Hi dear, Jaggery and poha are good in iron. You are getting sufficien iron. I suggest your bhabhi to prefer foods like apple, anar, red cabbage, broccoli, some raisins in morning, beet root etc for her iron because she is overweight; and poha contain carbs and Jaggery have high sugar contain I should also recommended her to follow some healthy diet charts to loose her excess body weight.

1.Sudden High Fever, Severe Headache 2.Severe Bone and Joint Pain, Pain behind eyes 3.Fatigue, Nausea and vomiting, pain abdomen, loss of appetite 4.Skin rash may appear 2-5 days after fever 5.Blood platelet count is low and Dengue Antigen test (NS1) is positive Chikungunya A viral fever transmitted by infected female Aedes aegypti mosquito. Cl/f- similar to dengue-abrupt onset of fever with joint pain/swelling, headache,muscle pain, Skin rash. Mostly the symptoms subside within a week. In some joint pain may persist for months/years. Treatment- symptomatic with paracetamol, fluid, rest. Diagnosis- serological test by ELISA (IgG/IgM anti chickengunya antibody), Virological test by RT PCR (real time PCR for viral load) Prevention-anti mosquito measure.

Dear lybrate-user it just means that you are exercising more than what your body can tolerate please reduce the weights reduce the number of cycles start with less cycles and low weights you can gradually increase the weights and cycles please don't take any tablets at the moment follow my advices for the next three weeks and you will mostly find that your problem is solved if you still have pain, let me know.

Home remedy for chronic constipation n flatulence- bel's pulp (bilva, aegle marmelos)- 100 gm sonf - 100 gm isabgol - 100 gm cardamom (small) - 100 gm mix all well with sugar (300 gm)- store this granulated powder well. Consume 10 gm in morning before breakfast with lukewarm water. Repeat 10 gm at night after meals with lukewarm water. It is possible that you are undergoing a spurt in the growth hormone and male sex hormone. The former will make you feel a lot of exhaustion and sleepiness. You are going through the final phase of adolescence and this sleepiness you talk about are expected. During this time there will be a spurt in the production of the male sex hormone, testosterone, which has a duration of two years. Due to this chemical alone there are three identified features that present itself over which you will have poor control: you will be sexually active, aggressive and rebellious, and you will have acne and pimple problems. Then if you have unresolved childhood issues, they will compound the situation and fuel uncontrolled behavior. Please remember that you may not be aware of all this. Exercise will channelize a lot of your energy and help you to deal with the situation better. Meditation will also help. Make sure you get good sleep, a minimum of 8 hours and do not exceed 9 hours. Talk to a counselor, if there are unresolved childhood issues. For concentration do some of these recommendations very faithfully: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem-solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning, at least, five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position, you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There is some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food. You may also include these noted foods that are good for your brain health: Brain-Friendly Foods MIND stands for Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay. But the MIND approach “specifically includes foods and nutrients that medical literature and data show to be good for the brain, such as berries,” says Martha Clare Morris, ScD, director of nutrition and nutritional epidemiology at Rush University Medical Center. You eat things from these 10 food groups: •Green leafy vegetables (like spinach and salad greens): At least six servings a week •Other vegetables: At least one a day •Nuts: Five servings a week •Berries: Two or more servings a week •Beans: At least three servings a week •Whole grains: Three or more servings a day •Fish: Once a week •Poultry (like chicken or turkey): Two times a week •Olive oil: Use it as your main cooking oil. •Wine: One glass a day You avoid: •Red meat: Less than four servings a week •Butter and margarine: Less than a tablespoon daily •Cheese: Less than one serving a week •Pastries and sweets: Less than five servings a week •Fried or fast food: Less than one serving a week.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Avoid constipation & straining at stools - have more if fruits & vegetables including green leafy & seasonal ones, whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice, corn, oats, legumes including beans, lentils, pulses, also sprouts, nuts - avoid, fried, spicy, processed & junk food - have 8-10 glasses o water & other fluids - apply Smuth antihemorrhoidal cream before & after defecation - mix 1 tablespoon of isabgol in a glass of warm water & have twice a day - do sitz bath (sit in warm water) for 10-15 min 2-3 times a day.

My age is 28 last two year detected with high blood sugar. Which was controlled by exercise. But last two months it was around 220 average. And now again it is normal. Due to exercise. But when every time I check for urine sugar level after food it shows ++.even though if blood sugar level is 150 or below. Is it a severe kidney problem. And from last one week I am noticing layer of foam forming when I urinate directly on water in sink in morning. But it very less when I do in other time. Sir is my kidney ia all right. My cholesterol was also high. And I am in anxiety.

Mr. lybrate-user, It appears you have developed T2 diabetes, hence, there is glucose noticed in urine. Glucose in urine is seen only when blood glucose levels go beyond 180 mg. Exercise and diet control helps in controlling pre-diabetic condition. However, if diabetes has developed (Fasting 126 mg and above, PP 200 mg and above & HbA1c%6.5 and above), then only exercise and diet do not help. Drug treatment is a must along with diet and exercise. As regards high cholesterol, diabetes also causes dyslipidemia. Therefore, you need to start appropriate treatment and bring blood glucose under control with fasting closer to 100 mg & PP 150 to 160 mg. Thanks.

Hello, I am giving you some tips for sound sleep and early awaking in morning follow advises given below: 1. Strict to sleep time schedule 2. Do regular physical activity 3. Regular meditation/ yoga, i can give you address of rajyoga meditation center near your house (this is free of cost) One thing i want to tell you that if you can relax your mind by Rajyoga meditation than you can reduce your sleep upto 5-6 hour and you will feel fresh and active 4. Avoid tea coffee after 7 pm 5. You can wash your face and feet at bedtime 6. Avoid daytime sleep 7. You can use alarm and gradually reduce your waking time by 15 minutes Consult me if symptom persist

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem kindly follow advises given below: you can take: 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.
