Sir I have problem of early discharge. Is there any medicine to increase discharge time.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
Sir I have problem of early discharge. Is there any medicine to increase discharge time.
Follow these tried and tested steps first. In most cases this resolves the issue. 1. First, there are a few lifestyle changes that shall help: · Lose weight if you are overweight. · Quit smoking. · Cut back your alcohol consumption, especially before sex. · Don’t use illegal drugs. · Exercise regularly. · Reduce stress. 2. Start doing Kegel Exercises The Kegel exercise is for strengthening your pelvic muscles. It is like going to the gym, but for sexual stamina. How to do it? When you pass urine, try to stop the flow of urine without your hands, just by contracting your muscles. The muscles you contract then are the pelvic muscles that are used during sex. Do not do this while urinating again, you can do this while you are sitting or standing, while working or doing other things. (It’s done while urinating only the first time, to recognise the muscles.) Once you know how to contract them try doing this a few times every day and this will strengthen them. Aim for at least three sets of 10 repetitions a day. You should see results in a few weeks!

Plantars Fasciitis: How To Deal With It

MBBS, MS - Orthopaedics, Ozone Therapy
Orthopedist, Ghaziabad
Plantars Fasciitis: How To Deal With It

Plantar fasciitis is an orthopedic problem that gives rise to pain in the foot and heel due to strain or pressure on the plantar fascia. This is a ligament or connective tissue which lies in a flat band, connecting your heel with the toes and effectively, providing a basis for the motion of the feet in general. Inflammation, swelling and bruising of this tissue or ligament can lead to excessive pain in the heel.

Let us look at ways that can help you deal with this pain:

  1. Rest: Taking rest and giving your feet a break from all kinds of strain inducing activities can help in relieving the pain. Also, you can keep your feet elevated to help in reducing the pain in the area.
  2. Supportive footwear: Using pads within your shoes with gel built into them, or using specific footwear that help in walking without feeling too much of pain is a good way of dealing with Plantar fasciitis. The shoe inserts must be rubber, felt or plastic so that they are soft for your feet. They also give your heel and its arch good support, while Orthotics pulls the ligament so that there is less stress on the same. You can also pull on a pair of night flints which will keep the foot and the ligament stretched while you enjoy a good night of sleep.
  3. Exercise: Indulging in mild muscle strengthening exercise that also involves stretching and heel hooks can help in alleviating chronic pain that you may be suffering from. Lie flat on your back and take a towel. Lift your leg and hook your foot into it. Now press against the towel and pull down the towel simultaneously. Repeat at least ten times per foot. This will give you flexibility and strength in the area.
  4. Painkillers: Use pain killers only when absolutely necessary and with due advice from the doctor or Orthopaedic specialist. The use of Ibuprofen and other pain relievers can help in numbing the pain inducing nerves in the brain and give you instant relief.
  5. Anti-inflammatory drugs: Your doctor may prescribe anti-inflammatory medication that can bring down the swelling for more comfortable functioning when you are on your feet. Naproxen is one such drug that helps in bringing down the inflammation. Also, corticosteroid injections can relieve severe pain.
  6. Surgery: Heel spur removal or Plantar fascia release are some of the surgical options for chronic and severe cases.

Taking care of your feet is a matter of ensuring that you look into the slightest discomfort and report the same to a doctor.

I have a small curve in my penis to the left side. Is this due to masturbation with the right hand? How can I make mi penis straight?

; Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns t’s common for men’s erections to curve a little upward, downward, or to the left or right. Men’s penises also vary in terms of the direction that they point when they’re erect. With older age, men often experience a lower and lower point over time. Having a slight curve to your penis is unlikely to affect sexual intimacy or the kinds of sex that you have. Some men even use a slight curve to their advantage and may, for example, try to use the curve to stimulate a woman’s g-spot, an area along the front wall of the vagina.. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Hi lybrate-user you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.

UNSAFE SEX means that sex where the chances of infection are high, these sexually transmitted infections (STI) are many and they can play havoc with the life of an affected individual. Many STI dont have any OBVIOUS signs and a person may be infected without knowing about it. Unsafe sex with an unknown partner increases the liability of getting a STI....so UNSAFE sex is NOT safe for YOU, and your partner. Sex using condoms is the simplest way to prevent from STI. But at times the condom breaks and hence the chance of STI is there . So have SEX, BUT use CONDOMS, At EVERY act of sex Hence known partner, and one who is disease free, and sex using condoms is the best way to protect aginst STI

Dear friend, you need to bring changes to your life style. You must go to bed by 10 pm. Do not sleep in day time. If you are under any kind of stress, that may result in such symptoms. Also deficiency of vit d3 levels or dysfunction of thyroid may be the reason. Please get it checked from a good lab.

While playing badminton. In my foot. Bcz of high pressure near thumb finger. There was a corn. Every time I will give pressure there. My foot is paining heavily. Please suggest me some ways to clear all corns. And my foot is like a stone. Its very hard.

Dip. SICOT (Belgium), MNAMS, DNB (Orthopedics), MBBS
Orthopedist, Delhi
Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Corns usually develop on the sole of foot due to constant pressure/friction. There could be many causes but initial management if it is not infected and there is no discharge will be: - use soft padded shoes or shoes with inserts which are available readily - low heels and wide toe box shoes should be used - use moisturizing cream, always use socks when wearing shoes, and try to decrease friction between shoe surface and skin - if there is any element of infection or discharge from any corn or calluses, then it is wise to seek opinion from an orthopaedc surgeon or a podiatrist. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

To gain weight, eat food with extremely high caloric value. Try to increase your food intake without consuming too much fat and sugar. Regular meals, especially breakfast are important if you find it difficult to gain weight. Eat late - having snacks at bedtime may help to gain weight. Relax after having meal. Eat frequently- eat five or more meals a day. Do regular exercise. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day. Take pranacharya krishata nashak capsule twice a day. Drink milk three times a day.
