How long does it take for Osgood Schlatter to go away?
How do you treat Osgood Schlatter?
Osgood Schaltter is a problem at the tibial tuberosity of the Shin bone. It's sometimes associated with other co-factors like Pes Anserinus bursitis, Overweight/Obese, Repetitive overuse of Shin on floor work etc. If it's severe, it usually takes 3 months to heal with proper Physiotherapy and Rest along with Proteolytic enzymes supplements. Feel free to contact me for further evaluation. Hope it helps. Thanks.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. You. Should go for x ray knee. Or consult to orhtthropedic for better advise. I just wanna try to convince you, according to ayurved terminology it arises due to imbalane of not proper digestion of your intake food. We say it aam dosha. Which goes to joint for nurishment but aam is present that deposited in there and arise pain and sometimes with kriptus sound. When your touch your palm in joint you can feel some warmness there. Sweling. And redness may also seen. If it is in starting .you cane cure in short time.

I am experiencing tingling and numbness in hands and legs, what may be the reason.

I am experiencing tingling and numbness in hands and legs, what may be the reason.
Hi Lybrate user! Tingling in the hands and feet is often associated with other symptoms like pain, burning, or numbness in the hands and feet. These type of sensations commonly reflect damage to the nerves in the area (neuropathy); because these are peripheral areas of the body, the term peripheral neuropathy is used to refer to this type of symptom. Peripheral neuropathy has a number of causes and varies in severity among affected people. Vitamin deficiency, diabetes, and kidney failure are among the medical causes of tingling in the hands and feet due to nerve damage.
