Floaters are a symptom which might be due to vitreous debris or condensations. However it may also be an indicator of a much more serious problem like a retinal tear. Please have a dilated retinal examination at the earliest.

Hello. I am going to gym from the past 1 year and my Eye power seems to be increasing every 3 months. I sit in front of my PC and work. I also work late night. Is that the reason? How can I protect my eye? I already wear glasses. Secondly, I wanted to get my eye laser surgery done. How effective is it? Can I undergo this? My age is 20. But my power keeps changing. My doctor said me that the eye power can change because I workout and become thin. Please suggest me about the laser treatment and also my increasing eye power and solution to siting in front pc for longer period. Any gadget or glasses I need to wear? (i already wear my power glass) Please reply Thank you.

I have red eyes during 3 days. L can not see something else. What l should do now?

If associated with discharge and redness it's probably acute bacterial conjunctivitis. Dont. Worry. Put topical eyedrops toba and flur four times a day and tearsubstitute like genteal four times a day in d affected eye. It would be okay in 3 -4 days. Take care of eye hygiene that you yourself/other family members don't share the clothes and hankie of the affected eye to the normal eye else the normal eye wd also contract the infection. You can wash your eyes twice to thrice but not very frequently as it washes away the tear film which naturally contains imp antibacterial and anti infective elements: red eye has many causes. You have to see if it is associated with blurring of vision, pain, discharge and other complaints. But commonly its allergic or infective in origin ie allergic or infective conjunctivitis. Which has simple treatment protocol. But still its wise to see an ophthalmologist for a thorough slit lamp examination to rule out other differentials for acute red eye. See a doctor iof you are having problem in vision as conjuctivitis doesnt causes decreased vision.

Hello, Get your eyes tested from an Opthalmologist. Bloodshot eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: Eye dryness Too much sun exposure Dust or other particles in the eye Allergies Infection Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. Other causes of eye redness include Colds or allergies, Acute glaucoma, Corneal scratches: Injuries caused by sand, dust, or overuse of contact lenses. Sometimes, a bright red spot, called a subconjunctival hemorrhage, will appear on the white of the eye. This often happens after straining or coughing, which causes a broken blood vessel on the surface of the eye. Most often, there is no pain and your vision is normal. It is almost never a serious problem. Because the blood leaks into the conjunctiva, which is clear, you cannot wipe or rinse the blood away. Like a bruise, the red spot will go away within a week or two. Management: - Try to rest your eyes if redness is due to fatigue or eye strain. No other treatment is needed. - Wash your hands, hold clean water in your hand, keep your eyes closer to the water and dip the eyes by blinking the eyelids frequently in the held water in hand. Repeat it for 3-4 times again. - Avoid watching T. V. Working on computer or mobile, reading or frequently keep blinking your eyes to avoid dryness. Take frequent breaks in between. - In case there is itching, use a clean napkin or a tissue to wipe the tears and cleaning the eyelids gently. -Wear an UV-rays protected sunglasses while you are out in sun. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe’s Belladonna 30 and Euphrasia 30 - both thrice daily for 4 days. Use Euphrasia Eye drops twice daily. Revert back thereafter.

It seems that your child might have suffered from some retinal injury for which you get thoroughly examined by Retinal specialist , so that one can further decide the line of treatment possible.
