Hi, haircare involves: 1) well balanced diet with increased intake of proteins like pulses, chicken, milk, eggs, paneer, nutrella. 2) hair treatment: a) oil your hair regularly with coconut oil. Add 1 egg in the hairoil. B) do not comb wet hair. C) use wide toothed comb to remove entangles. D) use a good conditioner after shampoo or hair cholestrol to give your hair lustre. E) do not experiment with your hair like blowdry, hair highlighting. F) comb 3-4 times daily, if using a helmet wash your helmet once a week. G) use arnica shamoo.

It can be a problem of tmj. Common symptoms include: •Pain or tenderness in your face, jaw joint area, neck and shoulders, and in or around the ear when you chew, speak, or open your mouth wide •Problems when you try to open your mouth wide •Jaws that get" stuck" or" lock" in the open- or closed-mouth position •Clicking, popping, or grating sounds in the jaw joint when you open or close your mouth or chew. This may or may not be painful. •A tired feeling in your face •Trouble chewing or a sudden uncomfortable bite -- as if the upper and lower teeth are not fitting together properly •Swelling on the side of your face You may also have toothaches, headaches, neck aches, dizziness, earaches, hearing problems, upper shoulder pain, and ringing in the ears (tinnitus). Home Treatments for TMD Home Treatments for TMD There are things you can do on your own to help relieve TMD symptoms. Your doctor may suggest you try some of these remedies together. •Use moist heat or cold packs. Apply an ice pack to the side of your face and temple area for about 10 minutes. Do a few simple jaw stretches (if your dentist or physical therapist OKs them). When you’re done, hold a warm towel or washcloth to the side of your face for about 5 minutes. Perform this routine a few times each day. •Eat soft foods. Add yogurt, mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, soup, scrambled eggs, fish, cooked fruits and vegetables, beans, and grains to your menu. Cut foods into small pieces so you chew less. Skip hard, crunchy foods (like pretzels and raw carrots), chewy foods (like caramels and taffy), and thick or large bites that require you to open wide. •Avoid extreme jaw movements. Keep yawning and chewing (especially gum or ice) to a minimum and don’t yell, sing, or do anything that forces you to open wide. •Don't rest your chin on your hand. Don’t hold the phone between your shoulder and ear. Practice good posture to reduce neck and facial pain. •Keep your teeth slightly apart as often as you can. This will relieve pressure on your jaw. Put your tongue between your teeth to control clenching or grinding during the day. •Learn relaxation techniques to help loosen up your jaw. Ask your dentist if you need physical therapy or massage. Consider stress reduction therapy as well as biofeedback. TREATMENT PRESCRIBED BY A DENTIST •Medications. Your dentist can prescribe higher doses of NSAIDs if you need them for pain and swelling. He might suggest a muscle relaxer to relax your jaw if you grind or clench your teeth. Or an anti-anxiety medication to relieve stress, which may bring on TMD. In low doses they can also help reduce or control pain. Muscle relaxants, anti-anxiety drugs, and antidepressants are available by prescription only. •A splint or night guard. These plastic mouthpieces fit over your upper and lower teeth so they don’t touch. They lessen the effects of clenching or grinding and correct your bite by putting your teeth in a more correct position. What’s the difference between them? You wear night guards while you sleep. You use a splint all the time. Your dentist will tell you which type you need. •Dental work. Your dentist can replace missing teeth and use crowns, bridges, or braces to balance the biting surfaces of your teeth or to correct a bite problem. Other Treatments.

As I have read regarding the benefits of beer , one doubt has struck in my mind. Beer is considered to be a alcoholic beverage which in over doses may produce unnecessary actions on the body and the person is unconscious of what he is doing? if alcohol taken in small quantity...it is not injurious for health...but its quality should be very good..in ayurveda asava and arishta contain alcohol and they are used as medicines in various diseases..

Hello, Take Schwabe’s Alpha-CF and Biocombination-11, both after every 2 hourly for 4 days. Management: -Sponging or bathing with tepid water. The use of a fan or air conditioning may somewhat reduce the temperature and increase comfort. It may be leucoderma and tinea versicolor occurs when pityrosporum ovale grows rapidly on the surface of the skin. There are some factors that may promote the growth of this yeast on the skin, hot and humid weather, excessive sweating, oily skin, having a weakened immune system, hormonal changes. Take some precautions to remove these factors and use anti-fungal treatment.

There can be no fat loss if you are not following a nutrition program and exercising. These 2 are a must. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don’t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Remember, there's no magic bullet for weight loss. The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume. Choose a variety of healthy foods — such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean sources of protein — and include physical activity in your daily routine. Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.

A high-salt diet may increase the risk of developing gastric and duodenal ulcers. High concentrations of salt in the stomach can induce gene activity in the ulcer-causing Helicobacter pylori bacterium that causes it to become more virulent. Bacterial cells exposed to increased salt exhibit striking morphological changes. Cells become elongated and form long chains.

Salt restriction also reduces the diastolic blood pressure by 2-8 mmHg, said Padma Shri Awardee Dr. (Prof.) A. Marthanda Pillai, National President, IMA and Padma Shri, Dr. B C Roy National Awardee & DST National Science Communication Awardee, Dr KK Aggarwal, President Heart Care Foundation of India and Honorary Secretary General IMA.

According to a WHO report, reducing salt intake would be a cost-effective way to reduce the risk of developing high blood pressure directly and reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke indirectly. The report recommends people to reduce consumption of sodium to less than 2 gm per day for each person. Common salt is chemically called sodium chloride (NaCl). About 2.5 gm of table salt contains one gm of sodium.

According to a report published from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the year 2000, the average intake of salt in India is 10 gm per day for each person. This would amount to about 4 gm of sodium. The current recommendations suggest reducing this consumption by half.

A research study conducted by researchers at Harvard Medical School and published in the British Medical Journal, found that reducing salt intake by 25% reduced the risk of developing heart disease by 25% and reduced the chance of death from heart disease by 20%.

In 2002, WHO estimated that about 62% of strokes and about 50% of heart attacks globally were attributable to high blood pressure.

Adding a pinch of salt to milk will keep it fresh longer is a common Internet tip for the population but traditional Ayurveda teaching goes against it. As per Charaka Samhita, too much of pipalli, alkali and salt are bad for the health. Ayurveda totally prohibits taking salt with the milk.

For gaining weight your digestive power must be strong so that intestines could absorb the nutrients properly. Take plenty of fresh water, fresh vegetables, fruits, dry fruits, buffalo milk and milk products. Take good sound sleep at least for 7 hrs a day. Do body massage with olive oil or sesame oil 2-3 times a week. As your appetite is low, first you start taking chitrakadi vati. One tablet three times a day after each meal with lukewarm water for seven days and after that start following herbal formula: ashwagandhadi churna + dhatupaustic churna+ musli churna+ powder of soya chunks, mix all thoroughly in equal quantity, and, take one tea spoon twice a day with one glass milk. Also take lavanbhaskar churna 3 gms twice a day after main meals with lukewarm water.

I am 52 years old and I have got surgery regarding removing our uterus at 35 old. Some times I have been discharging like 1 or 2 drops blood lightly when I feel stressed or taking spicy food but I don't have any pain or burning. My weight is 50 and I have high BP. For making chubby cheeks few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.
