Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. I want to know your detailed clinical history as to the duration of these multiple joint pains, your relevant investigations, your treatment records till now. It helps me to better understand your condition and prescribe accordingly. Please also mention your co-morbid conditions and drug allergy. Due to multiple joint involvement, it is difficult to advise on management as treatment differs for different pathologies but in general, recommendations for you will be: - intensive exercises in presence of a physical therapist initially - adequate calcium and vitamin d intake as per requirement - gentle anti inflammatory medication like tab etoshine, or tab paracetamol whichever suits you can be taken - footwear modification, wearing soft well cushioned shoes for heel pain start with this treatment and we will see how you are progressing in next 2-3 weeks otherwise I will need blood investigations and also relevant x rays to advise do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hello your skin may be allergic or hypersensitive to pool water. Chlorine in the pool water can cause skin dryness and irritation. Other natural irritants can cause this symptoms like red rash, itching and scaling of skin. Skin sensitivity can be reduced by washing the affected area with clean water try to remove any traces of the remaining irritant, i. E. Cleaning product or swimming pool water.

Hello, there are many causes behind backache *any strain or sprain in the muscles or ligaments of the back during lifting of heavy objects is the main cause of the lower back pain. *sitting in the wrong posture for a very long time is another cause. *people suffering from constipation may also suffer from lower back pain. *sometimes sleeping on wrong type of beds can also cause pain in the back. Follow the tips *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc.

Dear Lybrate user, I'd not advise to quit your job but I'd advise something you should do systematically to get back to pain free life. 1- Consult an Interventional pain specialist or orthopedician trained in spine to rule out any significant problem with your spine ( any chronic pain for more than 2 months is not a symptom but itself a disease of chronic pain, irrespective of underlying disease) 2- Get your Vit D and calcium level checked, if less take supplements or increase it . 3- Take help from specialist about ergonomic/ posture correction at work. 4- Avoid loading your spine by sitting for longer period, you can take intermittent walk or stand in between 5- Take help of Physiotherapist If there is any spasm of muscles at lower back 6- Strengthen Your lumbar paraspinal muscles. These are steps you should take to help yourself from chronic back pain.

I m 22years old grl. I suffer backpain. About one month. I am faced backpain problem. Whn I sit n study. Wht should I do.

BAMS

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a self limiting disease. Acute phase can be managed with medicines. Physiotherapy helps in preventing contractures & deformities. Keep your moral up! any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do knee exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. In your age, back pain is because of following reasons. Inappropriate posture during studying. Lack of exercises. Lack of sunlight exposure. You will need some medicines and exercises to strengthen your back muscles. Posture modification is required. Calcium and Vitamin D deficiency may be seen and would require correction.
