Your weigh may be the problem. You should be around 65 kgs. Try to reduce your weight. If your job is to stand for long time. Follow few tips. * take breaks frequently. *place one foot on a small stool or raised area and alternate with other foot every 20 to 30 minutes gap. If your job is in sitting. Follow this tip. *lie at your back - fill the gap under your lower back so that your lower back rests fully on ground - then raise both your legs (without bending knees) just 5 degrees from ground - repeat it for 5 to 10 counts. Important notice -should not be done by holding breath.

I am having backbone pain from past one year, how to get rid of the pain, please suggest me a right option?
Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take Calc fluor 200--once daily in the morning.

do hot fomentations and put a towel roll under knee and press for 10 second then release repeat 10 to 15 time twice a day. quadriceps exercise. calf stretching exercise and ankle rotation. avoid long standing

In the year 2011 my right leg was broken. At that time I had to do surgery and took steel implant with my leg. Now I have no difficulty for walking. My doctor suggested me not to remove the steel implant. Should I remove the steel implant? Please suggest me with your opinion.

Hip Replacement Surgery - What Should You Expect?

Hip replacement surgery is a method wherein a defective hip joint is removed and replaced with an artificial hip joint. This procedure is only opted for after all the other treatments have failed to yield the desired effects. Hip replacement surgery removes damaged or diseased parts of a hip joint and replaces them with new, man-made parts. The goals of this surgery are to:

  • Relieve pain

  • Help the hip joint work better

  • Improve walking and other movements.

Who Should Have Hip Replacement Surgery?

The most common reason for hip replacement is osteoarthritis in the hip joint. Your doctor might also suggest this surgery if you have:

  1. Rheumatoid arthritis (a disease that causes joint pain, stiffness, and swelling)

  2. Osteonecrosis (a disease that causes the bone in joints to die)

  3. Injury of the hip joint

  4. Bone tumors that break down the hip joint.

Your doctor will likely suggest other treatments first, including:

  1. Walking aids, such as a cane

  2. An exercise program

  3. Physical therapy

  4. Medications.

These treatments may decrease hip pain and improve function. Sometimes the pain remains and makes daily activities hard to do. In this case, your doctor may order an x ray to look at the damage to the joint. If the x ray shows damage and your hip joint hurts, you may need a hip replacement.

The Procedure

Hip replacement surgery is a procedure that can either be performed by traditional means or a minimally invasive procedure. The primary difference between the two procedures is the size of the incision. The procedure begins with the doctor administering local anesthesia, though in certain cases, general anesthesia is also administered.

  1. An incision is then made along the hip and the muscles that are connected to the thigh bone are shifted, so that the hip joint is exposed.

  2. An equipment is then used to remove the ball socket of the joint by cutting the thighbone.

  3. The artificial joint is then fixed to the thighbone and it is allowed to adhere properly.

  4. Once the joint is fixed, the ball of the thighbone is then put in the hip socket.

  5. The fluids from the incision area are then allowed to drain.

  6. The hip muscles are then put in place and the incision is closed.

Post -surgery

After the surgery, the recovery stage begins. The period of hospital stay post-surgery usually lasts for 4-6 days. A drainage tube is attached to the bladder to get rid of waste products from the body. Physical therapy begins immediately after the surgery and you will be able to walk after a few days with walking aids. The physical therapy continues for a few months after the surgery.

After care

It is advised to avoid activities that involve twisting your leg for at least half a year. You should also avoid crossing the leg along the mid portion of your body. Your physiotherapist will provide you with exercises that aid to help you recover. Avoid climbing stairs and sit on chairs that have strong back support. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Orthopedist.

Hi consult orthopaedic doctor for repositioning joint. After the shoulder bone is repositioned by orthopaedic doctor, you can start physiotherapy treatment to reduce pain and swelling. 1) ice your shoulder to reduce pain and swelling. Do it for 20-30 minutes every three to four hours, for 2 to 3 days or longer. 2) use a sling or shoulder immobilizer to prevent further injury. 3) take medicines as prescribed by doctor. 4) practice stretching and strengthening exercises as prescribed by physiotherapist.

Kindly show me a photograph & digital x rays of ls spine. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

U don't do heavy work and do rest some days you can do yoga & some more exercise but heating paid must you don't sitting long time like 1-2 hours in this time some brack some min. Don't wear high heels it's also do back pain don't drive any weeklies it's also do pain in back, calf, thige & foot so you can do rest some days you can take physiotherapy also a week or more days then you feel batter.

I am giving some health tips for Migraine headache ?1.You can turn off light for some time ?2.Apply hot or cold compresses to your head or neck. ?Ice packs have a numbing effect, which may dull the sensation of pain. ?Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. ? ?3.Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect. ?4.You can take Tea or coffee( but not excess) 5.Sleep well Here are some tips to encourage sound sleep. Establish regular sleep hours. ?Minimize distractions. ?Your eating habits can influence your migraines. ?Be consistent. Eat at about the same time every day. Don't skip meals. Fasting increases the risk of migraines Avoid foods that trigger migraines kindly consult Physician for further management LEG PAIN: 1.You can take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg one tablet stat after food 2.You Can do Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days I am giving to some common reasons for LEG PAIN 1. generalized weakness 2. Anaemia 3. physical exertion and any Trauma 4. lack of protein in Diet 5. any infection present on leg or foot 6. muscle weakness 7 abrupt start/ stop of physical exercise 8. Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation. Self massage the back of neck. Use cervical pillow.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot fomentation twice a day. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 after lunch and dinner. Avoid fermented food. Spicy food. Junk food. Eat green vegetables. Fuits. Drink minimum 7-8 glass of water everyday. Sleep for 7 hrs minimum. Do pranayama early morning. And do exercises.

I have got Achilles Tendonitis (severe pain in my Achilles tendon at the back of left foot) due to car driving and using the clutch excessively, I have not had any injury. You should take Mag Phos 12 x - thrice daily (4 tablets). Additional dose for pain when required. You should also do hot and cold compress alternately till the time you get relief. If this does not helps you - do visit a Doctor to do an examination of the affected area and if require an X-ray also. For further queries get back to me.
