Use contact lens for that on occasions. However, lasik is best and safe option to go for. The procedure takes hardly 15 minutes to complete and has least chances of complications. Its also cheaper nowadays.

Please follow the tips below to improve your memory and concentration. The key to becoming a successful student is learning how to study smarter, not harder. This becomes more and more true as you advance in your education. An hour or two of studying a day is usually sufficient to make it through high school with satisfactory grades, but when college arrives, there aren't enough hours in the day to get all your studying in if you don't know how to study smarter. While some students are able to breeze through school with minimal effort, this is the exception. The vast majority of successful students achieve their success by developing and applying effective study habits. The following are the top 10 study habits employed by highly successful students. So if you want to become a succesful student, don't get discouraged, don't give up, just work to develop each of the study habits below and you'll see your grades go up, your knowledge increase, and your ability to learn and assimilate information improve. 1. Don't attempt to cram all your studying into one session. Ever find yourself up late at night spending more energy trying to keep your eyelids open than you are studying? if so, it's time for a change. Successful students typically space their work out over shorter periods of time and rarely try to cram all of their studying into just one or two sessions. If you want to become a successful student then you need to learn to be consistent in your studies and to have regular, yet shorter, study periods. 2. Plan when you're going to study. Successful students schedule specific times throughout the week when they are going to study -- and then they stick with their schedule. Students who study inconsistently usually do not perform as well as students who have a set study schedule. Even if you're all caught up with your studies, creating a weekly routine, where you set aside a period of time a few days a week, to review your courses will ensure you develop habits that will enable you to succeed in your education long term. 3. Study at the same time. Not only is it important that you plan when you're going to study, it's important you create a consistent, daily study routine. When you study at the same time each day and each week, you're studying will become a regular part of your life. You'll be mentally and emotionally more prepared for each study session and each study session will become more productive. If you have to change your schedule from time to time due to unexpected events, that's okay, but get back on your routine as soon as the event has passed. 4. Each study time should have a specific goal. Simply studying without direction is not effective. You need to know exactly what you need to accomplish during each study session. Before you start studying, set a study session goal that supports your overall academic goal (i. E. Memorize 30 vocabulary words in order to ace the vocabulary section on an upcoming language test.) 5. Never procrasitinate your planned study session. It's very easy, and common, to put off your study session because of lack of interest in the subject, because you have other things you need to get done, or just because the assignment is hard. Successful students do not procrastinate studying. If you procrastinate your study session, your studying will become much less effective and you may not get everything accomplished that you need to. Procrastination also leads to rushing, and rushing is the number one cause of errors. 6. Start with the most difficult subject first. As your most diffult assignment or subject will require the most effort and mental energy, you should start with it first. Once you've completed the most difficult work, it will be much easier to complete the rest of your work. Believe it or not, starting with the most difficult subject will greatly improve the effectiveness of your study sessions, and your academic performance. 7. Always review your notes before starting an assigment. Obviously, before you can review your notes you must first have notes to review. Always make sure to take good notes in class. Before you start each study session, and before you start a particular assignment, review your notes thoroughly to make sure you know how to complete the assignment correctly. Reviewing your notes before each study session will help you remember important subject matter learned during the day, and make sure studying targeted and effective. 8. Make sure you're not distracted whiles you're studying. Everyone gets distracted by something. Maybe it's the tv. Or your family. Or maybe it's too quiet. Some people actually study better with a little background noise. When you're distracted while you're studying you (1) loose your train of thought and (2) you're unable to focus -- both of which will lead to very ineffective studying. Before you start studying find a place where you won't be disturbed or distracted. Some students like the library where it is quiet and books around you to help focus. 9. Use study groups effectively. Ever heard the phrase" two heads are better than one" well this can be especially true when it comes to studying. Working in groups enables you to (1) get help from others when you're struggling to understand a concept, (2) complete assignments more quickly, and (3) teach others whereby helping both the other students and yourselve to internalize the subject matter. However, study groups can become very ineffective if they're not structured and if groups members come unprepared. Effective students use study groups effectively. 10. Review your notes, schoolwork and other class materials over the weekend. Successful students review what they've learned during the week over the weekend. This way they're well prepared to continue learning new concepts that build upon previous coursework and knowledge acquired the previous week. If you are not able to do stress management on your own then you should see a counselor and learn tips in stress management. For watering eyes please meet an eye doctor plus give enough rest to your eyes by taking frequent breaks from studying.

Dear lybrate user, red eyes could be because of many reasons but commonly it is due to allergy or infection. You need to visit eye specialist to differentiate between the two as the treatment is different. Also get your eyes checked for any glass power.

For avoiding allergy, exposure to allergens should be avoided which is not possible as we r not aware exactly which particle is causing the allergy. You can start with naphazoline eye drop three times a day along with olopatidine eye drop one drop two times a day for 2 weeks. Along with all this always clean your eyes with clean water and wear dark googles outside. If there is no relief in 2 weeks then milder steroid has to be added.

