If you masturbate 5 times a day obviously you will get desensitised to sexual arousal and have difficulties in getting and sustaining arousal. First thing that you should do is try to lower the frequency of masturbation secondly there are many natural ways and exercises with which you can improve on dysfunction apart from that many a times there is stress which leads to this which you may not be aware of sometimes it's in sub concious. Seek help from a psychologist. Consult me for same we can chalk out the desirable plan for you. All the best.

Hair Loss - How Acupuncture Can Help Treat it?

Hair Loss - How Acupuncture Can Help Treat it?

Acupuncture refers to an alternative treatment procedure in which needles are pierced at certain specific points in your body known as energy lines or meridians, in the process, to treat a a health condition. Acupuncture is used to treat different kinds of health problems. Hair loss is a very distressing problem for men and women alike.

There are many causes that can be responsible for your hair loss such as:

  1. Using hair styling gels and other substances
  2. Genetic problems
  3. Hormonal imbalance
  4. Taking too many steroids
  5. A diet lacking sufficient amount of proteins

There are different treatment methods that can help you to deal with your problem of hair loss such as Ayurveda, homeopathy, allopathy or conventional methods and other home remedies.  But if nothing works for you, you can try this alternative treatment method of acupuncture. Acupuncture offers effective remedies for combating your problem of hair loss. The following are some of the treatment methods:

  1. Sometimes, needles are pierced into the energy lines or meridians of your head to improve blood circulation. Improvement in your blood circulation can reduce hair fall.
  2. At times acupuncture, treatment involves applying topical creams on your scalp for reducing hair fall.
  3. Acupuncture treatment sometimes, may include hot towel massage on your scalp. This can prevent hair loss.
  4. Acupuncture also works at reducing your stress as that is a major cause of hair fall.
  5. Since proper functioning of the kidney is also responsible for providing nourishment to your hair, acupuncture treatment also involves injecting needles at different key points on your body in order to stimulate energy release and promote kidney health.
  6. Acupuncture treatment also involves the use of different Chinese herbs for reducing hair fall such as Astragalus or Polygoni multiflori.

Acupuncture treatment for hair loss is definitely effective but is very time consuming. So you must be very patient throughout your treatment process to get the desired results. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a acupuncturist.

Primary objective of your treatment is weight reduction and maintain normal bmi of 18-25. This will regularize the monthly cycles and also help you get pregnant. You can take metformin to reduce weight. For reducing your weight you should have brisk walk or jogging for 4-5 km daily, high protein diet (fish, chicken, mutton without fat, pulses, mushrooms), low carbohydrate diet (avoid rice, chapatti, bread, poha, upma, idli, dosa, potato, sugar etc and can use bhakri instead) and low fat i. Hello lybrate-user, sweating due to the heat in summer makes your body lose electrolytes like sodium and potassium leaving you with a feeling of tiredness. Rehydrating your body by having oral rehydration solutions like electral, lemon water, fresh fruit juices, buttermilk will help. Have 10-12 glasses of water per day to avoid dehydration. For choices in meals include more salads, any gourd vegetable, dals with less seasoning, chass along with staple phulka/rice. Breakfast can be milkshakes, lassi with sandwich/cereals/1 bowl fresh fruits etc.

What are the symptoms and measures to cure dengue? Especially ayurvedic measures that can help in curing dengue.

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS

What are the symptoms and measures to cure dengue? Especially ayurvedic measures that can help in curing dengue.
The principal symptoms of dengue are: -high fever and at least two of the following: -severe headache -severe eye pain (behind eyes) -joint pain -muscle and/or bone pain -rash -mild bleeding manifestation (nose or gum bleed, petechiae, or easy bruising) Watch for warning signs as temperature declines 3 to 5 days after symptoms/fever began, as this is the most dangerous period when platelet counts decline significantly. Report immediately to hospital if any of the following warning signs appear: -severe abdominal pain or persistent vomiting -red spots or patches on the skin -bleeding from nose or gums -vomiting blood -black, tarry stools  -drowsiness or irritability -pale, cold, or clammy skin -difficulty breathing There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. -Use analgesics with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. -Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc.to prevent dehydration. -Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. -Use mosquito repellents/mosquito nets when indoors.  -When outdoors, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants tucked into socks.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Post graduate in counselling psychology
Psychologist,
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

We typically seek counselling or psychotherapy when our old ways lead to problems and starts affecting us and the relationships we are into.

