lybrate-user, Madam when placent is at the lower end of the uterus, it obstructs the birth passage. Hence, natural or unassisted delivery is most unlikely to happen. Plus is dangerous to the fetus. Because the birth canal is blocked by placenta, only way to deliver the baby is by a cesarean section. There is no option. There is no reason to panic, as it has become a simple surgery with hardly any complications. Thanks.

I had a right mild pleural of 40-50, which I already mentioned before, as per your suggestions I had mantoux test and induration is 20 mm and it is positive, I had TB Ferron gold test also which is negative, pain is still there but water is reducing and I don't have cough also, please suggest medicines accordingly.

TB ferron test / mantoux test tells the same thing. Get pleural fluid tested for biochemical and cytological to draw some conclusion for diagnosis.

Sleep Hygiene

MBBS, MD - Psychiatry
Psychiatrist, Bangalore
Sleep Hygiene

Tips for a well deserved good night's Sleep.

• Sleep and wake up at the same time everyday, eg- if you set your time to sleep at 9 pm and wake up at 7 am , and even if that night you don’t fall asleep at nine and end up sleeping late and get 2 or 3 hours of sleep it is ok just wake up at 7

• Don’t change the time . No snoozing.

• Never sleep during day time.

• Keep your room dark

• Use eye mask , it is said that it helps in the rapid eye movement phase and helps you sleep better. The eye mask should fit you well but not cause pressure on eye . not too tight. You can find it in any store , airports and online.

• Keep your room clutter free

• Use you need only for sleep and sex .meaning no working and studying on it.

• Do not use any electronic gadgets 2 to 3 hrs before sleep eg- your phone , laptop, electronic reading equipment , TV etc. They cause a major problem in onset of sleep .

• Do not exercise, just before sleeping , it will activate your body. Better to finish gym etc 3 to 4 hrs before sleep or even best better done in the morning.

• Do not have any caffeinated beverage post 4 pm. Avoid energy drinks

• If you read before sleeping stick to old fashion of reading a book.

• Do not being up disturbing topics for discussion during bed time . Better done during day .

• Have a warm glass of milk of banana ( avoid if you are diabetic ) before bedtime .

• Do not at any cost take alcohol or other drug paraphernalia for sleep.

This process has to be followed for a couple of weeks without interruption. And when it Becomes a part of your routine, your sleep cycle will be set right.

If all this does not help then please seek help of a psychiatrist

Dear lybrate-user all your symptoms are due to overuse of computer. This is called computer vision syndrome (cvs). You need to restrict yoyears computer use like taking break in between. Use antglare computer glasses. Your posture should be correct and your work ststion table n chair should be ergonomically designed. You sd also use refresh tear eye drops as rate of blinking is reduced leading to dry eye symptoms when you are working for long hrs on computer. Hope this answers your question.

Do not mind the mind. Let your random thoughts come and go. Do not wrestle with them, if you do, you are only increasing the momentum of thoughts. There are patterns and phases to sleep, some accumulated thought residues{insecurity, fear etc etc] buried deep often come to surface after a while. Let it go out of your system. Relax. This will pass.

This is a withdrawal bleeding you are having bcz of the various pills you took, though very frankly you should not be taking these pills so indiscriminately as they have harmful effect on your fertlity, periods and harmonal balance.

Should I keep my foreskin of penis completely backwards or forward? I gets dry when I keep it backwards. I want to do my foreskin permanently backwards like pornstars have but I can see a small skin connected on the back of the penis. I do not want any surgery.

Hello, Foreskin protects your tip of the penis from external environment. It secretes a wax like substance called Smegma, which is very important for the lubrication of penis is. This why you are feeling dried when you evert it back. Put it into its natural position and do wash the wax twice daily for a healthy routine.

I have married in feb 24 but my wife is not pregnant at this time we are daily doing sex.
Pregnancy depends on many things. 1. Doing sex on right days. 10-16 days from period date are best for conceiving. So do sex for atleast these days. 2. Thyroid problem in women will cause delay in pregnancy. Get check up done for your wife 3. Try these 2 first and still if you do not get benefit then go for sperm test for urself and consult gyanologist for your wife. For further help consult.

Hello I am 20 years old. For few days I am too worry about masturbating. I want to slim and fit for looking attractive.

Hello I am 20 years old. For few days I am too worry about masturbating. I want to slim and fit for looking attractive.
Hello, We need to make few changes in our life to stay fit and healthy (if there is no medical condition): - Just walking alone is a very beneficial exercise which can help you stay in shape, feel more energetic, and get healthy. Always take stairs rather than taking an elevator. -Standing while you work can help your body get more activity than if you were just sitting down. Spend at least some of your work day standing instead of sitting in order to help your blood flow and maintain your muscles. -Do more chores. Lots of household chores actually involve a lot of exercise and being better about doing chores can be a great way for you to fit activity and exercise into your day. -Aim to exercise for a total of 30 minutes per day and you’ll easily be able to maintain your fitness level. -Some exercises will be more efficient than others, and choosing these more efficient exercises means that the small amount of time that you do spend exercising will really count. Try to choose exercises that focus on your core muscles, since your legs and arms can get activity through daily activities like lifting bags of groceries and walking a longer distance from your car. Try squats, planks, burpees. -Get indulge into some activity at home like riding a bicycle, swimming, playing active games with your kids. -Eating right. Cut out unhealthy fats and take in healthy fats. The easiest way to identify unhealthy fats is to look for “solid” fats, or fats that are solid at room temperature. Get plenty of protein. Protein will help you maintain your muscles and also give you the energetic feeling that you may be missing now that you’re getting less exercise. Good protein sources include skinless chicken, turkey, salmon, anchovies, sardines, oysters, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and peas. Eat properly portioned, balanced meals. Generally, about ⅓ of your plate should be fruits and vegetables and ⅓ of your plate should be grains. The final third should be a mix of protein and low-fat dairy (cottage cheese, eggs, non-fat milk, etc). -Drinking enough water also has the added bonus of keeping your hunger level down, helping you to maintain the lower calorie count that you’ll be getting now that you’re not exercising as much.
