I have cough from 1 week and cold, fever and headache also. I don't know what can I do?
-drink plenty of fluids (veg/tomato soups, dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food (like sprouts). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine -treatment: a cold usually lasts for a week or two. Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. Take only lukewarm water to drink during the day -use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -do steam inhalation once or twice daily.

For management of fever or viral fever, first it has to be clinically confirmed that how much is the temp. And if required based on symptoms and signs it can be investigated further. For mild fever with common cold a tablet of acetaminophen can be taken but for fevers associated with dengue, malaria, burning micturition and diarrhea, some investigations may be required. In your case you can start with tab crocin.

you can try during ovulation period which is fertile period when there is maximum chance for conceive.your ovulation period is 8th day and 22nd day of your menses.take nutritious food.take rich diet of calcium,iron and vitamins.avoid fried,oily and artificial food.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Hello, PCOS or pcod s a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant. PCOS also may cause unwanted changes in the way you look. If it isn't treated, over time it can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease. The most common symptoms are: Acne.Weight gain and trouble losing weight.Extra hair on the face and body.Thinning hair or even hair loss on scalp.Irregular periods. Often women with PCOS have fewer than nine periods a year. Some women have no periods. Others have very heavy bleeding.Fertility problems. Many women who have PCOS have trouble getting pregnant(infertility), depression. Regular exercise, healthy foods, and weight control are the key treatments for PCOS. Treatment (hormonal) can reduce unpleasant symptoms and help prevent long-term health problems. Try to fit in moderate activity and/or vigorous activity often. Brisk Walking, jogging, dance or aerobics are great exercise that most people can do.Eat heart-healthy foods. This includes lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, and whole grains. It limits foods that are high insaturated fat, such as meats, cheeses, and fried foods.Most women who have PCOS can benefit from losing weight. Even losing 5kg may help get your hormones in balance, regulate your menstrual cycle and can make you ovulate.

Respected lybrate-user hi it must be related to constipation induced piles or fissure Avoid all oily spicy nonveg stuffs at all Have more liquids, fibers,fruits, curd for better digestion. Take Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with leuk warm water for 10-10 min mor & eve & additionally after passing stool. Thanks Dear consult later after 1 week.

Hye. Thanks for the query. Depending on the type and level of workout you do, your protein needs may vary anywhere from 1.2 to 1.8 gms per kilograms of body weight. This needs to be assessed taking into consideration your intake, history etc too. But remember it's not all about only protein. Protein has to be in a balance with carbohydrates and fats as well.

Antidepressants at the earliest should be given. Nowadays many new latest drugs are available which can treat his depression that too with minimal/simple side effects. Counselling after few weeks of antidepressants also will help. He should try to be social, follow his hobbies, do some sporting activities etc. By doing these he can overcome depression.

Strength of body that we receive from food does not depend on the quantity of food but we assume but on quality. Your diet should contain all the constituent like carbohydrate protein fat and vitamins. Eat at least one fruit daily and one glass of milk. Also do exercise daily.

Hello doctors. I had c-section after having contractions for almost 2days, before 4months. Am having severe back pain (exactly back to the chest and low back). Also knee pain, joint pain. I should admit i have skipped iron calcium during my pregnancy. I have been identified with hypothyroidism recently. Any medications n exercise? Thanks in advance .

Firstly you should continue taking iron and calcium supplements.For lower back pain do some hot fomentation and few post natal exercises should be done to strengthen back and abdominal muscles. Consult endocrinologist for hypothyroid medicine,dose will decided by the doctor as per your levels.And metabolism slows down so you might put on weight so need to have a balanced diet (since you are lactating) and do mild-moderate exercise or walk.

there is a general approach and a specific approach as per individual patients metabolic profile. i will give you a general approach to try for 4 weeks. If this works then continue. If not enough then consult to get treatmentas per metabolic status. 1. do not eat anything sugary or sweet. 2. eat plenty of salad in lunch and dinner 3. do atleast 30 min of exercise every day of any kind

Not really. The placebos are for the 'red' days. You will need additional protection like condoms during the first 15 days of pills.

Lifting weights in gym is not a casual form of exercise. Need to take proper diet extra protein and carbs under good trainer. Try yoga first for basic fitness first. Be positive, stay healthy.

Weakness may leave you without energy to carry out day-to-day activities, drowsy or tired, sluggish, and uninterested. Other symptoms include excessive sweating, loss of appetite, difficulty concentrating, and difficulty falling asleep. You can feel weak due to lack of essential nutrients, not getting enough sleep, a weak immune system, excessive drinking, skipping meals, emotional stress, and too much physical labor. Persistent weakness can be caused by health problems like anemia, arthritis, hypothyroidism, a sleep disorder, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes and heart disease. In these cases, it is very important to find out the exact cause behind your weakness. To feel energetic and refreshed in life, you must exercise daily for at least 30 minutes, maintain your ideal body weight, follow a good diet, sleep properly, drink water throughout the day to keep your body hydrated, avoid alcohol and stop smoking. Whenever you feel weak, eat one or two bananas. You can also try a banana shake or smoothie. To help strengthen your body and keep from feeling weak, eat a ripe banana with one tablespoon of honey twice daily. Soak two almonds, one dried fig, and a few raisins in water overnight. In the morning, remove the almonds, figs and raisins and drink the water. Peel and eat the almonds, followed by the fig and raisins. Also, carry roasted almonds with you and whenever you feel fatigue or weak, eat some to get instant energy. Whenever you have weakness, drink a cup of warm milk with one teaspoon of honey mixed in it. You can also boil two to three figs in one cup of milk. Eat the boiled figs and drink the milk to gain strength. Alternatively, add one teaspoon of clarified butter to a glass of warm milk. Drink it twice daily to cure weakness caused by excessive loss of blood. Also known as amla, indian gooseberry is a highly nutritious fruit that can improve your energy level. It is a good source of vitamin c, calcium, protein, irons, carbohydrates, and phosphorous. Simply eating one indian gooseberry daily can strengthen a weak immune system.

Take shool vajrini vati and chitrakadi vati 1-1 tab twice a day after lunch and dinner. Pranacharya udar bhaskar kshar churna twice a day with warm water. Take fresh butter milk empty stomach. Avoid spicy food. Junk food. Fermented food.
