Hi ladies please can anyone reassure me? I have had mild heart palpitations for nearly 2 days now and am worrying myself to a frenzy. It all started after a strong coffee yesterday morning (i do not usually drink strong coffee) and since then Ive had a flutter every few minutes or so? I drank loads.

Caffeine in coffee does cause palpitations and you have been taking lots for past 2 days for reasons known to you only, knowing well that this is the reason for palpitations. No more coffee or cola or tea that has caffeine in it. Take lots of water to flush out remains. Take a tablet of metoprolol 50 mg twice daily for 2 days but no sleeping pills, the moment you feel calm, go to hospital to get basic heart tests done. If you feel any other associated symptom like chest pain, blackouts or vomiting, go to hospital as emergency.

Yes it is possible to start homeopathic medicine for blood pressure but don't stop the allopathic medicine at once. In order to get rid off allopathic medicine its dose should be tapered and then stop when using homeopathic medicine.

I'm 41 years old Male, 5.6" and weighs at 74 kgs, I have been diagnosed with Hypertension a six months ago and been on medication (Nebicard .25 and Tazloc 40) since then. Recent tests also showed high Uric Acid levels, fatty liver, non-obstructive renal calculi, Pre-Diabetes with fasting Sugar at 150 and low HDL My doctor advised me to follow few diet restrictions (salads on an alternate day, avoid plant-based food, red meat, intensive workouts) and lifestyle changes for a month and come back for diabetes screening next month. I am 58 yrs. Weight 90 Height 5 ft 7 inches. Recent tests revealed border line/ slight upper side cholesterols vitamin D deficiency (about 19) No sugar/diabetic complications. Thyroid very slight. Hemoglobin 11. Having headaches/heaviness in head at times. Taking amlopres AT Zyloric 100 Ocid 20 daily and for Vitamin D one sachet 1 gm once a week. 1.no alcohol 2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. I am 26 years female and I have earlier about an year ago Sinus and tonsils problem. Had treatment and Yoga pranayamas at home and is cured for the time being. Consulted doctor repeatedly but haven't find any improvement. Recent about 2 weeks ago changed to another ENT Specialist and had CT Scan. The results said by Dr. are there is no sinus but as the bone which joins with nose iss crossed thus the pressure is applied to side nerves causing pain as migraine and on cheeks. Dr. informed as to go with medicines first if not for surgery for long last relief. Also I have Thyroid for the past 8 years and is now about 1.97 IU/ml and using 100mg from 3 months. Had second opinion too and said same thing to wait for few days. Problem here is when climate changes, I cannot breathe freely, have nose blocks at nights. And the problem will be solved till I use medicine or exercise, again it repeats same. Doest I really need to go for surgery or else I can be cured with medicine? And if the bone is crossed the pain has to appear at one side, but I have pain at cheeks, nose, above eyes and forehead. Please help me out. Thank you.

Yoga, pranayama has cured you once, why do you consult so many specialists and get confused about surgery. I agree with your second doctor that you should wait for few days before you go for surgery. Ct report is bones are overlapping and touching the nerves, causing migraine! wait & watch, there are good medicines for migraine also, carry on with yoga, pranayam + medicines which are safe. Surgery should be last option in your case.

You are looking for too many things but you are not giving time to your body. You can't put time limits on your body. There are no short cuts. It took time to gain this weight so give a decent time for body to be able to lose it too. Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.
