10 best foods for muscle growth :

Almonds:

These nuts are exceptionally a dense powerhouse of essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that will aid the body in muscle growth and staying slim. Eating these nuts can lead to more energy and stronger muscles. 1/3 cup of almonds delivers 271 calories, 10 g of protein, 10 g of carbs and 23g of fat.

Turkey:

Turkey breast is absolutely great for bulking up your overall muscle growth. It is high on protein, low fat and slightly higher in cholesterol than most lean meats and fish. One serving of Turkey breast delivers 34 calories, 14% fat, 16% carbs and 70% proteins.

Red meat:

Adding lean cuts of red meat to your diet is an excellent way to help muscle growth. Red meat is also a rich source of dietary iron that helps maximize athletic performance.

Eggs:

Eggs are convenient food that is fast and easy to cook. To stay really fit and healthy, it is best eating the egg whites and occasionally the yolk. The protein in eggs has the highest value. Yogurt is the perfect combination of protein and carbohydrates that is extremely good for exercise recovery and muscle growth. Studies have shown that yogurt in one of the few foods that has conjugated linoleic acid, a special type of fat that aid to reduce body fat.

Quinoa:

Quinoa is a typical high protein grain which is not a rice or couscous. It can be sweet and savory; has a nutty texture and rich flavor. It is one of the best additions to your daily diet especially for boys who are trying to build lean muscle using natural ingredients. This protein is made up of all 9 essential amino acids which means it’s a complete protein that will help build and repair your muscles. It contains only 3 grams of fat for ¼ cup serving and is cholesterol and gluten free.

Oatmeal:

Oatmeal is an excellent carbohydrate diet that packs in an abundance of fiber and carbs which is ideal for the diet of bodybuilders. While protein is definitely the most important, carbohydrates and fats too play a vital role in muscle building process.

Salmon:

Chickpeas:

Crash diets and drastic weight reduction always bounces back because the more you starve your body, the more it craves. It may have serious health implications also. I'm 20 years old guy and my girlfriend had her periods in last month of 5th day i. E 5 of April and on this month of 4th may we had safe intercourse with condom later I just done fingering in her vagina and today is 13th of may she still didn't get her periods I'm worried of she getting pregnant but I'm sure that sperms are not entered in her vagina then how can her periods been delayed for so many days please guide me.

There are multiple reasons for delay in periods but for a sexually active female, pregnancy as a case should be ruled out first. Even if you did I use condom it offers more than 80% protection from pregnancy, but not 100%. So it would be advisable that you ask her to rule out pregnancy using urine pregnancy test. If it's positive, it is likely that she is pregnant. Even if negative she should consult gynecologist for necessary treatment as periods are delayed by more than 10 days by now.

Hye, Thanks for the query. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals.     Reduce your main meals by 1/4th  the amount. Take a glass of lime water 10minutes before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

Hairfall can be due to number of reasons such as: - prolonged/ severe illness such as typhoid, tb, major surgery - crash dieting, anemia - hormonal imbalance - hypothyroidism, pcod etc - intake of drugs such as some antihypertensives, anticoagulants - deficiency of various essential nutrients. - in males, it could also be because of genetic factors and dht the cause should be treated if possible. General precautions include: - take diet rich in iron, calcium and proteins - use mild shampoos only (shampoos generally do not regrow hair, only prevent excessive fall) - do not use excessive chemicals on hair - also, avoid procedures such as ironing, hot air blow drying of hair, rebounding etc.

I was suffering from sore throat before 1 months. It subsided within 10 day by medication. Now I get recurrent attack of it. What can I do?

Hi , it seems tonsillitis you had taken one strong combination of antibiotics you can go for one more course of levofloxacin 500mg once daily for 5 days along with normal saline gargle this is mandatory. See the frequency of recurrence then decide for surgery that is tonsillectomy. Have it resected out, permanently.

Height increases till 18 to 19 years of age. Heredity factor plays an important role. You can do stretching, cycling, running, swimming, hanging, etc. Eat food containing proteins. It will help in muscle building. Take milk and milk products, dry fruits, fruits etc.

Hi, Please follow these tips: Don't get too worried and anxious. Relax well. Avoid drinking coffee or tea after 7 PM, Take hot water bath before going to bed. Have light food and drink a glass of warm milk at night. Listen to soothing music or read some magazines while you are on bed. Keep your mobile in silent mode at night. Do not work on your laptop on the bed or watch TV till late night. Sleep in a dark and silent room. Take tab. Dolo 650mg sos for headache.

Dear, If you tired very fast and feeling weakness. Then you will definitely recover from weakness by following these very useful tips.* You should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, Milk, Chapattis or rice, Butter / cream, Cereals (Daals) or cheese every day. Very Important thing ,Do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time.* Proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours ,then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep.* Do breathing execises daily in morning & Evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes ,take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. You can also do Pranayams like Anulom Vilom for better results. *Take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. You can do it on Treadmill also. * You can take ASHVAGANDHA CHURN OF BAIDYANATH 1 teaspoon with milk daily for 2 months atleast to get your strength back. * Check out your Haemoglobin level in 3 months ,If it is low you get tired early. So get treatment of low Haemoglobin (Anemia). If you have any Disease like Asthma /Diabetes / Hypertension, then get complete treatment of them. * Avoid all fast foods and habit of Smoking or drinking. You surely get great strength and recover from weakness by following these important things.

Relax while u travel, enjoy the travel, listen to music or do some enjoyable activity or do something important for which u r not able to manage time. Learn some relaxing methods. 1 if she is taking heart tablets let her continue. 2. If she is having continous pain inspite of taking drugs then you should consult your doctor - because blood flow may be intermitent to the heart.

Hi doctor. around 6 years back on the occasion of holi I took 2 glasses of bhaang mixed with milk it was my first time afterwards I started feeling strange and suffered a lot that day. I dont know what happened but after that day my life totally changed, I started feeling hot inside the body and all my energy got lost after that incident I now sweat heavily even if walk a bit or do some casual work at home whereas everybody is ok around me but I sweat a lot and my lips are always dry before that day I was full of energy and stamina I used to be always busy doing something or the other but now I don't feel like doing anything please let me know if there is any test to be conducted to point out the cause. I consulted many doctors but they always give me multivitamins and nothing else.

Bhang (known as cannabis in medical science terms) is known to cause panic attacks, states like psychosis, depression (which is quite matching your description here) in young people (18-24 years age) so now you need to stay away from any kind of addiction to get better. I get tired very fast even when I walk for about five mins continuously What should I do?

Hello. One can increase the stamina by including a well-balanced diet by adding low-fat products, plenty of fruits and vegetables and lean meat. So, increase intake of healthy food (food having anti-oxidants like green vegetables, nuts, salads, fruits, fish, green tea; food rich in calcium like milk & milk products; flaxseeds, poppyseeds), avoid alcohol & smoking, drink lots of water (10-12 glasses per day), take sufficient sleep (6-9hrs per day), avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension, sports like football, basketball and all other sprinting games will help strengthen your heart so that more oxygen reaches all parts of your body, include cardiovascular exercises like running, swimming, jumping etc. And exercise daily for 30-45 minutes (brisk walk is the best exercise to increase the circulation of the whole body), later you can increase the duration as per your stamina. (do the above slowly and gradually). Medication: take schwabe's alfaalfa tonic and five phos./ thrice a day daily for 4 weeks.
