Getting Rid of Acne With Homeopathy

Getting Rid of Acne With Homeopathy

Homeopathic remedies are prescribed after a thorough analysis of your medical history, emotional and physical constitution. All Homeopathic medicines are based on achieving potency of the substance, which is done by diluting it with water and alcohol. In case of acne, this treatment controls the secretion of oil from the skin, removes acne related scars and eliminates underlying conditions such as hormonal imbalance that causes acne.

Various Homeopathic remedies to treat acne are:

  1. Calcariasulphuricum: This treatment is recommended for people who regularly have large pimples filled with pus. The person tends to be easily affected by heat.
  2. Dulcamara: It is used in treating acne as well as scars left by acne. It is usually recommended for acne that occurs due to climate changes.
  3. Sanguinaria: It is a very effective remedy for treating acne in women who have problems in their periods. It is also used in acne treatment in women who suffer from sexual problems.
  4. Silica: This treatment enhances the immune system of the body so that acne formation in the body is reduced. This is a common treatment for people who have recurrent bouts of acne.
  5. Natrum Muriaticum: This treatment is made from common salt and is used to treat acne that results from menstrual irregularities and other hormonal disturbances. It is also used for treating oily skin and other rashes which result from it.
  6. Arctium lappa: It is a Homeopathic remedy for treating symptoms of acne and its scars.

Hi. Let me you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent which is called 'Hairloss' rather and leads to bald areas of smooth and shiny surface. In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up which subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or hairloss- hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger any other underlying diseases, etc. Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smooking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Also, take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day for 1 month and revert me back. Use Schwabe's B & T - Anti-Dandruff shampoo and Anti-Dandruff oil for at least 3-6 months regularly without fail.

Hello Shampoo will help to clean the scalp.Oil will help to condition the scalp. All these will not reduce hair fall. Hair root is situated inside the scalp and it gets nutrition through blood. So in this case you have to eat properly. Continue using shampoo and oil.

Hello, the dark patch must be the crust after the burn. Apply antibiotic cream like fucidin cream twice a day for 7 days. Apply dermadew aloe moisturising lotion after bath. The mark if any will form after the burn wound heals in 7-10 days and has to be assessed later.

My face had very much pimples from past 10 years and still occurs erratically. There are marks on my face and black heads on nose which are filled with yellow oil beeds and dirt. Both kind of pimples occur on my face the small yellow ones and the big ones of half inches too. I have used medicines like acnestar gel but the scenario is same as I discontinue the medicine. Also someone has adviced me chemical peeling and dermaroller procedures. Please help me to figure out the best?

BHMS
Homeopath, Bangalore
Homeopathic medicines can address your issue. There is production of sebum from the oil glands and this clogs the pore of face. Also there is hormonal changes happening in body and all these lead to pimples at your age. Be patient in dealing with this. Do not peel or pinch the pimple. Wash your face frequently with a good face fash, you can use any herbal face wash. Make a paste of gram flour and apply on your face, keep it for 20 minutes and scrub and wash with cold water. Do this once a day before retiring to bed. This will remove the excess oil and remove the dead skin. See a good homeopathic doctor for constitutional treatment which will reduce the tendency to have pimples, reduce the sebum secretion and also improve your health.

My hair is too rough, thick and curly. I am fed up with my dirty hair. What I can do for strait and silky hair.
Hello, There are many ways to get straight and silky hair, but the curls with which we are born with, can’t be totally get rid off. - Regular hot oil treatments is one the best and easiest ways to keep your hair smooth and well hydrated. The heat and saturation from the warm oil will relax the light wavy and curly pattern of your hair. For hot oil treatment, the best options are coconut, olive, almond or sesame oil. - Coconut milk is believed to help straighten hair. It has a moisturizing ability and also gives your hair a beautiful shine and luster. In a glass jar, mix one cup of fresh coconut milk and the juice of one lemon. Place the glass jar in the refrigerator for a few hours, until there is a creamy layer on the top. Massage your hair and scalp with this cream, and then leave it on for 20 minutes.Cover your head with a shower cap or swimming cap and wrap a warm moist towel around the cap. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, and then shampoo and condition your hair. - Mix together one-half cup each of milk and water. Store the mixture in a spray bottle. Comb out any tangles in your hair, spray the mixture over your hair and comb it again. Leave it on for 30 minutes so that the milk is absorbed by your hair. Then wash your hair with shampoo and apply conditioner. - Beat two eggs properly and mix in four tablespoons of olive oil. Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp, then comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb. Wear a shower cap and leave it on for 30 to 45 minutes. Rinse it off and wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young!

1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

There are four main factors which causes acne: Oil production Dead skin cells Clogged pores Bacteria Factors that may worsen the acne: Androgen hormones, certain medications (drugs containing corticosteroids, androgens or lithium can worsen acne), dietary factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods — such as bread, bagels and chips — may trigger acne and Stress can make acne worse. Management: Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Hello. Eat every 2 to 3 hours and 30 minutes after you exercise. Include whole-grain carbohydrates and a lean protein food in each of your meals and snacks. Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Get quality sleep. 7- 8 hrs Eat Every 3 Hours. You need at least your body-weight in lbs x 20 kcal to gain weight. Protein = building block for your muscles. Chicken, fish, meat, eggs, milk, almonds. Aim for .8-1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight. Carbs are your friend when you need to put on weight – rice, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, etc. Will help you put on weight. Wash your face 3 times/ day. Consult me.
