Yes, eating more than 2 eggs with yoke increase the risk of high cholesterol as yoke has cholesterol. Those who do heavy weight training exercises, can have 2 -4 egg whites (remove the yoke) as egg whites are rich in protein and helps in building muscles.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user kumar WEIGHT LOSS DIET Things to be followed 1.No salt intake after 7: 30 am 2.No aerated drinks. Even Liquor too. 3.Restrict mango and banana. 4.Restrict potato and rice. 5.No artificial juices. 6.Half an hour aerobic exercise daily. Joining a gym for workout will be a better option. 7.20 mins of breathing exercise (pranayam). 8.Avoid Rajmah, Channa, Peas, Mushroom, Gobi, Pumpkin, Leafy vegetables, Capsicum, Paneer, Cheese, Curd, Non Veg, Maida related items (like Bread, bun, pizza, burger etc), Deep fried and spicy food, Sweets, Sugar, carbohydrate rich fruits like apple, Sapota, Banana etc. 9.Avoid rice intake in the morning and strictly in the night. 10.Avoid intake of refrigerated food in the morning, prepared previous night. 11.Intake of food should be on time without skipping even a single meal. 12.Maintain min two hours of gap between dinner intake and sleep. 13.Consume minimum eight glasses of water a day. 14.“Early to bed and early to raise” should be strictly followed. Sleeping Late night should be strictly avoided. 15.Have fruits only in the noon time. Avoid fruits consumption in the night (occasionally can be taken before dinner). 16.Stop intake of milk during bed time. 17.Bathing should be before food intake only. 18.Tea, milk intake should be twice a day preferably morning and evening. Coffee intake should be strictly avoided. DIET PLAN FOR Week 1 6: 30 am (as soon as you wake up) – 2 glasses of methi seeds water (soak 1tsp of methi seeds in 2 glasses of water. Strain out the methi seeds and drink the water. Helps a lot in water retention and bloating) 7: 30 am – ginger tea/ green tea. 9: 00 am – One bowl Papaya or 200 ml Mongdal gruel with little jaggery. 11: 30 am – four cucumber slices/raw raddish 1: 30 pm – A small plate of salad before starting the meal. The fibers in the salad fills you up which in turn prevents false hunger that makes you overeat. 1dry chapati with 1 bowl of dal, with one bowl rice, rasam, 1 glass buttermilk. 5: 00 pm – 1cup of milk or tea with 2 biscuits (just marie, no other biscuits) 8: 30 pm –A small plate of salad before starting the meal. 2 or 3 dry chapati with vegetable curry or dal. When this week ends, you can see reduction in weight up to 1.8 kilos. U lose the max in this week because you lose all the water weight and the bloating as well. The further weeks you are surely going to lose weight but it won’t be this much. Week 2 6: 30 am (as soon as you wake up) – 2 glasses of tulsi leave water (soak 5 tulsi leaves in 2 glasses of water. Strain out the leaves and drink the water.) 7: 30 am – ginger tea/ green tea. 9: 00 am – 1 bowl of veg salad or Semi liquid gruel (lightly salted and flavored with pepper, Jeera, Ginger, Garlic, coriander, pudina) prepared out of broken barley. 11: 30 am – Small bowl papaya without peeling skin. 1: 30 pm – A small plate of salad before starting the meal. 1dry chappati with 1 bowl of dal, with one bowl rice, rasam, 1 glass buttermilk. Or Only 3 dry Chappatis with veg curry and 1 glass buttermilk. 5: 00 pm – 1cup of Coffee/milk/ tea with 2 marie biscuits only. 8: 30 pm –A small plate of salad before starting the meal. 2 or 3 dry chappati with vegetable curry or dal, 1 cup ginger flavored buttermilk. This week you can lose up to 0.9 kgs Week 3 6: 30 am – 10 ml of Karela, amla juice with 1 glass of luke warm water. 7: 30 am – ginger tea/ green tea. 9: 00 am – salted and flavoured Green gram gruel or Rava gruel semi liquid consistency 200 ml. 11: 30 am – four cucumber slices. 1: 30 pm –one bowl allowed veg or fruit salad, 2 chappati and vegetable dal. 5: 00 pm – 1cup of milk/ ginger tea, green tea or 1bowl popcorn (air popped popcorns without the butter) 8: 30 pm –1 bowl broken wheat with rasam or dal, 1 cup buttermilk. Week 4 6: 30 am – Triphala ras 10 ml with 1 glass warm water. 7: 30 am – ginger tea/ green tea. 9: 00 am – 1 glass Broken wheat gruel 11: 30 am – one bowl veg salad. 1: 30 pm – 1 bowl broken wheat with rasam, 1 cup buttermilk. 5: 00 pm – 1cup of milk/ ginger tea/ green tea 8: 30 pm – 2 dry chappati with 1 bowl vegetable or Dalia kichdi, and 1 cup buttermilk. By the end of the month you will definitely be losing 2-4 kgs Repeat the same diet for 4 months.

i would recommend you to follow the following home remedy Natural home remedy using mango, cumin seeds, salt, sugar and mint leaves: 1. Take 6 raw mangoes 2. Boil them in 1 L water for 15 min 3. Peel and de-seed them 3. Separate the mango pulp 4. Mix the pulp in 250 ml water 5. Add 1 tsp cumin seed powder 6. Add 1 tsp salt 7. Add 2 tbsp sugar 8. Add 2 tsp crushed mint leaves 8. Mix well 9. Store this in the refrigerator 10. Have this cold drink 2 times a day Surely you will get results.

For a sigle day maimum to minimum pressure can be in variance to what extent. Say morning after getting up 110/65 and during full day work it goes to 140/90 and normal working 130/85. Is this kind of variance is ok?

Hi, Take Rauvolfia 1x, 2 tabs daily morning empty stomach. Drink plenty of liquids and cut down your fat, salt and sugar intake. go for a morning walk daily at least for 30 minutes. Take a sound sleep and try to avoid anger. Revert after 15 days with feedback.

Dear Roy Anxiety can cause such symptoms. You need to relax,. Take up joggine lowly for 30 mins daily. Make sure you bath before sleeping at night. I visited a cardiologist when my wife had little pain in the upper left side of her body. He advised ecg, and after I showed him the report, he told that it was an initial stage of blocking in one of her valves. He prescribed some medicines for 15 days. Now my wife is alright, having no pain. The doctor told that she didn't need further medicines and prescribed two medicines for her blood pressure and advised non-oily and non-fatty food to her. My wife is 40 years old. Her height is 5f 4i and weight is around 65 kg. I want to know whether the blockage in the valve could be treated through medicines at initial stage? does she need further check-up?

Hello, I am 47 years old, 74 kg weight and low blood sugar. Please advise on type of exercise required for doing on daily basis and duration of the exercise.

Walk for 40 to 60 m. daily. (4 to 6 hours weekly). You can do weight exercises also if heart is alright. Don't sit idle for more than an hour. Keep on moving always.
