Sir/Maam I got physically involved with my girlfriend for the first time on 27th august. For precautions she took ipill (ecp) after 7 hours of intercourse. After four days I.e on 1 September she started bleeding although it was NOT her period date and the bleeding continued for four days. After that with her first morning urine she did four home urine pregnancy test after 21,28, 35 and ,42 days of Intercourse. All the results came NEGATIVE. Her periods had still not started yet. Please tell do we still have to worry about pregnancy? And can these test be wrong even after 42 days of Intercourse. We are very tensed. Please help. ;(

Hello lybrate user- prolonged menses or over flow during menses is known as atyartava disease in ayurveda. It occurs due to improper diet and daily schedule. Try these tips to overcome this diseases- a) avoid salty and spicy foods, avoid fast foods, green leafy vegetable and curd.(these type of foods tends to increase bleeding tendency) b) go to bed before 10 pm. C) increase dairy product other than curd in your diet specially cow's ghee. D) use ashokaristha 2 tsp twice daily with water and tab pistil forte 1 tab twice daily. E) use chandra prabha vati 1 tab twice daily. >you will be surprised by the effect of this treatment. Do share your experience.

If you are asking this question on behalf of your wife then the answer is sometimes benign lumps are noted in female breast which have pain and also grow in premenstrual period. Please see a surgeon for physical examination to rule out fibroadenosis or a tumor.

HI Darshana, Having urine problem and white discharges doesn't qualified you as a diabetic person, but to rule out diabetics you should get you fasting and post lunch blood sugar level done. Hello, You should wit for 7 more days for your periods to come. If they still do not come then please do a urine pregnancy test to confirm pregnancy. If the result is negative then there is no pregnancy. If the result is positive then consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation and management.

My friend has irregular menstrual problem. Since she's been an anemic patient and her periods are getting at least 10 days late than the expected date. She's not serious about it. Is it a serious problem for her now or in future? Her haemoglobin is lower than normal and she's on a liquid diet to reduce her body weight and fat. I hope for some answers. Thank you.

Hello, You should wait for your wife's next periods to come. If they do not come then do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If the result is positive, she is pregnant so visit a gynecologist for further evaluation.

I'm suffering from herpes for last week. I've even consulted with doctor. But it is paining badly even though it is drying. Can it even spread after it is dried up completely?

Normally it doesn't spread once it starts drying up but in some cases new eruptions keep coming side by side old getting dried up so just check whether new ones are coming or they have stopped for pain you can take tab disprin three times a day.
