वैसे तो एनीमिया कोई बहुत बड़ी बीमारी नहीं है, मगर ये कई बड़ी और जानलेवा बीमारियों की वजह से जरूर हो सकती है। यह बीमारी पुरुषों की अपेक्षा महिलाओं में ज्यादा देखी जाती है। हमारे देश की लगभग 90 प्रतिशत महिलाएं एनीमिया से पीड़ित हैं। एनीमिया को लोग सामान्य मानकर अनदेखा कर देते हैं, जबकिम इस स्थिसतिब से जान तक जा सकती है। सामान्य भाषा में बात करे तो खून में आयरन की कमी से हीमोग्लोबिन की कमी हो जाती है, जिसे हम एनीमिया के नाम से जानते हैं।  

आयरन की कमी है मुख्य वजह 
विज्ञान की भाषा में इसे ऐसे समझा जा सकता है किम हमारा शरीर तीन तरह की ब्लड सेल्स बनाता है- आरबीसी यानी श्वेत रुधि र कणिका, डब्ल्यूबीसी या श्वेत रुधिर कणिका और प्लेटलेट्स। डब्ल्यूबीसी शरीर को बाहरी संक्रमण से बचाती हैं। प्लेटलेट्स रक्त का थक्का जमाने में मदद करती हैं और आरबीसी का काम आपके पूरे शरीर को ऑक्सीजन पहुंचाना है। हमारे शरीर की कोशिकाओं को एक्टिव रहने के लिए ऑक्सीजन की जरूरत होती है। ये ऑक्सीजन शरीर के अलग-अलग भागों में आरबीसी में मौजूद हीमोग्लोबिरन की मदद से पहुंचता है। आयरन हमारे शरीर में आरबीसी का निर्माण करता है। आयरन की कमी से आरबीसी और हीमोग्लोबिलन बनने की क्रिया प्रभावित होती है। इसके प्रभावति होने से कोशिकाओं तक ऑक्सीजन नहीं पहुंच पाता। हम खाने के रूप में जो कार्बोहाइड्रेट और वसा लेते हैं, ऑक्सीजन उसे जलाकर ऊर्जा पैदा करता है। ये ऊर्जा हमारे जीवन के लिंए जरूरी है। जब शरीर में आयरन की इतनी कमी हो जाए कि शरीर और दिमाग की काम करने की क्षमता प्रभावित होने लगे, तो इस स्थितिल को एनीमिया या रक्तअल्पता कहते हैं।

एनीमिया के कारण 
शरीर में जरूरी पोषक तत्वों की कमी के अलावा इसके पीछे कोई गंभीर बीमारी भी हो सकती है। एनीमिया रक्त से जुड़ी समस्या है। इसके कारण भी अलग-अलग हो सकते हैं। जैसे- रक्त में आरबीसी का कम बनना, हेमरेज या ज्यादा खून बह जाना, आयरन की कमी, विटामिन बी 12 या फोलिक एसिड की कमी। खाने में ज्यादा मात्रा में कैल्शिगयम लेना। हरी सब्जिियां कम या बिल्कुल न खाना। किसी इन्फेक्शन या लंबी बीमारी के चलते भी एनीमिया के लक्षण दिखाई दे सकते हैं।  इसके साथ ही माहवारी (पीरियड्स) के दिनों में बहुत ज्यादा स्राव भी एक वजह हो सकती है। वहीं इसके पीछे अनुवांशिक कारण भी हो सकता है। यहां देखें और वजहें.

1. गंभीर बीमारियों से हुआ एनीमिेया: 
कैंसर, एड्स, किडनी की समस्या और रुमेटाइड अर्थराइटिीस जैसी बीमारियों के जलते आरबीसी का निर्माण प्रभावित होता है।
2. ए-प्लास्टिक एनीमिया: 
इन्फेक्शन, हानिकारक पदार्थों का प्रभाव और कुछ दवाओं के प्रभाव से भी ये बीमारी हो सकती है। ए-प्लास्टििक एनीमिया बहुत कम केसों में होता है, लेकिन ये जानलेवा बीमारी है।

एनीमिया के लक्षण 
एनीमिया होने पर आपके शरीर में ऊर्जा की कमी हो जाती है। ऐसे में कमजोरी और थकान महसूस होती है। अगर लगातार एनीमिया रहे तो न्यूरोलॉजिकल गड़बड़िभयां देखने को मिलती हैं। बच्चों में पेट में कीड़े होने पर उनमें एनीमिया की शिकायत देखने को मिलती है। ऐसे में वह चिड़चिड़े हो जाते हैं और रोते रहते हैं। एनीमिया में सांस लेने में दिक्कत होती है और कमजोरी से चक्कर भी आ सकता है। लगातार एनीमिया रहने पर सिरदर्द, पैरों मे दर्द, जीभ में जलन, हल्का बुखार, गला सूकना, बाल गिरना, मुंह में छाले पड़ना, नाखून पीले पड़ जाना और सीने में दर्द जैसी शिकायतें भी मिलती हैं।

तुरंत कराएं जांच 

अगर आपको इनमें से कोई भी लक्षण दिखाई दें, तो डॉक्टर की सलाह लेकर ब्लड टेस्ट कराएं। महिलाओं में आजमाएं ये उपाय: 
खाने में ऐसी चीजें शामिल करें जिनमें आयरन प्रचुर मात्रा में पाया जाता हो। इसके लिेए चुकंदर, गाजर, टमाटर, पत्तागोभी, हरी सब्जिियां अपनी डाइट में शामिल करें।

