Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate.You have mentioned persistent back pains since last 4 years as your main problem. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back, mri of lower back region and few blood tests for evaluation. X-ray must and a check up of vit d and calcium levels. Sit straight and improve your posture. Avoid long sitting toward bending and long standing and lifting heavyweight. Tk physiotherapy treatment for few days and after relief start strength exercise of spine best option for you.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # change sleeping position. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same, you need specific treatment plan according to your symptoms. Food cure for Ligament Tear:

First of all we have to understand what are different types of joints.
LIGAMENTS: are the Fibrous tissues connecting 1 BONE to another BONE.
TENDON: are the tissues run parallel with bones & directly attached with it.
CARTILAGE: are the semi solid BONES like our external ears, nose, between 2 joints etc.

If any of them strains, stretches or breaks then their is inflammation around injured area, so Omega 3 essential fatty requirement of the body increases to repair it. Also Omega 3s are anti inflammatory.

Body requires more protein for the repair of cells. All the zinc in the body gets concentrated to repair the cells so their is deficiency of zinc in the body.
Extra vit C is required to form the collagen. Vit B is required to fasten the process of healing.

So injured person has to be given these nutrients as food concentrates because the soil is depleted and we do not get all the nutrients what our body requires.

The best sources of calcium are: Dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt (low-fat ones are best – skimmed and semi-skimmed milk contains more calcium than full-fat milk). Calcium-enriched varieties of milks made from soya, rice or oats. Fish that are eaten with the bones (such as sardines). Arthritis Research UK recommends a daily intake of calcium of 1,000 milligrams (mg), with added vitamin D if you’re over 60. Iron Iron Iron is important in preventing anaemia and many people with arthritis are anaemic. Anti-inflammatory drugs to help treat arthritis help the pain and stiffness of arthritis but may cause bleeding and stomach ulcers in some people, leading to anaemia. The other main cause of anaemia in arthritis is anaemia of chronic disease, which often occurs with rheumatoid arthritis and similar conditions and doesn’t improve with iron supplements. Good sources of iron are: Red meat Oily fish e.g. sardines, salmon, mackerel etc Pulses e.g. lentils and haricot beans Dark green vegetables e.g. spinach, kale and watercress. Your body absorbs iron better if you take it with vitamin C, so have fruit juice or a good portion of fruit or vegetables with your meal. It’s best not to drink tea with your meal as this reduces the amount of iron that your body can absorb.

There is evidence that certain dietary supplements and vitamins can help with certain types of pain. Fish oil is often used to reduce pain associated with swelling. My son who is 24 year old and was diagnosised with ewing' s sarcoma of feumar bone and tumor grade iii as per biopsy report and under treatment since may 2014 and 14cycles of chemo. Completed with 25 cycles of radiation and opertaed and tumor removed, implant inserted, and pet scan clear, does he require 3 more chemo. As his oncodoc. Suggesting 3 more cycle of chemo. Hemo. Please advise.

This could be due to lumbar spondylosis with nerve root compression. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated.

Try this for joint pains try this. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Hi initially take following precautions 1) stop normal physical activity for couple of days. 2) apply hot fermentation 3) do not do activities that involves heavy lifting or twisting of your back for few days 4) after 2 to 3 weeks, slowly begin to exercise 5) avoid wearing high heals and lifting heavy bags.
