Having a constipation last 2 months. Have an excellent diet because of fitness still have this problem.

MBBS
General Physician, Fatehabad
Having a constipation last 2 months. Have an excellent diet because of fitness still have this problem.
Hi lybrate-user, Home remedies for constipation are very common for a good reason. Before you use home remedies for constipation, it is very important to find out what exactly is causing your constipation, as the needed treatment and cure may be completely different. Using the wrong remedy, even if it is a natural one, can cause more harm than good, so choosing the correct remedy your body needs is critical. 1. Water and Fibre The most common cause of constipation is lack of fibre in your diet. Fibre binds to water in the intestine, adds volume to the stool and the water softens the stool. Include high-fibre foods like potatoes, beans, carrots, prunes, brown rice, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, all kinds of nuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, broccoli, peas, and much more in your daily diet to ease the symptoms of constipation. It’s also very important to drink enough fluids. Drink about 8-10 glasses of water daily. Put water in a copper vessel overnight and drink it in the morning. This stimulates bowel movement and gives you good results in few days. You can also drink fresh vegetable and fruit juices throughout the day. Say no to alcoholic beverages and caffeine as they cause dehydration and deterioration of your symptoms. 2. Spinach - Spinach is really good for you if you are suffering from constipation. The various components of spinach cleanse, reconstruct and regenerate the whole intestinal tract. Include spinach in your diet. Have it raw or cooked, depending on how you like it. If you have severe trouble then drink a mixture of raw spinach juice and water, twice daily. You’ll get to see the positive effects within a few days. 3. Honey - Honey relieves constipation and acts as a mild laxative. It prevents and treats constipation symptoms. Consume two teaspoons of honey, thrice daily. You can also mix honey and lemon juice in a glass of warm water and drink it every morning on an empty stomach. 4. Lemon - Lemon juice treats constipation effectively. It stimulates the digestive system and gets things moving. Drink a solution of lemon juice and warm water on an empty stomach in the morning. Add a little bit of salt and honey to it. Follow this remedy daily to see the results within a few days. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Do not worry. It's normal. The size and shape does not matter much if rest of the things are normal. Please read about the normal physiology about human body and sexual health from the internet. You have to overcome lots of misinformation or myths propagated everywhere. Also invest time in healthy habits. Avoid all types of stimulants like alcohol or tobacco. Avoid junk and outside food. Have more of natural food (with daily 2 servings of fruits and vegetables ). Drink enough water (8-10 glasses ). Exercise everyday as that can give strength and stamina to you with good sleep as an added benefit. Relax your mind by doing Yoga (meditation and pranayam ).You can consult with us on Lybrate personally.

Dear Lybrate User, First of all let me make it clear that you may experience nightfalls/Nocturnal Emission of sperm for twice in a month if you do not have a habit of masturbation or if you do not indulge in any sexual intercourse. However, if you experience nightfalls for more than twice in a month then it is surely abnormal. Every person experience an erection after a sleep of 6-8 hours. Such an erection during waking up from sleep is a typical characteristic of normal sexual system. An uninterrupted sleep of 6-8 hours pacifies the nerves which get hyper-activated after a long day work & results in a sexual arousal by channelising the blood flow towards the male sexual system. But an erected penis cannot ejaculate involuntarily unless it is being rubbed as it undergoes during masturbation & sexual intercourse. Involuntary ejaculation of semen indicates that the internal muscles of your pelvic region are not strong enough to control the outflow of semen. Just after ejaculation of sperm a sudden decrease in the amount of TESTOSTERONE hormone occurs. This TESTOSTERONE hormone plays an important role in metabolism & muscle growth. Daily Masturbation leads to a chronic decrease in the TESTOSTERONE production as a result of which the metabolism process of body becomes slow. This internal slow metabolism is externally manifested as muscle loss, weakness, fatigue etc. However, nightfalls indicate that you are having a normal erection as well as it also proves that there is no deficit of sperm production in testis. Nightfall implies that there is only loss of control of the pelvic muscles. It is often observed that a person suffering from nightfalls complains of premature ejaculation during sexual intercourse if his problem of nightfalls is left untreated. The cause behind such quick discharge during sex is same as it is in case of nightfalls i.e. Loss of the control of the muscles of pelvic region. One of the common causes behind the loss of control of pelvic muscles is Digestive troubles. Slow digestion compels the blood to circulate around the organs of digestive system until the ingested food is fully broken down into soluble food molecules. Such circulation of blood around the digestive system for a prolonged period often results in sluggish circulation of blood around the other systems of human body. Sexual system is one of such system whose normal functioning gets disturbed due to impaired digestion. To get rid of nightfalls carry on the following medication as directed:- 1) 5 drops of Homoeopathic Dilution SELENIUM 30, thrice daily, in empty stomach. 2) Take 30 drops of Homoeopathic Mother Tincture SALIX NIGRA Q in a cup of water daily after lunch 3) Take 30 drops of Homeopathic Mother Tincture ACID PHOS Q in a cup of water daily after lunch Apart from medicines You could try a home therapy. Soak 5 grams of Fennel seeds (SNOUFF) & 5 grams of Rock Candy (MISRI) in a glass of water before going to bed daily. On waking up next morning drink the Snouf-Misri soaked water in empty stomach. Kindly note that this medication may not be sufficient enough to take care of your problem. These medicines are based on the symptoms of your diseased condition & these medicines need to be complemented by further deep-acting remedies in order to permanently eliminate the underlying cause of the disease. So I would suggest you to consult me privately via Lybrate as it is very necessary to diagnose the proper underlying cause of your problem if you are wishing for a permanent relief from your problems. A permanent annihilation of the underlying cause of the disease will not only provide you relief from your troubles but it will also cease any chance of further relapse of that particular disease condition. You have to sop alcohol. Only strong will power, determination, attending AA meetings and diverting mind when tempted will help you stop alcohol Alcohol causes 7 types of cancer, including breast, mouth and bowel cancers. When you drink alcohol, cancer-causing chemicals are formed. Alcohol also affects hormone levels and makes cells even more likely to be damaged by smoking. The less alcohol you drink, the lower the risk of cancer. No type of alcohol is better or worse than another, it is the alcohol itself that leads to the damage, regardless of whether it is in wine, beer or spirits. And drinking and smoking together are even worse for you. Not everyone who drinks alcohol will develop cancer. But on the whole, scientists have found that some cancers are more common in people who drink more alcohol than others. Every year, alcohol causes 4% of cancers. Tips to cut down on alcohol. There are lots of simple ways to cut down on the amount of alcohol you drink. It can help to work out if there are particular times or situations when you tend to have a drink, whether that’s a bad day at work or a weekly pub quiz tradition, and plan what you’ll say and do differently next time. Have more alcohol-free days a week. For liver health it’s best to have at least 2 days off alcohol in a row each week. Try agreeing on certain days with your partner or a friend and help each other and stick to it. If you are planning to drink alcohol, decide on a limit in advance and make sure you don’t go over it. Swap every other alcoholic drink for a soft one – starting with your first drink. Try shandy instead of a pint of beer, or swap some wine for soda and have a spritzer. Don’t stock up on beer, wine or spirits at home. Finish one drink before pouring another, because topping up drinks makes it harder to keep track of how much you’ve had and when you planned to stop. Avoid buying drinks in rounds, that way you don’t have to keep pace with anyone. Tell a friend or partner that you’re cutting down on alcohol, they can support you – or even join you.

