I have dry cough from 1 year. Sometimes it is not there Cough increases when I eat banana and when I do jogging. I think my chest is blocked. I took m-dryl expectorant last night it increased my cough frequency.

CHEST PAIN in your case may be due to 1.acidity. 2. severe anxiety 3. Any Chest infection you should go for BP check along with Baseline ECG and review with report Do you have Recurrent cough/ cold also? Consult privately for further managment

Look for your foodstyle n lifestyle. Means taking more of fried, spicy, junk foods, meda products, mor tea n coffee or if even skipping meals. With sedentary lifestyle can b the cause of it. Don't drink water just after or between meals. Take homoeopathic treatment if still problem persists.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

1. Schedule a Yearly Checkup Your heart is in your hands. Each year on your birthday, schedule a checkup to have your blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels checked, and ask your doctor to help you reach or maintain a healthy weight 2. Get Physical Step, march or jog in place for at least 15 minutes a day while watching your favorite TV shows. Increase your activity by five minutes each week until you're getting a minimum of 30 minutes most days of the week. 3. Drink More Water Take a water bottle with you wherever you go. It'll keep you hydrated and the bottle's weight will strengthen your arms. 4. Eat Healthy Keep packages of unhealthy food hidden. Put raw veggies and fruits in front in the refrigerator and healthy snacks in the front of the pantry, so that's what you see first. If you grab healthy foods for a minimum of 21 times, healthy choices will become a habit. 5. Control Cholesterol Eating foods high in saturated fat, trans fat or cholesterol can lead to high blood cholesterol. To help keep your cholesterol levels down, eat foods low in saturated fat and trans fat, such as lean chicken or turkey (roasted or baked, with skin removed), fruits and veggies, low-fat or fat-free dairy products and whole grains. 6. Cut Down on Salt To help lower high blood pressure, watch your salt intake. It may be disguised in food labels as sodium alginate, sodium sulfite, sodium caseinate, disodium phosphate, sodium benzoate, sodium hydroxide, monosodium glutamate (MSG), or sodium citrate. 7. Quit Smoking Try this four-step way to kick your habit: • On Day 1, cut the number of cigarettes you smoke by half • On Day 3, cut the number of cigarettes you smoke in half again • And on Day 5, cut your smoking in half again • On your Quit Day... quit! 8. Maintain a Healthy Weight Excess weight increases your risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes. To achieve steady, painless weight loss, take it easy. Each day, if you eat 200-300 calories less than you would normally consume, and exercise at least 30 minutes on most or all days of the week, you'll get closer to your goal and be able to achieve weight loss that's steady and painless. 9. Stay Positive If you get off your exercise schedule, have a cigarette, or eat a fattening meal, immediately get back on track toward re-establishing a healthy lifestyle. 10. Give Yourself Credit To maintain momentum with exercising, losing weight, or quitting smoking, keep track of your achievements and reward yourself by doing something you enjoy.

Hello sir. As you did not mentioned the blood sugar value & blood pressure. For blood sugar have 1 full spoon turmeric and 1 full spoon amalaki (gooseberry) choorna paste (add some water) at early morning on empty stomach daily. Drink coconut shell boiled water. For blood pressure reduce salt, deep fried, tinned food items. Drink milk boiled with crushed garlic (5-6 in no) empty stomach early morning, consult with an ayurvedic physician for the same.

1.For your age pain chest could be due to anxiety, stress,Physical and mental strain, hyper acidity or muscle pull 2. Avoid stress and strain 3.Do regular exercise, Yoga, Meditation, deep breathing exercise like pranayama etc. It will calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 4 Avoid Alcohol, smoking and tobacco consumption. 5.Take paracetamol 500mg one tablet sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily, at the time of chest pain.6. Drink plenty of water and take rest .7.if you have recurrent attack of chest pain take ECG and consult cardiologist

I am on 16 units of huminsulin 30/70 in the morning and 12 units in the evening. Also glycomet 500 mg after Breakfast and after dinner. Started insulin 3 months back as glcoslated was 10.2. Now fasting and pp is within range. Is this combination OK?

Dear Salav, No need for medication for this kind of lipid abnormality. only need to modify your diet.less sugar or carbohydrates& fat & more of fibre & protein will normalise it. Regular walk or exercise for at least 30 minutes will further improve it

I get head pressure on the left side of my head. When stressed due to work it is severe otherwise mild. This is since last 2 years. It started with a crawling sensation in the left side of face, temple and head. Now crawling is not felt but heaviness and pressure is constant. It goes only when I am deeply relaxed. My doctor gave me Ciplar LA 20 to have one pill daily in February so I am having it regularly but it hardly helps. Please help me.

Your symptoms are suggestive of tension type of headache. This usually occurs due to unresolved stress and increased muscle tension in head. Relaxation exercises like deep breathing, yoga and meditation can surely help. Medications may also be required at times. Sir please monitor your BP morning and evening at home. Continue medicines, and follow Low salt intake, daily morning Excercise or walk .Also ECG to be done for chest pain. Check your Sugar.
