Taking care of your hair *take nutritious healthy food *have regular vigorous physical exercise so that blood circulation reaches hair follicles and nourishes the hair. *avoid mental stress and smoking and such unhealthy habits. * have adequate rest and timely sleep. You may have limitations because of your profession, but stick to it as far as possible. *use warm or cold water for bath and not very hot water. * hard water is harmful. Boiling will reduce hardness. * when the hair is wet, it is weaker and don't rub too much with towel. * use wide toothed comb so that there is no pulling pressure on the hair. *your usual hair dye has large doses of ammonia, which changes hair texture, dries out the scalp and almost leads to hair fall. Hair growth is dependent on several factors. We have good treatment in homoeopathy without causing adverse effects. It improves the system to promote healthy growth of hair and prevent hair fall. If you are interested, please let me know- *what is your age, height, weight, profession and whether it is a touring job? *since how long you have this problem? * do you have dry skin? *do you have dandruff? * have you history of any serious illness. * do you have anaemia? can be checked from report of blood test. * is it hereditary in your family? I can prescribe medicines which will be available in homoeopathic shops.

Under Eye Dark Circles - Can Stress be the Reason Behind It!

Under Eye Dark Circles - Can Stress be the Reason Behind It!

Under eye dark circles are a common appearance if you do not get the adequate hours of sleep or if you are subjected to stress over a prolonged period of time. However, if you notice the presence of under eye dark circles even after getting sufficient sleep, that might be a result of crater formation or swollen eyelids.

Causes of under eye dark circles

  1. Constant exposure to the sun : Which might lead to an over-secretion of melanin (the pigment responsible for skin coloration).
  2. Excessive rubbing of eyes : Dark circles might also occur if you randomly rub or scratch your eyes as an unconscious habit.
  3. Allergy/Contact Dermatitis: Dark circles might also develop due to allergies or eczema (skin inflammation) or contact dermatitis (a condition wherein rashes develop accompanied by severe itching after coming in contact with a foreign substance).
  4. Old Age: The gradual loosening of skin along with fats and collagen as you grow old can result in dark circles of reddish-blue hue.
  5. Excessive consumption of tobacco and alcohol: might also form dark circles under the eyes.
  6. Nutritional deficiencies: Nutrients in our diet play a vital role in maintaining both the aesthetics and the functionality of our eyes and deficiency of some of these can surely cause under eye dark circles. Nutrients like vitamin B 12, K, E and iron deficiency are just few of them.
  7. Hereditary factors
  8. Stress
  9. Lack of sleep

Home remedies for treating under eye dark circles

  1. Apply almond oil on your dark circles and leave it overnight
  2. Cut thick slices of cucumber, place them for 30 minutes on your eyes and then wash them thoroughly
  3. Apply juice of raw potato on your dark circles for 2 to 3 weeks

Under eye dark circles are not a serious medical condition and can be easily decreased or eliminated by following procedures:

  1. In order to eradicate dark circles, you can opt for a procedure which combines aqua jet, glycolic peel (which helps to shed the affected skin in the under-eye region and initiate the natural reduction of the dark circles), micro current (which keeps the affected region duly hydrated) and associated home ingredients to strengthen the skin around your eyes.
  2. To prevent dark circles, you can also opt for a procedure which revitalises the under-eye regions with the help of high platelet-containing plasma. The platelets help in the creation of collagen (the building block of the skin) that restores freshness of your skin. This procedure is completely safe as it is a natural one and does not come with any side effect. Further recommendations In addition to the aforementioned procedures, you can also use a serum containing soy and rice peptides, yeast protein, hyaluronic acid, and extracts from seaweed. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an Ophthalmologist.

How do I take care of my skin and hair after swimming in a pool which is used by many people everyday, including kids, and the water is filtered only once in a week. I take bath with Johnson n Johnson kids top to toe every day immediately after swimming class. Is that enough? What else should I do? Also I consume some of the pool water while learning to back float. What do I do to protect myself internally?

