I have been suffering from throat infection since 14 days. Initially I had cold then had severe infection, met physician he gave augmed 625 for 1 week. But I used for only 3 days and felt relief, but after two days I felt a bit irritation. So again used same augmed 625 still didn't get relief. Again met doctor he changed to ceoflex xl, I used for 5 days. I am feeling pain in ear sometimes . Meet ent even he said still some infection is remaining and continue tabs for two days . Does infection persists for so many days ? Even I am getting cough.

Hello Mr. Lybrate-user. As you said you have infection. Do routine blood test to rule out whether is it infective, viral or allergic. For productive cough you better do your x-ray chest (p/a) view. Let we know. As you have taken antibiotics n symptomatic rx. Try homeopathy to avoid recurrence and better recovery.

Help yourself to make a sunscreen cream with turmeric powder, milk and lemon juice, it will be a good combination cream as a sunscreen. Also you can buy Nivea cream to apply over dry skin to make it supple.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. It is possible to recover from having loose teeth. However, you don't have time to waste! loose teeth or teeth shifting around in the mouth is a sure sign that gum disease has been active in the mouth for years. The teeth become loose when the bone and ligament that holds them in place is being destroyed. The truth is that if a person with loose teeth doesn't change their course, their teeth are going to drop out of their mouth one at a time. Gum disease generally develops because of improper brushing and flossing habits, although underlying medical conditions may have a correlation to greater incidence. The bacteria that are found in the mouth as a result of these poor habits begin to affect the surrounding bone and tissues below the gumline. Consult a periodontist at the earliest.

Hello lybrate user, 1. See whether you have severe dandruff? if yes do antidandruff treatment- Himalaya Antidandruff shampoo, kesh kanti shampoo, Ketomac shampoo , your hair fall will gradually stop. If the scalp is itching you actually have dandruff problem. 2. Start with biotin supplement capsules one every night for 30 days, it helps to reduce hair fall 3. Apply medicated oil (nilibhringyadi taila, vatajatadi taila etc. According to your scalp type) trice in a week to the hair, avoid use of chemicals to your hair like gel, colouring, straightening 4. Do not have oily, spicy, salty food, alcohol, nonveg (meat), carbonated drinks as they increase hairfall 5. Do not often be active sexually with your partner or masturbarate as it increases hairfall (androgenic alopecea- type of hairfall common in males) 6. Stress can be a reason, do not get angry or anxious too much. 7. Prefer veg diet and fruit juices. 8. Avoid direct sunlight as it increase hairfall. 9. Washing hair properly is very important as use soft towel to dry them, do not harshly treat your hair 10. Do not have bath over hair with high salty level water (water from borewell, hand pumps) 11. See whether your dad or uncle or brother have same hairfall problem as it can be hereditary 12. If you sweat alot it will cause dandruff in hairs so wash them properly with ayurvedic medicated shampoo. 13. If you have chronic acidity, it will require treatment as it increases hairfall rate. Everyone has a growth of hair but when rate of hairfall is double the grow rate then the hair fall is visible. So it is more important to stop the hairfall first then you can concentrate on hair growth. Having the correct food and supplements assure that you have a proper hair growth. 14. The medicines best of hairfall depends upon them cause of your problem and there is no straight forward medicines in ayurveda like allopathy any normal medicine may also be useful if the exact cause is known. Ayurvedic treatment is very effective for above problem.

Egg is very good source of protein specially egg white. It gives you proteins which is necessary for body building and muscle growth. But amount of protein is different for person to person. One egg contain approximately 7 gm of protein, but no of egg depend on your other dietary habits and many other factor. But you can consume 3 eggs/day. Try to avoid yellow part.

Cleanliness is most important. Wash hair with permethrin lotion once weekly. Wash hair on alternate days with some mild shampoo. Fine comb the hair daily. Eat healthy diet. Avoid fried & spicy food.

*Try to keep to a regular timing for going to bed*Avoid fried and heavy foods. Eat early and light food at night so that the food is almost digested by the time you go to bed. *Prefer fruits and green vegetables. *Fix daily work schedule and be busy with your work. Don’t keep pending problems in mind. Note down the points and leave them for next day’s action. *Don’t do stimulating mental work or keep watching TV which can keep your mind agitated or active. This will not allow you to sleep. Ppl who hv history of improper digestion, constipation n habits of eating irregularly 1) do sm exercise bt never late in the evening 2) avoid caffeine in all forms spl after lunch tym 3) tk nice long warm bath before bed tym 4) do calm activities like chantting mantra n japa 5) avoid watching tv, gaming, readings @night. Make your bedroom comfortable clean fresh sheets n pillow, quiet, dark atm 6) tk nidrodaya ras 125 mg twice with milk (warm) thanku.

These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals.     Reduce your main meals by 1/4th  the amount. Take a glass of lime water 10 minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.
