Visit a dentist and get scaling (cleaning) done, use a mouthwash before bed and brush twice a day. Your problem of bleeding gums and bad breath would heal with in 7-10 days.

On last Friday I was in office party an had drinks more than I usually do. After sometime I went to vomit. First time it was food that came out but second time it was blood with water while vomiting. I thought it was due to chicken which I had or just might be color of it. But yesterday early morning I was in office when I observed small amount of blood in my saliva. It was first time and didn't come again though after that I felt blood coming out of my gums. Nothing comes up after spitting again. Pls suggest.

few advice to stop bleeding gums-- - visit to a dentist for professional cleaning once in a year - use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water to keep the area clean. - Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth.

Hello,Might be your wisdom tooth is on its way to erupt in your mouth. Sometimes there is no space for it to come up or it may be impacted in the bone. So you need to see your dentist first. Meanwhile you can take some pain killer medicine like brufen. Take care.

How much does braces for upper teeth costs? Need to fix only one overlapping tooth.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
Kindly consult an orthodontist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations (model study, full mouth & profile x-ray) & clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need fixed / removable braces. Requirements may depends on the age, complaint, duration of the treatment & affordability. Cost of cosmetic dentistry (braces) varies with dentist.

Hi I am 24 year old girl I am experiencing aa weird situation, 4 teeth are growing in back of my gums and it is really painful what should I do please suggest.

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
Wisdom teeth usually make their appearance between the ages of 17 and 21, though it's possible for them to push through earlier or later. Referred to as your" third molars, these four teeth begin to push through the skin like any other tooth, which can cause pain. However, wisdom teeth are much more likely to grow in at an incorrect angle – even sideways – causing impaction that can radiate this pain to the teeth in front of it.

Hello, I want to express my condition here and hoping to get advice. My age is 21 years old. I often have ulcers in my mouth but this time ulcers on the bottom of mouth (below the tongue. They r in group. I also have yellow bumps on back of my throat and white spots on the top of the mouth. Please help me to diagnose my condition.

BDS
Dentist, Pune
Hello, you can apply baking soda over it or do baking soda in water mouth rinses. This will help to heal your ulcers. If they still persist, you need to consult a physician and get your vitamin B levels checked. If required take supplements for it. Dear Patient please visit a dentist and get the checkup and XRAYS. I am quiet sure it is due to sharp teeth as mentioned by other fellow docotrs which can be rectified by trimming. For any more query or treatment visit us today

I am 21 year old, I recently had severe tooth ache and dentist after x ray said, its bcz 1 of the wisdom teeth which is half grown outside gums and unable to come out completely as there's no space for it. He also said that I need to get all 4 teeth removed some day as there's no space and will cause much pain further. I was said its not immediately necessary to remove tooth but I can go for it when the pain gets worse. But surprisingly after few days the tooth ache has completely gone by itself and I have no other dental problem .what does this mean? Did my tooth grow normal? Do I need to take an x ray to confirm it inspite of no pain at all.

BDS, MDS, Post Graduate Diploma In Hospital Administration (PGDHA)
Dentist, Mumbai
The wisdom tooth errors anytime after 18 years. If the xray that you have taken shows the tooth in an abnormal position (other than straight upright, please have the tooth extracted by the dentist. The previous episode of pain one reason could be that there must be food particles stick between tooth and gums. If the tooth position was not normal it is likely that it will never come up straight. Please take an Xray to confirm. You can also send me a picture of the xray to help you better.

Does cleaning a teeth with salt and lime whitens the teeth? Im having yellow teeth and need to resolve it because it lowers my confidence.

BDS
Dentist, Ghaziabad
Go for scaling and polishing. If the yellowish color is from within the teeth then bleaching will help. Consult your dentist your confidence will b boosted once you will get the tt done.

BDS, MDS - Periodontics, Ph.D.

Bad breath or halitosis can be because of many reasons. It can be intraoral or extra oral. For intra-oral cause, get your teeth checked by a periodontist, and get them cleaned. Try to keep your mouth, gums, and tongue clean and your cavities filled.

Saving a fallen tooth can be useful. Try to keep it in place while you seek immediate medical attention. If that is not the case, try wrapping the tooth in a piece of plastic or soaking it into milk and call for immediate dental service.