In conventional therapy, you may spend one or two hours per week developing new skills and exploring alternative perspectives. Once you leave my office, I hope you will incorporate the work you did into your daily life. Sometimes I will assign you “homework” that reinforces the concepts addressed in your session. You might choose to journal or simply think about what you learned to make better sense of it and to uncover new insights for your next appointment.

This consistent attention to your therapy leads to continuity, the unbroken thread that ties together your revelations from week to week. This is the key to lasting change. You and I plant the seeds for change in your session, and then your independent efforts allow them to take root and grow into the foundation for an improved life.

If your needs are minimal, or you just need someone to listen and give you quick fix solutions , this pattern could work for you. However, if your goals revolve around healing deep-seated hurts, improving relationships, or breaking lifelong habits, this pattern needs a lot of hard work. Without consistent effort between sessions, your therapy may feel disconnected from or even irrelevant to your daily life. If you don’t complete the tasks assigned to you each week, you miss the opportunity to practice new skills that contribute to the goals you set for yourself.

Your decision may create more peace in your life and/or lead to the end of important relationships. Your decision may leave you stuck in an untenable situation and/or open your eyes to the positive aspects of your life that you previously ignored. Whatever you do, make sure your choice not to change is the one that feels right for you.

When I ask you to practice a new behaviour, it is expected that you will feel uncomfortable and may stumble on your new path. I want you to challenge your status quo and take small, calculated risks that result in an incremental change.

Changing your life requires work. Weekly therapy sessions are just the beginning. The real work happens between sessions when you actively engage in the creation of change and commit to making it last.

How to Manage and Treat Fatigue?

MD - Internal Medicine, FUPDA, FICP, FIACM
Internal Medicine Specialist, Faizabad
How to Manage and Treat Fatigue?

Fatigue is a common complaint amongst middle aged people. It is mostly seen in people who have refrained from physical activity or working out for long. This being said, there are a host of other diseases where fatigue acts as the most prominent symptom. Some major diseases where fatigue is involved are anemia, heart diseases, thyroid and diabetes. If you are feeling exhausted or worn out even after a good night’s sleep, it is time to consult your doctor. Here are a few tips that can help you in managing fatigue in the early stage:

  1. Review your existing medication: Get your doctor to check your medication to ensure that the fatigue is not a result of your existing medicine. Doctors often change the medication for any side effects such as this. It is also advised not to take additional medicine to counter fatigue.
  2. Start moving: Studies show that physical activity greatly boosts the level of energy in an individual. Daily exercise not only reduces fatigue but makes the heart and lung function more efficiently. It increases vigor and the overall quality of life. According to a study conducted by the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, it was seen that people who are more active have more self-confidence.
  3. Drink water: Dehydration often causes day time fatigue. It not only impairs the physical performance of an individual but also contribute to lack of alertness and motivation. A good indicator of the body’s hydration is the color of the urine. Ideally it should be yellow, pale or straw colored. Any coloration other than this signifies that the body needs more water.
  4. Hit the bed early: Lack of sleep is one of the biggest factors of fatigue. A study conducted by the Stanford University in 2004 showed that people with good sleeping habits suffers from less fatigue. An afternoon nap followed by a coffee further reduces fatigue and energizes a person. 8 hours of sleep is considered to be healthy and keeps fatigue at bay.
  5. Frequent eating: It is observed that people who eat small meals several times a day are less prone to this condition than others who eat twice or thrice a day but eat bigger meals. Frequent eating maintains a steady blood sugar level and helps a person concentrate harder. This being said, it has to be ensured that food is consumed in smaller quantities to refrain from putting on weight.
  6. Try Yoga: While any kind of exercise is helpful in countering fatigue, yoga is particularly helpful in boosting energy. A British study conducted among young adults showed that those who attended 6 weeks of yoga classes are found to be more energetic and mindful. Yoga should be practiced under strict supervision of an instructor to avoid any possible complications of the body.

you are too young to face this problem however any untreated, unrecovered fracture sites always leads to problems in the future when we live day to day life activities. If the old fracture sites are not properly healed then we can keep ice to heal that particular injured bone which will definitely heal to greater extent. If the fracture is not properly healed then automatically there might be lack of blood circulation to that particular area which will definitely lead to pain in the hip. When we sit hip is completely flexed ( ie. bend in the hip joint) so it automatically takes entire weight on the buttoks and there is one part of the pelvic bone called as ischium which takes the entire body weight if there is any problem in that area it will definitely leads to pain in the hip. You can also do one time hot water fermentation will help to increase the blood circulation and MCR chappals can be used to feel relaxed when you walk or stand as the body weight will get distributed evenly and it will cause less impact ie. less weight on the hip joint. cushion pillow (also called as doughnut pillow) where in the buttock's weight will not fall exactly on the painful tail bone and that would automatically reduce the pain. This air cushion pillow (donut pillow) can be used in the hard surfaces of sitting ie. dining table chairs, wooden chairs,