Healthy Habits That Keep Your Immune System Strong

Healthy Habits That Keep Your Immune System Strong

Over time, we have caused tremendous harm to our immune system. Day in and day out, we have potentially risked our lives by being so casual with our health choices. But still, is it possible to leverage some of this burden and thus make our immune system stronger? what if we incorporate some healthy habits into our daily regime? what if we improvise on our diet? take certain additional vitamin supplements perhaps? make other lifestyle changes in the hope of achieving a near-perfect immune system?

What exactly is the immune system?

The immune system in layman language can be considered as a protective cover of the human health system. We are surrounded by millions of pathogens (disease causing germs) that have the ability to enter into the body and cause damage to it. Here comes in the importance of the immune system, the body’s natural shield against these pathogens.

How can you boost your immunity?

You definitely cannot evade all the pathogens and get a top-notch, impeccable immune system, but you can at least try and listen to what your body has to say, and take steps accordingly.

The first and foremost protective measure can be to follow certain general good-health guidelines.

Do not smoke. There can be no compromise on this issue. Smoking or consuming tobacco in any form brings about a host of health complications; the most pronounced of them all is probably cancer. Smoking, in more ways than one, can spell real trouble for your immune system. So better cut down on your puffs or gear up to face the various medical banes of smoking.

Eat a diet which is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and low in saturated fat. Some examples may include citrus fruits, green leafy vegetables such as spinach or lettuce, yoghurt, almonds, lean meat. Sipping on green tea thrice a day is a wise choice in this regard. These measures not only strengthen the immune system but also enhance the immune system.

Drink plenty of water. Water keeps the body hydrated, the ultimate prerequisite for a strong immune system. It helps to flush out all the toxins and ensures that the cells get the optimum levels of oxygen. Drinking a glass of lukewarm water mixed with honey and lemon on an empty stomach after getting up in the morning can prove to be one of the best health choices that you can make for your body.

If you drink alcohol, drink only in moderation. Excessive alcohol consumption causes dehydration and it can deprive your body of the valuable immunity boosting nutrients. It also impairs the body’s ability to fight off germs and infections.

Get adequate sleep. One reason behind stressing on the need to get adequate sleep is because it’s so closely linked to the immune system. While you sleep, the body secretes certain hormones and substances which help better fight infections and diseases. This makes these hormones so vital and indispensable at the same time. So now you know what wonders can those 8 hours of sleep do to you.

Exercise regularly. If you're looking for a safe and smart way to boost your immunity, regular exercise is the answer to it. But we are not talking about being an ardent, hard-core gym-junkie; rather exercising in moderate amounts would suffice. Cardiovascular exercises such as walking or swimming, performed 30-45 minutes a day, can prove to be very beneficial.