  • अगर मांसाहारी हों तो खाने में अंडा लें। मूंग की दाल और बाजरा भी काफी फायदेमंद होता है।
  • ऐसा माना जाता है किल लोहे की कढ़ाई में खाना पकाकर खाने से भी शरीर को आयरन मिलता है।
  • रोजाना सेव डायट में शामिल करें। दूध और केला भी पोषक तत्वों की कमी को पूरा करता है।
  • ज्यादा मात्रा में कैल्शिलयम भी हानिकारक होता है। बाजार में आयरन की गोलियां मिलती हैं लेकिन अपने आप इनका इस्तेमाल न करें।

I saw the post with regards to Running vs Walking & feel that the things mentioned about Running is not accurate. Probably it may be because I have not reached that age & do lot of physical activities. I do cycling & Brisk Walking on a regular basis & feel that Sprint Running has not damaged me at all. On the contrary Long distance running or Marathon usually damages the muscles & could have effect on Cardiac. I'm 32 now. I used to clock 1 min 55secs in 800 m & 3 min 58secs in 1500m track & field Athletics. I want your expert opinion since I was allergic to dust & smoke which forced me to leave that activity.

One needs to maintain a relatively active lifestyle to be in good health. What I advise my patients is to walk everyday for an hour at least 5-6 days a week with free hand exercise and ensure that he covers a distance of 4-5 km. In that period.

Its not advisable to give calcium tablet for children, unless prescribed by a doctor. Teething begins from 6 months. Lower anterior teeth will erupt first.

This could be sleep apnoea. See a sleep specialist. Or a good physician. Try following home remedies. 1. Quit rice 2. Do light cardio exercises like walking, cycling etc. And light weights 3. Gargle with salted water. 4. Drink 3 litres of water. 5. Eat porridge of poppy seeds alternate days.

Recently I have realized that I am becoming more anxious about things, thinking too much about things and not feeling like doing social interactions at my new job which I joined in December last year. I sometimes feel I am not able to motivate myself to excel. I know what is to be done but do not have the motivation energy to achieve the goal. I do not like my present condition specially the dirty chaotic environment which India is providing. I dream of settling in a quite calm place like ooty or dharamshala. Dear lybrate-user, our happiness is directly proportional to the" total amount of energy" we spend in the whole day. So, no doubt your lack of interest and lethargy are do to your weight issue. I understand your concern. Most people who are fat are made to feel that it is because you lack will power, you are lethargic and a weak person. But that is definitely not true. It is your your hormones which have made you fat and keeping you fat. Unless we make correct diagnosis and and create a diet and lifestyle plan to correct that hormonal abnormalities you will not be able to lose weight for long term. Avoid all junk food and all sweet food. Low fat diet does not work for majority of people. Eat wholesome nutritious food full of fibers, good quality fat like ghee and coconut etc. Don't focus on calories but on nutritional density and diversity. Simultaneously working on exercise and diet will surely help. Best rate to lose weight is 1/2 kg per week. If that happens, it is least likely to go high again in future. You do not have to do rigorous exercise to lose weight but start with something small. Let us say 8 minute workout. Pick one which you like and can do. Trying to lose weight in very short time will need some form of crash diet. Even if you lose weight doing this kind of crash diet, you will get it all back within no time and all the gain will be mainly fat. Not good for your health. Be gentle and patient with yourself. Demonstrate commitment in your persistent efforts. Make comprehensive change in diet, exercise, sleep and stress in your routine. This is called lifestyle medicine. If you can not do it on your own, find some lifestyle medicine expert who can help you in this over extended period of time. We do this over long distance. Remember one thing - once you take small but correct step, you will see result and that in turn will motivate you do sustain. Best wishes.

Cholesterol levels are deranged. You need to start with lifestyle measures. Change your diet (consult a dietician for detailed diet chart) and start exercising, begin gradually and increase to 45 mins of daily brisk walking or yoga. Stop smoking and quit drinking. Repeat lipid profile 6 weeks after these precautions. If they are still high, you will need medications.

Take 5 leaves of parizaad tree leaves also called as harsinghaar. Make a paste of those 5 leaves, put the paste in 150 ml water and put to boil. Boil for 20 minutes than drink that water and chew the leaves. Do this for 7 days early morning empty stomach, your problem will be cured permanently.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash once in a day. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

The erythracyte sedimentation rate , measures how 'sticky' the red blood cells are . If elevated. this does not indicate any specific disease, but an infection which can be due to anemia, arthritis, connective tissue issues, stiff joints , rashes fevers ESR above 100 mm/h is most likely caused by an active disease. Sir 2 days ago my cousin sisters was here with me then she went at her home. I am very close to her. After she went then my mind is constantly thinking about them only. Then after few time that day when I thought about her my breath increases slightly and mainly there is a heaviness or something strange in my below breast bone like in chest or heart region. Include a well-balanced diet by adding low-fat products, high protein diet, plenty of fruits and vegetables and lean meat. Include cardiovascular exercises like running, swimming, jumping etc. Eat small meals at regular intervals. Drink enough water to reduce dehydration and fatigue. Include carbohydrate rich foods like cereals, bread, fruits, vegetables, pasta and milk. Avoid smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, junk food addiction etc.

For a glowing skin Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit and remember its difficult to change your melanin colour.