Our growth: fall ratio is 80: 20. On our entire scalp 20% of the hair is always in fall phase. All together we have 1, 50, 000 hair on entire scalp. Loosing 20% means loosing 50 to 100 strands on daily basis is normal. It will come out while oiling, washing and combing. These hair grows back again. If the hair comes comes out even on slightest touch or if you notice hair fallen on pillow then it is considered as hair fall. It is very important to check the hair and even scalp. After checking it will be easy to treat. Hair is made up of minerals, protein and iron. Food like sprouts, beans, nuts, soya along with green leafy vegetables help us to give enough nourishment. Drink 3 lit of water/day. Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week. Consult trichologist.

I am not healthy .i hv not able to complete my sleep. Soo wht can I do for a good health.

I am not healthy .i hv not able to complete my sleep. Soo wht can I do for a good health.
Adopting new habits to help you sleep Stick to a regular sleep schedule. Support your biological clock by going to bed and getting up at the same time every day, including weekends. Avoid naps. Napping during the day can make it more difficult to sleep at night. If you feel like you have to take a nap, limit it to 30 minutes before 3 p.m. Limit caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine. Stop drinking caffeinated beverages at least eight hours before bed. While alcohol can make you feel sleepy, it interferes with the quality of your sleep, and nicotine is a stimulant. Avoid late meals. Try to avoid heavy, rich foods within two hours of bed. Fatty foods can take a lot of work for your stomach to digest and spicy or acidic foods can cause heartburn. Get regular exercise. Regular exercise can improve the symptoms of insomnia, but it’s not a quick fix. It takes several months to feel the full effects. Aim for 30 minutes or more of activity on most days—but not too close to bedtime. Develop a better bedtime routine It’s not just what you do during the day that affects the quality of your sleep, but also those things you do to prepare your mind and body for sleep. Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, and cool. Noise, light, and heat can interfere with sleep. Try using a sound machine or earplugs to hide outside noise, an open window or fan to keep the room cool, and blackout curtains or a sleep mask to block out light. Avoid stimulating activity and stressful situations before bedtime. This includes vigorous exercise, big discussions or arguments, or catching up on work. Instead, focus on quiet, soothing activities, such as reading, knitting, or listening to soft music, while keeping lights low. Turn off screens one hour before bedtime. The light emitted from TV, tablets, smartphones, and computers suppresses your body’s production of melatonin and can severely disrupt your sleep. Instead of emailing, texting, watching TV, or playing video games, try listening to a book on tape, a podcast, or reading by a soft light. Learn to associate your bed with sleeping, not sleeplessness Use the bedroom only for sleeping and sex. Don’t work, read, watch TV, or use your computer in bed or the bedroom. The goal is to associate the bedroom with sleep alone, so that your brain and body get a strong signal that it’s time to nod off when you get in bed. Get out of bed when you can’t sleep. Don’t try to force yourself to sleep. Tossing and turning only amps up the anxiety. Get up, leave the bedroom, and do something relaxing, such as reading, drinking a warm cup of caffeine-free tea, taking a bath, or listening to soothing music. When you’re sleepy, go back to bed. Move bedroom clocks out of view. Anxiously watching the minutes tick by when you can’t sleep—knowing that you’re going to be exhausted when the alarm goes off—is a surefire recipe for insomnia. You can use an alarm, but make sure you can’t see the time when you’re in bed. It’s also helpful to challenge the negative attitudes about sleep and your insomnia problem that you’ve developed over time.

Sir. 3 mnth pehle mere left ovary me cyst tha jis wajh se mera opration karke left ovary remove kr diya gya Main unmarried hun Kya is wajh se main pregnent nahi ho sakti.

MBBS, MS - Obstetrics and Gynaecology
IVF Specialist, Delhi
Women have got two ovaries. While removal of one of them certainly can affect the overall potential (your stock of eggs in the body is likely reduced to half now), the real impact (if any) on your fertility will likely depend on many other factors. As you may know it requires just one egg for fertilization and if your other ovary is healthy and continues to work properly and rest everything is normal (structurally and functionally), you should be fine. The good thing is that you are young and have age on your side. I will suggest you to plan a family sooner rather than later. In the worst case, you do have the option of fertility preservation these days, wherein you could actually get your eggs frozen and stored outside of your body for use at a later, more opportune time.
