What is the remedy?
Your condition should be checked clinically actually as what type yellowishness you are talking about .It may be because of stains, smoking or may be your gums must have recessed .Treatment can be planned only after clinical check up.

To lessen the degree of pain or soreness in the mouth during the orthodontic treatment, you can gargle with 8 ounces of lukewarm water with one teaspoonful of salt dissolved in it. Swish it around your mouth and then spit it out. It will dull the pain and provide relief.

Hi, there are various reasons of bad breath, like impurities in blood, inefficient digestive system, dry mouth (lack of saliva production), gum disease, cavities, plaque and tartar formation around teeth and gums, kind of diet, improper brushing / cleaning of mouth etc. I would advise you to get a thorough physical and dental examination to rule out the cause of bad breath and to solve it permanently. Regards

Poor oral hygiene, gum or periodontal infections, dry mouth, smoking and tobacco use are some of the contributing factors for bad breath medically known as Halitosis. You can try following: 1.) Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, use tongue cleaner, change brush in 3 months. 2.) Use dental floss regularly. 3.) Keep the mouth moist. You can regularly drink water or keep non sugar edible items in mouth to keep the saliva flowing. 4.) Avoid smoking and tobacco. 5.) Use Listerine mouthwash twice daily. 6.) Avoid food causing bad smell.

Hello, you can go for Orthodontic treatment (braces). It is the most safe and conservative procedure. It will cost you around Rs 18,000-40,000/- depending upon the case. The time taken will be 6 months to 1 year. There are no side effects. You can also go for veneers and crowns.

Hi lybrate-user. Brushing teeth will never help. It is good to maintain already healthy teeth. But for your condition you will need to consult a dentist and will need scaling.

Gingivitis (Gum DIsease)

BDS
Dentist, Jodhpur
Gingivitis (Gum DIsease)
Gingivitis is an early gum disease. It affects the surface layers of the gum, particularly where the gum meets the tooth. At this stage, there is no damage to the deeper parts of the gums, teeth or bone.

The signs of gingivitis are:
1. Bleeding gums, especially when brushing or eating
2. Redness and swelling of the gum.

The good news is that gingivitis can be reversed.
You might think it is best to stop brushing if your gums are red or puffy. Try to keep brushing, as this will get rid of the bacteria and plaque that is causing the problem. Soon the gums should look and feel better. If not, see your dentist for proper treatment.

I had a very good set of teeth earlier. But for few years I am smoking and chewing pan masala. Now it develop stains. I feel frustrated now a day because of this. What should I do to clean my teeth. Should I get them washed..

If your concern is only stains then scaling and polishing will help. But if you want your teeth to whiter thn you may need whitening as well.
