For prevention the dehydration in typhoid fever take plenty of water. if you have severely dehydrated, you may need to receive fluids through a vein (intravenously). Avoid contaminated water.,avoid open foods and foods at outside of home. Wash proper hand before meal and after toilet . Drink warm water. Take liquid diet,juice,papaya, dalia, green veg., avoid oily meal.

Why do you want to go for knee replacement surgery? knee replacement surgery is the last resort if all necessary actions fail. First of all the diagnosis of knee pain has to be made. At the age of 52 years the most common cause of knee pain is osteoarthritis which can be diagnosed by an x ray. If it is osteoarthritis then along with medications few life style modifications are extremely important. You must avoid sitting on the floor, squatting, stair climbing, prolonged standing or prolonged walking, and you must do exercises for quadriceps strengthening. During walking you shoud use functional knee brace with hinge. If there is swelling rub ice for 15 mins 4 times a day. You can also modify your shoe to reduce pain in knee. Shoe modification is based on knee deformity. Most of the cases need shoe with lateral wedge insole for genu varus and calcaneovarus deformities. If all these measure fail to resolve your pain (provided the case is osteoarthritis) you can go for injections like steroid or high molecular weight hyaluronic acid before going for knee replacement surgery as mentioned earlier knee replacement surgery is the last resort. I answered for osteoarthritis knee, but first of all the diagnosis has to be confirmed. X ray knee joint, routin blood test and few special tests will help to get the doagnosis. Thank you.

Apply maha bhringraj oil on your scalp and massage then give hot water fomentation. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Take lots of proteins like soyabean. Egg white. Etc. Avoid tea. Coffee. Spicy food. Fermented food. Junk food. Apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp. Do pranayama early morning. Take kanchnar guggul 1-1 twice a day.

Do not do a lot of exercises when there is an episode of pain and inflammation, but once it is over, then intensive exercises to strengthen quadriceps and hamstring group of muscles, with posture counseling, daily brisk walks can help a lot. I live in hostel in Chandigarh. My age is 20 and my weight is 57. Sometimes I got breathing problems. From last 3-4 days I am not able to breath properly. I am able to inhale breath but not properly exhale. Sometime in a day or after one day. My body becomes hot but my hands nd feet are normal. And after sometime my heart beats also become fast and sweating is also there. Nd mind become numb like there is no soul in my body. I become so lazy. On Tuesday same thing happened to me. I went immediately to College's dispensary. I was not able to breath properly. Then doctor in dispensary check my BP. It was normal 122/82 but my pulse rate was 112 at that time. After sometime when my body stops warming up. My body starts shivering. I feel cold. And after sometime it becomes normal. At that time doctor checked my body temperature it was normal 98. No fever nothing. Same yesterday also happened the same. I was in my hostel room. Certainly my ears nd body and face become red nd hot. I put my hands on my heart. It was pumping high heart beats. Then I went to doctor again. He checked my BP it was normal 117/83 and pulse rate was 85. Today I went to dispensary again they checked my BP it was normal 122/87. But my pulse rate was 98. At that time I also feel the body becomes hot. I don't know what is happening with me. On 19th Jan. Consult a doctor. He gave me some test. Next day I went for those test nd reports are: 25-OH Vitamin D (Total): 17.68 nd range is 30-100 units Thyroid Stimulating Hormones (TSH): 1.875 and range is 0.35-5.50 hemoglobin: 12.6gm/dL and range is 12-14 TLC: 6000/cumm Total Cholesterol: 153.30 mg/dL and range is 123-200 Triglycerides: 326.10 mg/dL and range is 50-165 HDL: 49.8 mg/dL and range is 40-79.4 LDL: 129.3 mg/dL and range is 0-129 Total Cholesterol Ratio is 3.1 and Range is 0-4.97 VLDL: 65.2mg/dL and range is 7-35 LDL/HDL cholesterol ratio is 2.6 and range is 0-3.55 What should I do? I am not able breath properly. I am very worried abt my health. Please help me out and tell me abt my short breathing.

You are very tuned into what is happening with your body. But you need to tune into how the mind affects your body as well. If you are undergoing through any tension, stress, anxiety or fear, your body can react in a similar way (your body is showing symptoms of" flight" mode which is a natural body reaction to stress). You need to learn to manage stress effectively so that you can be productive and healthy. Please see a counsellor and discuss your problems with her to learn how to deal and cope with whatever is your problem.

According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. You can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice.

As you are 26 years of age your height is not going to increase and as per ayurved treatment ashwagandha powder is useful to increase height if anyone is below 17 years of age

I smoke around 5 to 6 cigarettes daily. I want to quit smoking but can not help the urge to smoke. And I do not feel much active feel lazy all times and also lost stamina having short breath. What can I do to improve in all these aspects?

Best age to stop smoking is before 40, In fact do not start all Only by using strong will power and avoiding all situations where you feel like smoking, chewing tobacco or drinking or using drugs avoiding friends who smoke and diverting mind by reading or chewing a gum, like NICORETTE and taking a walk when you crave for a smoke can all help. You can chew Nicorette gum which is nicotine replacement. There are medicines available. Which can be prescribed if asked personally Cigarette smoking is a leading preventable cause of mortality. It kills more than 60 lakh people worldwide every year. More than 50% of regular smokers would invariably die from tobacco-related illnesses which includes heart attack, cancer or asthmatic lung diseases. Best age to stop smoking is before 40 31st May is “World No Tobacco Day” Quitting smoking before the age of 40 is associated with larger decline in premature death than stopping it at a later date. Best age therefore to stop smoking is before 40. However, stopping smoking even after the age of 50 is still associated with lower risk of death as compared to those who continue to smoke. Even in smokers aged 80 years or more, quitting smoking appears to reduce some mortality.

I am fat I have a tummy and I wanna get slim I want perfect medicine to reduce weight with in less time can it be possible if so how?

There are exercises for belly fat. Is your thyroid hormone level tested? weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans to burn off fat. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take ? of your total as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests.

1. Potassium:

Bananas are among the most convenient food sources of potassium. This mineral is essential for maintaining proper heart function and regulating normal blood pressure.

ya u r right.lemon depletes moisture from skin hence making the skin dry. it should be applied in summer humid days to remove oil .in winter season instead of adding lemon juice use mint leaf juice to that mixture.it works as a miracle. If ur skin is dry u can use milk,honey pas te only. apply it twice daily.

Hi your height can grow till 25 year take following remedies 1. Flax seed powder 1 tsp after lunch and dinner with warm water 2. Lakshadi guggul 2 tab twice a day 3. Ashwgandha churna 1 tsp with milk at 6.30 pm exercise 1. Swimming 2. Skiping 3. Pull-ups 4. Suryanamaskar.

Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain foods, Use GARLIC in foods daily ,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . one important that is take 1 glass of water before bed at night. Because it protect from heart fail during sleep at night.

Cramps are due to many reasons, stress, diarrhea, diuretic, inadequate sleep, deficiency etc. Check your digestion, bowel cleansing, blood pressure and report.

Hibiscus leaves or flowers well, this is the best ayurvedic home remedy for hair loss. Hibiscus flowers and leaves can be very helpful in preventing hair loss and to promote hair growth. Hibiscus flowers are used as an effective cure for split ends and dandruff as well. Heat 12-15 hibiscus flowers in 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Strain the solution and collect the oil. Apply this concoction to the scalp and hairs, leave overnight and wash in the morning. To use the hibiscus leaves, grind them into fine paste and apply the paste to the scalp and hairs. Leave it on for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Rinse off with plenty of water. This controls the hair loss automatically and promotes hair growth. Hibiscus leaves for strong and long hair.
