhiza Glabra 1x - both thrice a day daily for 4 days. Management: - Avoid cold drinks and fried food, take healthy food. -Avoid exposure to Air-conditioner or cold air (wrap a warm stole or muffler around neck). -Avoid excessive or rough use of your voice/ shouting. -Gargle with warm water and salt 3 times a day and take steam-inhalation once before going to bed. Home Remedies for Cough: -Stir some into some hot tea for comforting cough relief. You can also eat a spoonful of honey before bed to help calm coughs. -Warm saltwater gargles help moisturize your throat, which can quiet coughs. -Drink peppermint tea to help relieve coughs. -Brew a eucalyptus tea by steeping a few fresh or dried eucalyptus leaves in hot water for 15 minutes. Drink this tea up to 3 times a day to help soothe a sore throat and calm coughs. -Make a hot ginger tea to help soothe a chronic cough. -Turmeric is a traditional cough remedy that many people have found effective for coughs. Try mixing half a teaspoon of turmeric powder in a glass of warm milk. You can also try turmeric powder and a teaspoon of honey for dry cough.
