What is your age? Seeing your history the pain is mostly cervical not cardiac and you dont need to fear. What did vitamin level tests tell you? Were they low? I suggest dieting is not a way to reduce weight eat healthy like green leafy vegetables and fruits to reduce weight decrease carbohydrate from your diet also get a ECG done. If you are more than 30yrs of age and a x-ray cervical spine. Revert back in private question section if you want to consult further.

Hi Ms. Lybrate-user, you are going through a tough time indeed. However, first and foremost you need to de-stress yourself and relax so that you can think well and act prudently on the steps next. I would advise you to remain mentally strong as you already are, believe in yourself, and have faith and hope that there always is light at the end of the tunnel, however dark the tunnel may appear to be at present. Practicing mindfulness meditation can also help you relax, de-stress and keep you focused even during these tough times. You may have a flight of disturbing thoughts initially but slowly you will get to do better and be able to control your mind/ thought pattern well. A trip to some hill station or some scenic natural place can possibly help you relax, rejuvenate, think clearly and have a fresh perspective. Simultaneously, do keep up your dietary habits, lifestyle & hobbies and try enjoying every moment of your life irrespective. Its indeed important that you stay psycho-socially active too. Should you still have issues keeping calm and focus, you can always seek help from a psychologist who can clinically evaluate and put you on anxiolytics suitably, should it require so. Hope this helps. Do take care, and all the very best.

Globus pharangis (also known as globus hystericus commonly referred to as having a "lump in throat feeling"), is the persistent sensation of having phlegm, a pill or some other sort of obstruction in the throat when there is none. Swallowing can be performed normally, so it is not a true case of dysphagia, but it can become quite irritating. One may also feel mild chest pain or even severe pain with a clicking sensation when swallowing. If you have consulted an ENT specialist/physician and there have been no diagnosis or relief in symptoms, please consult a psychiatrist.

6 Signs you Need a Hearing Test

MS - ENT -, MBBS
ENT Specialist, Delhi
6 Signs you Need a Hearing Test

Here are 6 signs to watch out for that could indicate 'You need to get your Ears tested':

1. Your TV is blaring: Do you often find people around you shouting above the TV sound complaining that it's too loud? When you find it hard to hear the TV at the average volume and find yourself turning up the sound, this could signify a hearing loss. Doctors are seeing a growing number of patients visiting them after prolonged exposure to loud music and sounds.

2. You find it hard to hear phone conversations: Do you find yourself asking the person on the other end of the phone line to 'repeat' themselves, or find yourself pressing the phone instrument right into your ear? If you are trying so hard to hear, you might find yourself missing out on bits of the conversation as focussing to clearly hear the conversation is exhausting work. Getting a hearing test might be a good option if this sounds like you.

3. You have trouble hearing in noisy environments: When you are out dining with friends or family at a busy restaurant or accompanying a friend shopping in a busy street, all that background noise makes it difficult to hear what the people are saying. People with hearing loss often have problems masking out background noise.

4. Family members telling 'you're going deaf'?: Trust the views of the people closest to you, they never lie about your health. Family members often are the first to sense signs of hearing loss as they find themselves repeating things to you or calling out louder to get your 'attention'.

5. You find yourself staying away from social occasions, family gatherings or avoid being the first to start conversations

6. You find yourself leaning closer to people to follow the conversation or staring at their lips trying to lip-read what's being said.

Tip: Is a Low-salt Diet Thwarting Your Health Goals??

I'm getting married in October. My age is 27. I've been masturbating since I was 13. It's usually thrice a week. Pls ...
There is no medical evidence to suggest that masturbation causes any health harm or long term sexual side effects on health. However since it is an instant stress relieving exercise, many people get psychologically dependent of it for relieving anxiety and stress. Hence it is expected to find healthier alternatives to allay sexual anxiety and not just masturbate always. Since you are getting married it's advisable to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Have adequate sleep at night, eat healthy food, avoid smoking and alcohol, exercise daily, manage stress effectively.
