: red eye has many causes. You hav to see if it is associated with blurring of vision, pain, discharge and other complaints. But commonly its allergic or infective in origin ie allergic or infective conjuvctivitis. Which has simple treatment protocol. Of a course of topical antibiotics, antiinflammatory and tear substitutes. But still its wise to see an ophthalmologist for a thorough slit lamp examination to rule out other differentials for acute red eye.

I am having squint in my left eye, Is it possible to correct it through a laser surgery/other?
Hello lybrate-user. Squint of the eye has multiple causes associated with it. Let me enumerate them in brief: (1) significant difference in the refractive error (glasses power) between both eyes. (2) injury to the eye. (3) cataract/ opacity of the lens in one eye (in pediatric age group specifically). (4) eye having undergone surgery would have the possibility of getting deviated with time. (5) long standing retinal problem in an eye. (6) amblyopia/ lazy eye. It would be possible to correct squint with surgery. This would not be a laser surgery. Also, you must understand the fact that there is a chance that the squint would recur after surgical correction. The duration between the surgery and recurrence could be variable.

Treatment of squint eyes ?

The primary focus is to treat any refractive error if it is leading to squint. Often, a correction of this error may be all that is required to treat this condition, termed" accommodative squint. Next, the eyes are checked for the presence of amblyopia, which must be treated before any surgery for squint is performed. Squint surgery can be done on either one or both the eyes. It involves weakening or strengthening of the relevant muscles to restore balance and coordination.

Oculoplastics, or oculoplastic surgery, incorporates a wide assortment of surgical strategies that fix arrangement with the orbit (eye attachment), eyelids, tear channels, and the face. It, likewise, manages the remaking of the eye and related structures.

Oculoplastic surgery is carried out by an oculoplastic surgeon. He should be an expert ophthalmologist who has embraced further expertise in plastic surgery. Your oculoplastic surgeon's essential focus is the well being and security of your eyes.

There are several procedures or types of oculoplastic surgery. They are enlisted below.

1. Eyelid surgery
Blepharoplasty is the most well-known sort of eyelid surgery. It is done through entry points along the lines of your eyelids. The specialist makes the entry point and after that isolates the skin from the hidden tissue to evacuate the abundant fat, skin, and muscle. Sutures are then set in the upper eyelids to close the entry points. The lower covers may not require sutures, contingent on the method utilized. The methodology, for the most part, takes around two hours if both upper and lower eyelids are done together.

2. Tear duct surgery
This surgery is also called dacryocystorhinostomy. For carrying out a tear duct surgery or dacryocystorhinostomy, your surgeon will make a little entry point through the nose or through the skin within a corner of your eye and your nose. Another tear drain opening is made from the blocked sac specifically into the nose. A stent might be left in the new tear drain incidentally to keep the pipe open. At times, the obstacle stays blocked and a perpetual manufactured drain is set behind the edge of the eyelids.

3. Orbital surgery
There is a wide range of sorts of orbital surgeries, and the surgical methodology that will be picked for your situation relies upon the area, size, and degree of infection present. In a few cases, just a little skin entry point is required without the trouble of incisions. In others, vast entry points are required and unmistakable scars may come about. Your specialist will expel or repair harmed tissues as vital while painstakingly saving eye capacity and vision.

4. Botox
The procedure takes only a few minutes and no anesthesia is required. Botox is injected with a fine needle into specific muscles with only minor discomfort. It generally takes three to seven days to take full effect and it is best to avoid alcohol at least one week prior to treatment. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications should be stopped two weeks before treatment as well in order to reduce bruising.

There are many procedures of oculoplastic surgery. Your surgeon will choose the best one that goes with your situation. This kind of surgery is very successful.

Hi I am rajat I am 21 years old boy. I am eye night time not working and any item no seeing.
Hi. Hi. Night blindness is a condition that makes it difficult to see in low light. The human eye got a very sophisticated system which can function from very dark to very bright light. But in the case of night blindness, the eyes fails to adapt to darkness. Night blindness can be an early sign of vitamin A deficiency, often the result of a diet lacking in vegetables containing beta-carotene, which the body can make into vitamin A. A lack of zinc can reduce retinol dehydrogenase, an enzyme needed to help vitamin A work in the eye. Zinc helps night blindness in those who are zinc-deficient. Most people don’t get enough zinc in their diets. Vitamin A is found naturally in many foods: cod liver oil, liver, sweet potato, carrot, broccoli, butter, kale, spinach, pumpkin, Cheddar cheese, egg, apricot, papaya, mango, pea, milk, tomatoes, seaweed Get your eyes tested from an Opthalmologist. I'm a 16 year old male and I think that my eyes are shrinking. I don't know how to express it but what I mean to say is I feel that my eyes have gone deeper inside the socket. I can feel the edge of my eye socket of if touch the lower part of it. My skin near my eyes are also becoming lose. My vision doesn't have any problem yet, still I went for a checkup and Doc said results will be in tomorrow. Is there a natural cure or I need to seek professional help. Thank you.

This is a great question, and one that is commonly asked and sought out in consultation. That hollow area beneath your eye, near your nose, is called a nasojugal groove or a" tear trough. They can often extend laterally, toward your temples and the outside of your eye, as an orbitomalar groove. This can become more prominent with age, but often do exist in younger patients with a genetic predisposition. The underlying cause is often both soft tissue and bone related. Fortunately, there are good options for correction. In the past, implants in this area had been very popular, but the current trend in cosmetics is that implants are being replaced with fillers that have significantly longer durations and better outcomes. Fillers have the main benefits of very little risk when compared with the surgical procedure of an implant and the long-term complications that all too often force those implants to get removed. Fillers also cost a fraction as much. You may hear a debate from some surgeons about fat transfer versus fillers, but the reality is that fat transfer is unpredictable, even in the best hands. Hyaluronic acid fillers provide a very consistent volume and result. Newer fillers last significantly longer, with very high patient satisfaction when used in this area.

The solution for this problem is its reduced usage and while using computor/phone, use in proper light. There is nothing more effective than controlling usage to reduce and negate the effects. You can also reduce the intensity of the computor/mobile screen by attaching a filter or by getting an eye-friendly screen. Above all, one must try to reduce the amount of computor /mobile usage or take frequent breaks. Homoeopathic medicine CINELUBE EYE DROPS ( HAPDCO) Pour 2 drops 3 times daily.