Puffiness beneath the eyelids has various causes associated with it. (1) age related distribution of fat. With progressive time and age there occurs a re-distribution of a lot of body fat. This may lead to puffiness/ sagging/ bagginess of the lower eyelids. (2) excessive alcohol consumption has at times seen to be associated with puffiness of eyelids. (3) hypersensitivity/ allergy of the eyes may cause puffiness. It may be caused due to dust, pollen, insect bite, etc. (4) thyroid level fluctuation has at times been seen to be associated with puffiness of eyelids. (5) excessive obesity has been shown to be associated with puffiness of eyelids. (6) extreme condition such as orbital cellulitis: very rare. Also, it is usually associated with eye injury, surgery, systemic infection, etc. It is very less likely to be so in your case. (7) grave's disease: this has a tendency to be associated with thyroid disease (or other autoimmune conditions). It s also rare. It is associated with fatigue and weakness that progresses throughout the day. Thus, it would be a good idea to identify in the category that you come into and then tackle the situation. just do hot fomentation.. dip a clean handkerchief in lukewarm water. and keep it over closed eye lids over the sweling for 2 minutes ..do this twice A day.. also continue the eye drop you have mentioned 4 times a day

Hello this may be due to dryness you can 1. Blink a lot 2. Wash eyes with fresh water 3. Cold compresses 4. Use lubricating eye drop like flogel This is a provisional diagnosis. Consult for detailed examination.

When I see computer screen my eyes start to strain. I have consulted eye doctor he gave me. 0.5 both eyes with 180 axis cylindrical. I am using 0.75 left and 0.5 right with 180 could. Why my eyes strain and I feel my head aching very often like when I'm walking or running it starts to shake with slight pain as if of some wound. Do help please.

Hello csr usually resolves without any treatment so we usually wait for 4 months foe spontaneous resolution but if it does not resolve then we can do laser.

Some people who have a minimal refractive error will often get away without wearing glasses, but when working on a computer screen or doing a lot of concentrated work, the small prescription can begin to cause symptoms and under these circumstances correcting the prescription with glasses can be helpful. An anti-reflection coating (ultraclear) is often advised to reduce the annoying reflections of light from the lens surfaces. If your eyes are fine and normal then there is no proven glasses that can be prescribed to help. However, some people find that wearing glasses with a tint that absorbs the blue spectrum of light makes vision more comfortable. They are usually tinted a yellow colour. A common problem when working on a screen for long periods is'dry eye. This is because concentrated work tends to reduce the blink reflex that replenishes the tears, and the dry atmosphere and lack of fresh air adds to the problem of insufficent tears. Allowing the cornea to become dry can cause irritation and blurred and variable vision. Use some lubricating eye drops like refresh tears, use them at least 4 times a day at least. You do need to look at every aspect of your work environment also. Use proper lighting, dont work in dim conditions should use table and chair. Your table should be of proper height so that you dont have to bend too much. Take rest after 30 mins for few mins, put the tear drops and work again. Do blink intermittently.

Hello you can take Arnica 200 CH , 5 drops in the morning and Hypericum 200 , 5 drops at night. Use Euphrasia 10 % , eye drop, 2 drop in each eye twice daily. Revert after 7 days.

I'm a 16 year old male and I think that my eyes are shrinking. I don't know how to express it but what I mean to say is I feel that my eyes have gone deeper inside the socket. I can feel the edge of my eye socket of if touch the lower part of it. My skin near my eyes are also becoming lose. This is a great question, and one that is commonly asked and sought out in consultation. That hollow area beneath your eye, near your nose, is called a nasojugal groove or a" tear trough. They can often extend laterally, toward your temples and the outside of your eye, as an orbitomalar groove. This can become more prominent with age, but often do exist in younger patients with a genetic predisposition. The underlying cause is often both soft tissue and bone related. Fortunately, there are good options for correction. In the past, implants in this area had been very popular, but the current trend in cosmetics is that implants are being replaced with fillers that have significantly longer durations and better outcomes. Fillers have the main benefits of very little risk when compared with the surgical procedure of an implant and the long-term complications that all too often force those implants to get removed. Get your refraction done and wear spectacles Eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These are few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which can increase your eyesight. You can also go for contact lens or refractive surgeries.

I am 23 years old working man. I use to face screen on an avg. 12hrs a day (computer in office 8hrs and phone 4hours) Now a days I believe I am addicted of watching porn which cause decrease in my health, even I noticed my vision is also effected. Working on computer at a stretch for long hours puts a great strain on your eyes and thatswhy your eye are itching and watering.Your problemis aggravated by masturbation habit as frequent massturbation causes nervous weakness and you will remain exhausted and worn out all the time.So you must control watching porm and massturbation. Hello, get your eyes tested from an opthalmologist. Include the following for getting better vision: vitamins a, c, e, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. Dha is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for strengthening eye muscles: -begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds. -one helpful way to do this is to imagine that you are looking at the number 12 on a clock. Then, follow the numbers around the clock with your eyes. Repeat going the other way around the clock. -massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the midpoint of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose. -take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Take physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month and instill euphrasia eye drops twice a day. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.
