Is it normal to have errectile dysfunction in mid fifties. I have Bp and am diabetic. My weight is 120 kg.any way to reverse it or I have to live with it for the rest of my life.

MD - Psychiatry, MBBS
Psychiatrist, Patna
Erectile dysfunction is not a normal thing in fifties. Obese male can have this problem either because of deranged sugar profile causing arterial disease or due to increased oestrogen (a female hormone) production. what is your sugar level. Have you ever got your colour doppler done?

Hi I am 28 years old male. I have pain in ankle area. I am using pain relief ointments. But not cure fully.

Hi
I am 28 years old male. I have pain in ankle area.
I am using pain relief ointments. But not cure fully.
Use rest, ice, compression, and elevation (RICE) for pain and swelling. Stop, change, or take a break from any activities that cause your symptoms. Avoid "running through the pain," which may increase damage to your foot. Consider changing your exercise routine if you think running or another high-impact sport is causing your foot pain. Switch temporarily to a low-impact exercise activity, such as cross-country skiing, stair-climbing machines, bicycling (regular or stationary), rowing, or swimming. Use sensible sports training techniques, such as wearing the right shoes and stretching before activities. Wear comfortable and supportive shoes and socks. Consider using an orthotic shoe device, such as an arch support, to help relieve your foot pain. Try heel-cord exercises to increase your strength and flexibility if your heel or heel cord (Achilles tendon) is tight and painful. This may help relieve your heel pain.

Is masturbation frequently (I.e. Every other day) harmful Wil there be problem in future.

Is masturbation frequently (I.e. Every other day) harmful
Wil there be problem in future.
Hello- Masturbation is a natural sexual activity that most people do at some point in their lives. Some people masturbate more than others. There is no “normal” frequency, but if a person masturbates so much that it affects daily life, that is a cause for concern. If you are facing backache, continuous vaginal discharge/irritation, burning urination, abdominal cramps and loss of appetite, you must reduce your frequency to once in a week.

Suffering from piles. I wish to treatment by Homeopathy .constipation. Jalan become time of stool.
Your history is incomplete. I think you r suffering frm anal fissure. U should use Cremagel ointment for local application 2-4 times a day plus dietary fibre supplements. Lactifibre powder may be useful taken 1 tsf in 1 glass water at bed time. Sitz bath in which you have to sit in a tub of lukewarm water (should not be too hot). If no relief after 4 to 6 wks. Consider a surgical option.

Your blood sugar levels are still high. You should get hba1c tested which will reflect the average of the last three months. Moreover you have not mentioned what anti diabetic drugs you are taking. You should also get your other blood investigations and blood pressure etc checked up. Your eye examination is also required so that your basic medical details are also available to check the status of treatment and progression of the disease. You should consult your family physician for better understanding of the disease and treatment without undue delay.
