Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

I have periods range of 25 to 30 days cycle. I married one year before. We were trying to have a baby in our lives, but unfortunately not happening. So I walked to a gynecologist, she took follicular scan on 13th and 15th days. After that she told me that there are no ovulation changes at all. Does it really mean I am not ovulating, and what will I do in this case. I am really worried a lot about this, I don't know what can I do now. I am not able to control myself with out crying. There is no direct relation between skin and type of water used. The sun, wind everything damages and turns it dull. It can be associated with pernicious anaemia, hypothyroidism, inflammatory bowel disease, nutritional deficiency, diabetes, stress. These have to be evaluated. You need to institute a couple of changes to see a lot of results. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen both indoors as well as before going out. It shud b both uva and uvb protective. Always use your umbrella whether its raining or not. Use a cap or scarf or your dupatta to cover your head. Protect your eyes with a sunshade. Avoid scrubbing your face. Do not steam or sauna. If you swim, use a sunscreen prior to it and after. Don't directly spray perfumes on your body. Spray them on your clothes and wear them. Don't use deodorants or roll ons. Avoid face cosmetics for the time being. You can press powder onto your sunscreen if at all you want to use a cosmetic. Drink two litres of water everyday. Pick up carrots, papaya, pumpkin, black grapes to have everyday. These contain important antioxidants and phytonutrients which vil soften your skin. Do not stress over anything. Pray-itll distract you off your stress. You can use this do it yourself mask at home which vil give you an instant glow. Mix 1 tbsp puree each of papaya and carrot with 1 tbsp of curd and 1 tbsp of aloe vera. Apply it across your face or dull body part for ten to fifteen minutes and wash it off without soap. Sunlight damages skin, it's color and texture. Uv rays enter even through the window. So make sure to use sunscreen everytime both inside and outside. Avoid cosmetics. Use cold water to wash face with a mild cleanser. Remove soap from your armamentarium. Make sure to have plenty of tomatoes and oranges. Vitamin c supplements vil help you. It's very important to b stress free. Don't use scrubs for your face, it'll grow more dark.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

Mr. Lybrate-user I think you have digestion related problem. So you should take easily digestible food, which you may digest properly. Due to indigestion you feal tiredness and weakness. You take food in digestible limit. If you have constipation, remove it to drink lemonated warm water300-500 ml. Early in morning 30 minutes walk before defecations. Avoid non veg. Bakery products and fast food.

I was diagnosed with anal fissure 2 years back and now all of a sudden I am getting pain on right side of anus and buttocks. Once blood was noticed during passing of stool.

The main cause of anal fissure is constipation with passage of hard stools. You need a lot of liquids and fibres in your diet along with stool softeners to prevent it. You need to consult your surgeon and get a digital examination & proctoscopy to exactly identify your problem. Meanwhile you can try sitting in a tub of warm water for 15 min twice a day. Medicine can be prescribed only after examination.

Suffering from pcos and hypothyroidism. I do gyming. And taking homeopathy medicines for pcos and eltroxin 50mcg for thyroid I ws 99kgs now 88kgs I problem is hair loss. When on treatment for hypothyroidism tsh levels should be between 3 to 4 milli units / ml, to be in control and free from symptoms. If you achieved that then all symptoms including hair loss will stop. Of all the symptoms hair loss is the last one to go. Plus I am sure you are following the dosing guidelines of taking thyroxine tablets early morning on empty stomach and nothing to be taken after that for 2 hours. This has to be followed always. Secondly avoid soy beans, soy containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, radish, peanuts, mustard and coffee. Consume more of green leafy vegetables, salds and fruits. Use whole grain flour for chapati and roti, avoid refined flour like maida. Avoid high fat milk products. Your dietary intake has to be based on your ideal body weight (58 kgs). Calories 58 x 25 = 1450. Plus since you want to loose weight, another 500 k cals should be less. So daily intake has to be just about 1000 k cal.

Follow these best tips to lightens and remove the black spots- 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the spots. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will remove the spots definitly. 4. Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 5. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly. 6. Avoid use of any cosmetic products. 7. Avoid continous long hours exposure of sunlight.

What is the connection with this erection problem and suicide? You are simply getting worked up and may develop OCD either for this reason or for reasons originating from some childhood experiences. You must meet with a counselor and discuss your problems. If your orientation has suddenly changed, it may be due to some factors which you need to explore with a counselor. Hello lybrate-user, its common and normal to have ulcer on lips, specially upper lip following the ortho treatment, you must have been prescribed some ointments by your doctor, you need to apply them. If the problem still persists, you can use carding wax on the brackets (hooks in which wire is lodged). I can not prescribe you without looking at swelling and inflammation, for that pls consult in pvt with photographs.

Cook a handful of rice in a half a lit of water in an open pan. When rice is ready don’t throw the residue water drink reason this water when it remains that much hot that you can consume. Drink it on adding 1 tsp of sugar. This relieves your leucorrhoea that within a week. This is one of the most common home remedies for leucorrhoea. Take pranacharya leucorest syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. And pranacharya leucona capsule 1-1 twice a day.

Dear Vigneshwaram, generally software professionals suffer from neck pain due to spending their day in the same posture for prolong period of time. You can take hot water fomentation on the cervical/ neck area. In the office hours dont spend your day in the same position at a stretch for more that 1-2 hours instead get up from your place do some stretching exercises of the neck and then go back to your seat. You can also go for neck muscles strenghtening exercises. Do write to me if needed any further help.

Hi, is she only having backache during menses? Is she also having some other medical conditions? Is she using any method of contraception like multiload? Any past history of injury on back?
