Nail biting can be a hard habit to break — but if you don't, your dental health might suffer much more than your manicure. Children or adults who bite their nails could crack, chip or wear down their front teeth from the stress caused by biting.

Go to a dental clinic for through check up to rule out the cause of pain. You may have gum disease or fracture in the tooth. X-ray will help to get the right diagnosis.

Naturally our teeth colour ranges from pearly white to pale yellow so everyone cannot hv white teeth. Get scalling n polishing done by dentist. If you r not happy with your teeth shade later, you can get bleaching done by dentist which'll lighten your teeth by 2-3 shades. Alternatively you can use a teeth whitening toothpaste such as snowdent after scalling. Whitening gels used daily along with customized dental trays provided by dentist r also available in the market. Avoid heavily coloured foods, tea n coffee, cool drinks, smoking n tobacco products as they stain teeth.

Hello sir, I am having a wisdom tooth pain what to do reduce the pain any medicine you recommend.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
Hello sir, I am having a wisdom tooth pain what to do reduce the pain any medicine you recommend.
Wisdom teeth usually make their appearance between the ages of 17 and 21, though it's possible for them to push through earlier or later. Referred to as your "third molars, these four teeth begin to push through the skin like any other tooth, which can cause pain. However, wisdom teeth are much more likely to grow in at an incorrect angle – even sideways – causing impaction that can radiate this pain to the teeth in front of it. Kindly get it extracted as soon as possible.

We can't say whether your pain will not occur for two weeks or any particular duration. But these medicines will surely help in reducing the symptoms. Usually 3-5 days course of medicine will not give major side effects but its not advisable to continue the medicines for 2 weeks. I suggest you to go for treatment as this will take hardly 1 hour and later sittings can be given after exams if required.

When I eat sweets. One of my teeth experience high sensation. Why it is?
Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with desensitizing/ whitening procedures and / or artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment. You may consult me in person too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Having cavity in teeth totally damaged if we remove teeth it will what and to fix new permanent teeth so it will pain...
Teeth removal is done by giving anesthesia in that area. It will not give any pain. After removal, you might need pain killer for one or two days. Teeth replacement will not give any pain and is a simple procedure.

Ulcers generally take 1-2 weeks to heal completely. Recurrent ulcers can be due to local mouth conditions such as rough teeth surface or rough mouth appliances or dentures. It can also b due to general nutrtional deficiency, digestion prob, work pressure n stressful lifestyle etc. Certain bacterial n viral infections also cause ulcers. Treatment: start on multivitamin tabs n iron supplements if your hb% levels r low. Apply dologel oral ointment on ulcers thrice daily. Avoid spicy n oily food, alcohol, tea n coffee. Drink plenty of water n hv fibrous foods. Visit dentist to rule out oral factors responsible for ulcers.
