I have developed a flaky dry skin on my elbows and on the thighs. It's not itchy, nor it's red but when I apply any moisturizer, after few weeks the skin becomes normal. But the skin becomes a little dark over that spot when compared to the original skin tone. What should be done?

The best and natural home remedy is coconut oil. Apply coconut oil daily on to the affected area. To lighten the skin tone you can use simple home remedies like lemon and sugar scrub.

Can using a banana peel over a small black mole under eye can remove it without having any marks on the face.

Can using a banana peel over a small black mole under eye can remove it without having any marks on the face.
U have to get it removed with either Co2 laser or radiofrequency machine .Banana peel won't help in removal of mole. Slight mark may be there after removal.

I have dark circles around my eyes. Ive tried Lotus eye gel nd Also VLCC almond eye cream. But its not disappearing. I do not have constipation also. I drink milk & use specs while watching tv or any screen as advised by the eye doctor as per my power. Wat can I do externally nd internally 2 make dense dark circles disappear?

I have dark circles around my eyes. Ive tried Lotus eye gel nd Also VLCC almond eye cream. But its not disappearing. ...
Dark circle may be due to... Frequent rubbing under eye Waking late night / Inadequate sleep Lack of nutrition in diet / Anaemia Dehydration Watching Mobile, Laptop / TV of long times Or Hereditary. Treatment would be accordingly. Change your lifestyle Drink plenty of water Add more of fresh fruits and veggies in your diet. Sleep adequately 6-8 hrs Apply sunscreen around eyes Put moisturiser daily at night before sleep. To lighten your skin you can use depigmenting (Advan) cream at bed time and sunscreen (Photostable) in morning(8 AM) and afternoon(12 noon). You can also take oral vitamin C tab daily. Take Care

Skin Care Tip for Acne

Skin Care Tip for Acne
1.Wash your hands frequently and try not to touch your face too often.

2.Keep your hair from falling on the face or forehead.

3.Avoid the use of make-up; try to let the pores breathe.

4.Don’t squeeze or pinch the pimples as the membrane gets ruptured and causes the sebum and bacteria spread.

5.Don’t wash your face more than twice because the more we wash the sebaceous glands become more active and produce more sebum.

you r a victim of acne vulgaris and it's sequelae like most people your age. It's a very common problem with a lot of solutions. These acne pimples if broken leave really dark marks. So steer clear from them. Don't pick at them. Avoid cosmetics and over the counter face products. Overwashing won't remove pimples or spots. You need to use cold water and wash face with a salicylic acid containing wash twice a day and not more. It vil help reduce the oiliness to a large degree. Avoid milk and milk products, you can have them occasionally. Instead, you can have tea or coffee. Do not stress over your problem its treatable. Stress vil only increase chances of more pimples. Exercise. You can practice meditation, it vil take your mind of your problem and create all the right chemicals in you. Have fruits with a high vitamin A content (such as broccoli, papaya, spinach and carrots) as this helps to flush acne-causing proteins from the system, and with high vitamin E and C contents (oranges, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, avocados) which have antioxidant effects and help to calm the skin. Have adequate amount of water. Include nuts like almond, walnuts. Avoid milk and milk products like butter, cheese as well as refined flour items and sugary drinks. this vil definrtly help u.

To remain healthy you should follow 3 steps in your life 1.BALANCED DIET esp. rich in Iron 2.EARLY MORNING BRISK MORNING WALK for 30 minutes and 10 minutes evening walk after Dinner 3.DRINK 6-8 Glasse of water daily. As 60% of our body is made of water, it acts as a carrier of essential nutrients inside our body. Loosing as little as 5% of body's weight as water can cause headache, fatigue and lower your muscle strength. To stay healthy, an adult should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. (b) Slow carbohydrates energy sources: Beans, Bread, Cereals, Potato, Pulses, Rice. 2. Proteins: Essential for growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. Hence, a person requires protein intake every day. When the body does not get enough carbohydrates to fuel itself, it falls back on protein bank. That is why people who follow starvation diets or go on fasting lose muscle tissue. (a) Major protein sources: Egg white(white portion), Milk, Soybeans/Soymilk, Fish, Cheese, Tofu. (b) Other protein sources: Beans with wheat, Nuts, Curd, Yogurt (Dahi). 3. Fats: Required and healthy when taken in small amounts. Excess fat leads to weight gain, increase in bad cholesterol (LDL) and heartproblems (a) Major fats sources: Egg yolk (Yellow portion), Avocados, Whole Milk, Butter, Cheese, Nuts. (b) Other fats sources: Corn, Vegetable/Olive oil, Biscuits, Flaxseeds(San Beej). 4. Vitamins and Minerals: Critical for normal functioning of organs and processes within our body. They do not provide energy directly but work behind the scenes to break down food into energy. 5. Fiber: It helps retain water and in making our stools softer to avoid constipation. Intake should be 25 to 35 grams a day. 6. Calories: A measure of how much energy food or drink contains. On an average, a man needs around 2,000 calories a day and a woman 1700 calories a day to maintain his weight and good health. Number varies by person depending upon weight, age and how active the lifestyle is. 8.Sources of Iron: (a). Vegetables: Spinach, Dark green leafy vegetables, Lentils(Daal). (b) Fruits: Avocados(Makhanphal), Peach(Adau), Pear(Nashpati), Pumpkin(Kaddu), Raisin(Kishmish), Pomegranate(Anaar). Food: Eggs, Fish, Meat, Cereals, Almonds(Badam), Whole wheat bread, Soybean. 8. Guideline: Each day have 3 main meals, 2 snacks, 5 pieces of fruit and at least 1 glass of milk.