Swimming does cause some harm to skin. Scrub your body twice a week with a good scrubber. You can make ubtans of besan or pulses at home. If you have consumed water and you feel you need some detoxification, you can take stomach deworming capsules.

Hi, its really impossible to turn grey hair black again but can prevent further greying of hair. First of all you should correct your diet because what we are eating , that is reflecting on our body, so we should take Foods that are rich in iron and zinc help our body to fight against white hairs. Eat these following foods; like mushrooms, corns, green leafy vegetables, almonds etc. Avoid too much oily foods. Drink adequate water. Our Homoeopathy also helps to reduce and prevent the hair fall. 1. you should take lycopodium 200 , 5 drops once in 15 days, morning empty stomach. 2. Take wiesbaden 200, 5 drops , once a day. 3. Apply jaborandi Hair Oil (SBL) on your hair and scalp thrice in a week. 4. Wash the hair with Montana herbal shampoo(SBL). 5. DERMATOPHYTOSIS/DADRU. DADRU – ringworm, dermatophytosis or tinea infection is a burst out condition of the skin. Due to bursting of exterior through the skin leads to circular or different shaped skin patches with itching. It is also commonly explained as fungal skin infection. CLASSIFICATION Depending upon the site of affliction the lesions are named as below- Scalp -Tinea capitis – also known as scalp ringworm Body -Tinea corporis Whole body surface -Tinea universalis Neck -Tinea versicolor Face -Tinea faciei Beard -Tinea barbae Groin and buttock -Tinea cruris – also known as jock itch Hand -Tinea manuum Feet-Tinea pedis – athlete’s toes, athlete’s feet Nails-Tinea unguium WHY THIS HAPPENED? Poor nutrition – leading to less immunity, more proneness to infection Excessive sweating Hot and humid climate – excessive sweating, leading to moist skin Debilitating/ chronic diseases – compromised immunity Poor hygiene, poor living conditions, Diabetes – diabetic patients are usually more prone to skin diseases Administration of cortico- steroids and immune suppressing agents, leading to compromised immunity. More chance for the fungus to invade. Infection: Fungal parasitic infection sweat infection TO DO Warm water Astringent-bitter and light food Regular washing and bathing Proper exercise – to improve body strength and immunity Buttermilk Light and easily digestible food Turmeric, curry leaves, cinnamon, cardamom NOT TO DO. Oily food, junk foods, sodas – upsets stomach and intestines, worsens immunity strength Cold water Dust and contaminants Heavy and excessive food Slimy and spicy food Night awakening Improper bowel habit etc PREVENTIVE TIPS AND HOME REMEDIES For any type of skin disorders due to infection – mix 10 grams of turmeric powder in 100 ml of neem oil. Apply it over the skin lesions, 30 minutes before bath, everyday. Believe it or not, a perianal abscess was cured with this simple remedy. (You can see a testimonial about it here) For all skin disorders, mix a tablespoon of Khadira (Acacia catechu powder) in a tub of hot water and use it for bathing. Read more about this home remedy In case of Jock itch (affecting groins), wear loose-fitting under garments. Apply cosmetic powder to keep the skin dry. To prevent scalp fungal infection, do not use very old and infested combs, brushes and such other hair care products. If you have groin fungal infection (Jock itch) and athlete’s foot together, then treating groin infection alone will not be sufficient. The foot infection can spread to groin and jock itch may recur. Do not share cloth, sports instruments, towels with others Wash thoroughly after suspected skin contact Avoid tight-fitting cloths. Change your socks and underwear repeatedly, if needed. After bath, make sure to dry the skin completely. If you have athlete’s foot, put your socks on before your underwear so that the infection does not spread. Avoid using oily skin products. Reduce your exposure to the afternoon sun. Increased sweating causes worsening of infection. Wear cotton cloth, which absorbs the sweat and moisture completely. In my case whenever there is change in temperature i.e. from h...
Yes. It can be cured permanently. It is because your skin is simply not able to tolerate and adapt to temperature changes normally. With treatment it will change and your skin will not react to temperature changes in this manner. Contact if interested.
