Over the years understanding of Diabetes has shifted from pancreas to adipocytes (fat cells). Some times with normal insulin level or with more than normal insulin people present with diabetes. This phenomenon is medically known as insulin resistance.
Science has now discovered that virtually everything to do with weight loss for both men and women is controlled by one master hormone. This hormone that controls 100% of your body’s ability to burn fat is Leptin. Researchers recently discovered that women naturally have twice as much of the fat burning hormone Leptin in their body compared to men, thus making it difficult for women to lose weight compared to men. You become leptin-resistant by the same general mechanism that you become insulin-resistant – by continuous overexposure to high levels of the hormone. If you eat a diet that is high in sugar (particularly fructose), grains, and processed foods – the same type of diet that will also increase inflammation in your body – as the sugar gets metabolized in your fat cells, the fat releases surges in leptin.
Newer methods of managing diabetes and obesity –Diabesity is centered around this hypothesis which many times termed as central obesity ( white fat cells and brown fat cells ) cancer-boosting "white" fat cells to less harmful "brown" fat (a heat-generating type of fat that burns energy instead of storing it. while researchers investigate the pharmaceutical avenues to convert white fat cells to brown in an effort to reduce the potential for cancer growth, other research has already shown that this can likely be achieved through exercise.
Thus normal blood sugar with diet and exercise-lifestyle modification can increase your brown fat cells which in turn helps in reducing fat storage, reducing insulin resistance and leptin resistance and obesity.

We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning and filling or root canal treatment and capping depending upon the extent of damage to the tooth. Until then apply clove oil on the decayed tooth. Rinse frequently with mouth wash.

Take steam with karvol plus at night time whenever there is change is temperature, prevention is better than cure in sinus like problem. Avoid food cold food like icecream, colddrinks.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4. Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G. Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk. Weight loss is 80% about what you eat and 20% about exercises. That said, both the things go hand in hand. If you want to lose weight in a more healthy way than be patient and just follow the regimen everyday. Slow and steady wins the race.

Pimples or acne is caused when Hair follicles in your skin gets clogged due to oil, dirt, bacteria or dead skin. Acne generally occurs in people with oily skin but other factors like dead skin, dirt, pollution or hormonal imbalance can also cause acne in people with normal skin. Acne can be reduced or controlled by including some habits in your daily life style. 1. Keep your skin clean – Wash your face daily with an oil control face wash. You can also use a good AHA glow face wash that not only controls oil but also removes dead skin and bacteria. You can also use Tea Tree face wash 2 times a day. By shedding the old dead skin, your skin feels rejuvenated and clean. Apply a good toner, like tea tree toner after washing your face. After toning, apply an oil free and non- comedogenic cream on face. Last but not the least, apply a good sunscreen with minimum 30 spf daily. 1.Face packs – Occasionally apply good oil controlling face packs. Multani mitti + Lemon + yogurt is a good face packs for oily skin beauties. You can apply organic apple cider for 5 minutes after washing your face to kill the bacteria that clogs your pores. Green Tea can also be used as a toner once a day. 2.Diet – Most important thing is diet. Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. Reduce junk food intake, colas, alcohol and soda and consume whole grains. Keeping your digestive system healthy keeps your body and blood toxins free. Drink green tea, lemon juice, orange juice and food items containing Vitamin C as it is responsible for maintaining good skin health. Drink at least 10 glasses of water every day. 3.Exercise – Exercises, yoga, suryanamaskar improves the blood circulation and balances hormones. They keep skin healthy and boost body’s immunity to deal with several issues and not just acne. Include it in your daily regime.

Hello Prolonged working on laptop/TV/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Most mothers complain this.Whereas the real condition in majority of cases is not a disease "vomiting" READ ON. YOur baby is possetting.

Possetting
What is possetting?

Possetting is normal in small babies. It's when small amounts of milk are brought back up. It's often why parents have a cloth with them after a feed to catch the posset which often bubbles through baby's lips after a feed


What causes possetting?

Often when your baby's stomach is full, milk can come back up. Babies often posset a little when burping, bringing up the milk often with swallowed air or wind.

In a baby the muscular valve at the end of their food pipe, which acts to keep food in the stomach, hasn't developed properly yet.

What are the symptoms of possetting?

Bringing up about a few teaspoons worth of milk after a feed.

It's non-forceful and tends to dribble out.

How is possetting treated?

If it is just possetting your GP or health visitor will give you reassurance that is it quite normal.

They can also help establish if it is the more serious conditions of reflux or gastroesophageal reflux disease known as GERD.

What is reflux?

Reflux is more serious than possetting. It's when the stomach contents are regurgitated.

When acid from the baby's stomach comes up as well as the milk, this can be painful. About half of babies will experience some form of reflux during their first year. As the muscular valve gets stronger, your baby is better at keeping food down.

How to tell the difference?

If your baby shows discomfort when feeding, such as arching away, refusing to feed and crying, it can be a sign of reflux. She may also frequently vomit or spit up more than normal possetting, and cough a lot, including at night, with no other sign of a cold.

If your baby displays any of the above symptoms check with your GP. Reflux is quite common. It tends to peak between one and four months and normally ends by 12-18 months.

How to alleviate reflux?

It can often be successfully controlled by simple remedies: For example:

More small feeds to prevent your baby's stomach getting too full.
Keeping him upright during and for at least half an hour after a feed.
Avoid tight clothing, particularly around your baby's stomach.
Ask your doctor or health visitor for advice.

Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

If reflux is very severe there can be complications like damage to the oesophagus ( oesophagus), or long-term problems and this is diagnosed as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease ( GERD).

Symptoms may include: vomiting, failure to put on weight, coughing and breathing problems.

If your baby vomits bile which is green, has repeated projectile vomiting or vomits blood seek medical advice straight away. Symptoms like bloody stools (poo), abdominal distention, excessive crying or if baby keeps refusing feeds may also be signs of GERD, and again should be checked by a medical professional promptly.

It is rare for infants to suffer from GERD but bringing milk up is very common for most babies, who tend to grow out of possetting or reflux by 12-18 months.

! am 50 years old. I am using BP tablets lose-H since 10 years. Actually I do morning walk and yoga. And I don't have BP in fact. May stop using BP tablets. Or at least, may shift to Ayurveda/home/Unani as alternative medicine for the same issue. Recently, I was impressed with Ayurveda treatment for some other issue. Please give suggestion.

no never ...don't stop your bp tablets otherwise it'll shoot up more than before....get ur bp regularly checked...dosage can be reduced by doctor but not stopped

Mix chickpeas flour (besan), green gram flour, turmeric powder, rose water, and milk to form a paste. Then scrub your skin with this paste for at least two minutes. Use this scrub consistently to get rid of your body hair, naturally.
