You reduce weight to stay healthy and fit. Do regular exercise like push ups, sit ups, plank, yoga etc. Eat small amount of food. But do not skip meals. Take food 5-6 times instead of 3 big meals. Use extra protein to lose weight. Use lukewarm water after meals. Avoid fast foods, junk foods etc. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink plenty of water specially before meals.

Hye, thanks for the query. You have to understand that weight loss is about eating sensibly, about earing right. Your weight is a balance of calories. Fad diets may promise you that counting carbs or eating a mountain of fruits will make the fats drop. But when it comes to weight loss, it's sensible eating that counts. Weight loss comes down to burning more calories than you take in. You can do that by reducing extra calories from food and beverages, and increasing calories burned through physical activity. Understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating, so if you have lost weight on scale by crashing your intake or restricted intake or skimping on a particular food group or over exercising, then be assured that you have not lost fats but muscle mass and water. This, once if you get back to your old routine, is going to show up as a gain, which is infact much more than what you lost.       These methods and fads also cause rapid loss due to loss of muscle mass, leading to a very lowered metabolism, which will cause reduced fat loss and further fat deposition.            Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     All the so called fad, crash, restricted diets, singular food remedies like doodhi juice or green tea will only give you muscle and bone loss. Masturbation reduces blood and also causes weakness of bones. Stop this habit and instead make fresh fruits and vegetables as your regular food habit, and drink cow's milk in night before sleeping.

To increase weight you should eat a healthy balanced diet, along with that do strength training exercises 3 times a week, followed by a healthy protein drink. Also limit stress, do yoga or meditation or any other relaxation technique, sleep for minimum 8 hours and drink plenty of water.

Say that you are strong. Never say you are weak. Work on making yourself physically and mentally strong. To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Take small meals but eat something solid every 2 hours. 1. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. 2. Take one peanut butter/cheese sandwich daily. 3. Eat 20 almonds & 5 khajoor daily 4. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, chikoo shakes etc. 6. Dals have good protein. Have more dals, rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. 7. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. 8. No need for any extra supplements. Natural diet is best. 9. Go for regular walks / exercise / do yoga. Sleep well. 10. Take deworming tablets every six month. .Feel confident about yourself and be positive and smile.

Hi lybrate-user, I can understand your concern. But don't make your body weight such a priority that you lose sight of everything else which is more important. Suicide for any reason is not the solution. There is solution for everything. If you are underweight, then you may want to see a doctor in order to rule out a serious medical condition. This is particularly important if you have recently started losing large amounts of weight without even trying. Eat Lots of Carbs and Fat, and Eat at Least 3 Times Per Day Plate With Meat, Beans and Potatoes Many people try restricting either carbs or fat when they are trying to lose weight. This is a bad idea if your goal is to gain weight, because it will make it harder to get in enough calories. 1) Eat plenty of high-carb and high-fat foods if weight gain is a priority for you. It is best to eat plenty of protein, fat and carbs at each meal. It is also a bad idea to do intermittent fasting. This is useful for weight loss and health improvement, but can make it much harder to eat enough calories to gain weight. Make sure to eat at least 3 meals per day, and try to add in energy-dense snacks whenever possible. 2) Eat Lots of Protein The single most important nutrient for gaining healthy weight is protein. Muscle is made of protein, and without it most of those extra calories may end up as body fat. Studies show that during periods of overfeeding, a high protein diet causes many of the extra calories to be turned into muscle (However, keep in mind that protein is a double-edged sword. It is also highly filling, so that it can reduce your hunger and appetite significantly. This can make it harder to get in enough calories If you’re trying to gain weight, aim for 0.7-1 grams of protein per pound of body weight (1.5 – 2.2 grams of protein per kilogram). You can even go above that if your calorie intake is very high. High-protein foods include meats, fish, eggs, many dairy products, legumes, nuts and others. Protein supplements like whey protein can also be useful if you struggle to get enough protein in your diet. Here are some energy-dense foods that are perfect for gaining weight: Nuts: Almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, etc. Dried fruit: Raisins, dates, prunes and others. High-fat dairy: Whole milk, full-fat yogurt, cheese, cream. Fats and Oils: Extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil. Grains: Whole grains like oats and brown rice. Here are 10 more tips to gain weight: Don’t drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories. Eat more often. Squeeze in an additional meal or snack whenever you can, such as before bed. Drink milk. Drinking whole milk to quench thirst is a simple way to get in more high-quality protein and calories. Try weight gainer shakes. If you are really struggling then you can try weight gainer shakes. These are very high in protein, carbs and calories. Use bigger plates. Underweight is a term describing a person whose body weight is considered too low to be healthy. The definition usually refers to people with a body mass index (bmi) of under 18.5 a weight 15% to 20% below that normal for their age and height group.
