They must be consumed as morning meal. • Brown rice can be a filling food because of its fiber, carbohydrates and protein content. If you are planning for a healthy weight gain, then combine rice with some other nutrient and calorie-dense foods. Instead of water, cook them in broth or milk. You may also add butter or cheese over the top. Starchy vegetables and dried fruits can be mixed.

Hye. Thanks for the query. The Zika virus disease can cause fever, rash, joint pain, and redness in the whites of the eye. But most people won’t know they have it. Though some people have no symptoms at all. The virus rarely causes major complications, but in rare cases, Zika has been associated with Guillain-Barre syndrome, a disorder that can cause partial or complete paralysis, usually starting in the legs, most often temporary. Zika, dengue fever, chikungunya, or West Nile virus, all can cause a variety of flu-like symptoms that range in severity and can last from a few days to more than a week. There’s no treatment, but most people with symptoms do well with medications for aches and pains. The disease usually runs its course within a week or so.

Hye. Supplementation depends on your present food intake, medical condition, vitamin d levels in your body, lifestyle and requirement. Vitamin d is essential for bone health. If you don't spend enough time in the sun or if your body has trouble absorbing the vitamin, you may not get enough. Firstly it is important to understand that you need to have a balanced diet to help absorption of all vitamins. But there are some things you can do to increase the vitamin d levels. Firstly get sunlight. Sunlight spurs the body to make vitamin d small amount of sun exposure without sunscreen can do the trick. If you're going to get it from the sun, about 20 to 25 minutes of exposure is helpful. Include in your diet foods like fatty fish like salmon and mackerel, an egg yolk, dairy, fish oil, clarified butter and nuts. Also you may have to take a supplement as per the physician's advice.

Your diet should be rich in proteins and carbohydrates i. E dairy products,non veg, fruits (banana, dates, mango, anzeer) go for gym for 1 hour everyday. after following this diet if your weight remain same it means there is some hormonal imbalance.I.E Thyroid

hello..only for lots of eating you can not gain weight..1st thing improve your digestive system by digesting your indigested food in the body so walk regularly for good metabolism..drink warm milk with honey before sleeping.. maximum intake of fruit juices..include dry fruits in your diet.. always rest after eating.. take aayurvedic tablet chitrakadi bati after meal... take high protein diet like milk and milk products,all type of pulses..egg etc..

Your normal weight according to your height is 77 kg. To increase weight eat more food more frequently. Use bigger plate. Drink whole cream milk or milk shake. Include more sweet potato with white potato, chikoo, mango, banana, grape etc with other dense fruits and vegetables. Eat more fish, egg, lean meat, peanut, cottage cheese, almond, walnut, ghee, butter, cream, cake, chocolate etc. Use more healthy fats like olive oil, coconut oil, canola, refined vegetable oil etc. Avoid fast foods as far as possible. Avoid smoking, alcohol. Drink lots of water but not just before and during meals. Take proper sleep.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Supplements don't help in isolation. It has to be a part of a calorie dense diet. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. If you’re not used to eating large quantities of food at one time, you may find it difficult to fit all of your calories into three meals per day. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every two to three hours will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Adding ghee and cream to foods adds additional calories for very little extra physical bulk. Fruit juice, masala milk provides crucial nutrients. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Avoid junk foods. Exercise and stay active. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

Mr Ganesh Kumar, since you have T1 DM, I am sure you are on Insulin injections. By now you must have learnt that Insulin injections is the treatment for T1 DM. In addition to that you have to take a properly planned diet that provides exact calories based on your wight, physical activity (daily exercise) and blood sugar levels. Plus you will have to avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods and pastries. Also refrain from smoking and alcohol. Do regular exercise for at least 1 hour a day. In short you have to adapt a modified lifestyle.Plus do self monitoring of blood glucose wit the help of a glucometer at home. This is essential to keep a track of your glucose levels in order to avoid severe hypoglycemia.
