Dear M Vasanth, Good Evening! The symptoms you have mentioned briefly are suggestive of compression of nerve at lower back possibly due to lumbar disc pathology. Kindly visit Physiotherapist to get further clarity of problem and if the need be, you may need to have MRI scan as part of investigations. You can also visit Orthopedic / Neuro-surgeon for an opinion if the pain is quite intolerable or not improving with course of physiotherapy. At any time, if you experience problems with bladder & bowel (urinary retention, loss of control, numbness in groin / anal region - you must attend Emergency department of any hospital. Unfortunately there is no permanent cure for RA as of now. It is a systemic disease and impossible to replace all the culprit cells at cellular level. The only treatment is symptomatic treatment that is to reduce and manage the symptoms. The latest more effective treatments have come up with cold laser therapy aka LLLT with world wide researchers and studies claiming the immediate effects of reduced pain tissue repair etc. You should go for it. No side effects were reported and its approved by FDA.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. Rest. Take a break from your normal activities. Ice. Place an ice pack or bag of frozen peas on the sore area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day. Compression. Use a compression bandage to reduce swelling. Elevation. Elevate your foot to help reduce swelling.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.
