Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. In my opinion reading your query I will advise you to get a comprehensive body checkup done with all investigations including inflammatory profile markers also. It will be good if you can actually consult with a general physician and get all the tests done. From an orthopaedic point of view, since you have multiple joint pains, I will advise you to get: cbc, esr, crp, serum vitamin d levels, serum electrolytes, thyroid profile also. Get these tests done empty stomach and send me the investigation reports. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

That you can do hot water fermentation and ice therapy at home. If you have shoulder pain then the stiffness will develop more that might make the arm to have less improvement which might make you to feel more pain the arm. And also cervical pillow can be used which might make you to have better posture of the shoulder neck and arm It looks like you are anaemic. That's the reason your body becomes tired though you had good sleep during the night. The pain in the shoulder and back shows that your muscles become too tired especially in the area of the body where you get maximum body weight (ie. Back) and the shoulder which moves excessively during the day for any activity which we do with our hand. If the pain subsides after the day starts ie. Once your metabolic activity starts in the body then you become alright, so you can take bath in good warm water which would help you to break the tiredness. And also you can check with your calcium & vitamin levels in your body by consulting a general physician.
