I have black spot as well as black pimple on my face can you help me I am tried cream like scar fair lovely fair handsome etc but not result.

Dark spots are primarily caused by zits, acne, blemishes and black heads. The percentage of dark spots can increase with increased exposure to the sun. So, apply sunscreen, every time you go out and follow the home remedies below in order to get relief from dark spots. Take a medium sized tomato and squeeze the juice from it, add one tablespoon of lemon juice to the tomato juice and stir the mixture well. Apply on the face and let it dry for 20 minutes. Rinse the face with warm water. Collect the pulp from Aloe Vera leaves and let it dry in the sun for 5 minutes and then add few drops of lemon juice to the dried pulp. Apply this mixture on the face and wash it off after 15 minutes. The results are quite good. take a pinch of turmeric powder and add some lemon juice to it. Mix both the ingredients well and dab the mixture on the black spots. This pack can work very effectively to reduce marks on the skin and the results will be visible on the skin within a week’s time if you use this treatment daily.

My father is operated by pass surgery last month. Which type of food we gave him.

One month after operation he can have a normal diet like you people eat at home-daal ,roti, subjee , chaawal . Avoid extra salt through sauces , pickles , paapads and other foods which require preservatives , do not sprinkle salt on salads , encourage him to eat more of seasonal vegetables and fruits compared to before surgery , few nuts for good fats , a spoon of desighee or pure butter but no oily transfats like biscuits , cakes ,namkeen , street food or fried food at home. Use musturd oil for cooking and soy oil for frying ( yes sometimes he can be treated to home made pakodas/ puris) He should have 5 meals instead of large 3 meals . Do keep him occupied with light activities for body and some brain teasers to be aware of world around him. Whatever was his schedule before surgery , try to make him get back after 3 months of surgery.

Dear Doctor, I am 28 yrs old girl recently got married before my marriage I had long and thick hairs. I have recently shifted to pune and my hairs are falling very highly now I am left with half of hair and that too very thin previously I used arnica Montana hair oil and shampoo as medicated prescribed by homeopathic Dr. I eat normal food with lots of water and have proper sleep please help me out how can I regain my hairs back. Hair fall may be attributed to different reasons like using artificial colors, hair styling, chemicals etc. It may be due to some internal weakness also. Please go for herbal neem shampoo. Use shikakai and amla as conditioner (soak amla and shikakai in water overnight and boil a little in morning). Apply it on hairs. Keep for half an hour and then wash. It will condition the hairs. What is right food:

  • Always choose easy preparations: those food items cooked easily are healthier, contain more nutrition and easy to digest.
  • Avoid deep fried extra oily food: generally deep fried over cooked foods causes acidity and a gastric problem which lead to indigestion and, later on, weight gain due to the improper digestive system.
  • Add colors to your diet: use color full vegetables, and eat different color fruits, it will provide phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are natural compounds found in plant foods such as vegetables, fruit, whole grain products and legumes. These plant compounds have beneficial effects working with other essential nutrients to promote good health.

Divide your plate into four sections with dairy on the side to represent the five food groups:
 

  1. Fruits
  2. Vegetables
  3. Grains
  4. Protein
  5. Dairy



What is right amount of food? (it means your portion size):

One easy way to size up portions if you don't have any measurements is to use your hand as a guide:
 

  • A clenched fist is about a cup - and a cup is the amount experts recommend for a portion of pasta, rice, cereal, vegetables, and fruit.
  • A meat portion should be about as big as your palm.
  • Limit the amount of added fats (like butter, mayo, or salad dressing) to the size of the top of your thumb.



Right time:

Fix meal timings, and try to stick to those timings. Maintain a proper gap between meals to get it digest well.

Dear lybrate-user, it is difficult to pinpoint why you wd be having this pain. May be the doctor would advise you certain tests and painkillers also. One can safely start walks any time and exercises from 14 weeks onwards as by this time the body strength starts recovering and sleepiness also lessens.

Suffering from recurrent depression for last 8-9 years and have been on medication. The dosage is like - duzela 20 & Milnace 25 in the morning and Duzela 20, Milnace 50 & petril 0.25 mg. Is this too high a dosage for my age and what can be done to overcome this. Physical exercise am already doing. But the medicines have only increased over a period of time. What else can be done so that medicines do not increase further.

When we challenge ourselves to do something different, there are chemical changes in the brain. If you’re depressed, make time for things you enjoy. What if nothing seems fun anymore? That's just a symptom of depression. You have to keep trying anyway. As strange as it might sound, you have to work at having fun. Plan things you used to enjoy, even if they feel like a chore. Keep going to the movies. Keep going out with friends for dinner.
