What is Premature Ejaculation?

Graduate in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery ( GAMS )
Sexologist, Delhi
What is Premature Ejaculation?

Premature (early) ejaculation—also referred to as rapid ejaculation; also called as early discharge. Premature Ejaculation Treatment in Delhi (PE) is the most common type of sexual dysfunction in men younger than 40 years and seen across all age groups. In elderly men (60 years) erectile dysfunction is more common. A study conducted by the Journal of Sexual Medicine revealed that this condition is almost equally prevalent in sexually active men of all age groups. If a man experiences uncontrollable ejaculation (discharge of semen from your penis) either before or shortly after sexual penetration (usually within 1-2 minutes of penetration), he may be suffering from PE. The Mayo clinic at the United States defines PE as a condition in which a man “always or nearly always ejaculates within one minute of penetration."

I've red dot spots on the roof of the mouth and it is irritating with my throat, ears and inside the nose. Please suggest me a medicine.

PG Hom, London, BHMS
Homeopath, Mumbai
Hi Ekam, The commonest cause of the red spots on the roof of the mouth is severe infection in the throat. However it is very necessary to rule out other possibilities for this condition. It will be better if you consult your dentist as some blood tests should ideally be done to find out the reasons for spots.

I am suffering from tiny white pimples/zits on my forehead from last 3 months which do not pain and do not go away even. Why are they caused and how to treat them?

I am suffering from tiny white pimples/zits on my forehead from last 3 months which do not pain and do not go away ev...
Cause for zits or pimples on forehead:- Rosacea- Rosacea leads to a red rash that is also accompanied by bumps and blisters all over the face. This is the main reason why many women misdiagnose rosacea as acne. Cosmetic acne- Acne on the forehead can also arise due to cosmetics, makeup and certain hair products. A popular hair gel called Pomade was used by many women for styling the hair differently. This was known to give rise to severe acne flare-ups and some women even experienced burning and itching on their scalp. Use of such cosmetics leads to clogged pores and the chemicals also tend to irritate delicate or sensitive skin. Popping zits- Mechanical abrasion in the form of using sharp combs, or wearing metallic hair bands, helmets, unwashed hats or caps etc can also cause adult acne on the forehead. Popping the zits can also cause bacteria to spread leading to even more acne flare-ups. Excoriated acne also occurs when a person has the habit of constantly touching the face to remove blackheads or scratch blemishes etc. Dandruff and greasy scalp- Dandruff is also a leading cause of forehead acne. It clogs the skin’s pores leading to zits and pimples. Follow following precautions for pimple. Discontinue use of all kinds of cosmetics and products. If you have dandruff, seek treatment for it. You could use Selenium sulfide or other anti-fungal shampoos to prevent and control flaking and itching of scalp. Cleanse tone and moisturize the entire face, paying greater attention to the forehead. Use dermatologist-approved products only. When selecting over-the-counter cleansers and moisturizers, opt for non-acnegenic, non-comedogenic products. Avoid alcohol based products. Do not use a harsh towel to dry the face- use soft and clean towel and only pat dry the skin. Avoid hair oils, harsh shampoos and conditioners etc on the hair. Get regular facials at a reputed dermatologist or spa. Facials can help clear away the sebum, debris and dirt that have accumulated on the skin. This will help the pores clear to prevent future breakouts. You can use homemade face masks and DIY facials containing diluted apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice) with some honey to regularly massage and treat the skin. They all have healing anti microbial properties and can reduce and prevent breakouts on the forehead. Never sleep with the makeup on. Always wash your face prior to bed time. Stress is also a leading cause of acne. Try some light exercise, meditation etc to reduce stress and acne breakouts. Diet plays an important role in your skin’s health. Make sure you eat balanced meals and drink plenty of water. Foods like walnuts, green tea, fresh fruits and vegetables, fatty fish etc are good for the skin and can prevent acne.

Good nutrion al diet does't cost much, most of the people take more of rice/chapathito fill the stomach that is not goodenough. It sould conttain enough carbohydrates, fats ,proteins, you must practice less of rice/chapath, more of vegetables, enough of dal' not in watery form, only solid form is betterlike rice, plenty of green vegiies .dal, chenna, cheeze, groundnut, cocnut, panneer would contribute for proteain sources. One can spplement milk as protein. Follow the principle, you must haveking's breakfast, lunchas ordinary man ,diiner as poor man'sone. I am sure one can have healthy diet.

Symptoms of depression? And states how to cure it? When the symptoms are visible.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Symptoms of depression? And states how to cure it? When the symptoms are visible.
Symptoms of depression in women include: • Persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" mood. • Loss of interest or pleasure in activities, including sex. • Restlessness, irritability, or excessive crying. • Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, helplessness, hopelessness, pessimism. • Sleeping too much or too little, early-morning awakening. Depression in women differs from depression in men in several ways: • Depression in women may occur earlier, last longer, be more likely to reoccur, be more likely to be associated with stressful life events, and be more sensitive to seasonal changes • Women are more likely to experience guilty feelings and attempt suicide, although they actually commit suicide less often than men • Depression in women is more likely to be associated with anxiety disorders, especially panic and phobic symptoms, and eating disorders • Depressed women are less likely to abuse alcohol and other drugs • Symptoms of depression in MEN include: • Persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" mood. • Feelings of hopelessness, pessimism. • Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, helplessness. • Loss of interest or pleasure in hobbies and activities that were once enjoyed, including sex. • Decreased energy, fatigue, being "slowed down" If you feel depressed, it's best to do something about it — depression doesn't just go away on its own. In addition to getting help from a doctor or therapist, here are 5 things you can do to feel better. 1. Exercise. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day — or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. In addition to getting aerobic exercise, some yoga poses can help relieve feelings of depression. Two other aspects of yoga — breathing exercises and meditation — can also help people with depression feel better. 2. Nurture yourself with good nutrition. Depression can affect appetite. One person may not feel like eating at all, but another might overeat.. Proper nutrition can influence a person's mood and energy. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get regular meals (even if you don't feel hungry, try to eat something light, like a piece of fruit, to keep you going). 3. Identify troubles, but don't dwell on them. Try to identify any situations that have contributed to your depression. When you know what's got you feeling blue and why, talk about it with a caring friend. Talking is a way to release the feelings and to receive some understanding. 4. Express yourself. With depression, a person's creativity and sense of fun may seem blocked. Exercise your imagination (painting, drawing, doodling, sewing, writing, dancing, composing music, etc.) and you not only get those creative juices flowing, you also loosen up some positive emotions. Take time to play with a friend or a pet, or do something fun for yourself. Find something to laugh about — a funny movie, perhaps. Laughter helps lighten your mood. 5.Try to notice good things. Depression affects a person's thoughts, making everything seem dismal, negative, and hopeless. If depression has you noticing only the negative, make an effort to notice the good things in life. Try to notice one thing, then try to think of one more. Consider your strengths, gifts, or blessings. Most of all, don't forget to be patient with yourself. Depression takes time to heal. If you are happy with these answers please click on "useful” link so that I can know my efforts are not wasted. If you want more clarifications please ask me directly and not in open questions session

Dear lybrate-user, start taking black til (seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. Avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items, too much of salt in food shud be avoided. Start avle ka murabba daily. Also have a high protien rich diet e. G. Pulses, dry fruits, black gram, ground nut etc, white of egg (if you eat egg). Also oil your hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with shirodhara with herbal oil and nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes.
