Hi, pls check your thyroid. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Eat soaked dry grapes or dates soaked in warm milk overnight. Do some basic workout every day. No drink before and with meals. Include protein rich food in your diet like soyabean ,sattu with milk ,sprouts, pulses, eģgs, milk and milk products. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take small meals in frequent intervals. do regular exercise, daily massage your body with Tila ( sesame) oil, take proper diet,milk,cows ghee in regularly,fresh fruits,dry fruits,green vegetables,protein rich food, proper sleep, avoid late night work,overexertion,excessive tea,coffee,cold drinks,chilled water,foods kept in fridge,fast food,bakery foods.

Hi lybrate-user go only with the foods which are said to increase nutrient intake for the body and provide with sufficient energy, some of these foods have been listed below for simplicity: salmon tuna paneer soya beans soya paneer-tofu eggs shrimps granola bars cheese paneer yoghurt walnuts dates apricots anjeer raisins nuts and oil seeds peanut butter chicken breast gaining weight is not an excuse to get fat and schedule daily visits to all-you-can buffets. I suggest you begin implementing one principle each week and watch your body stack on more muscle to your frame each week. Medicines only yield short term results.

Proteins are the building blocks of life and every living cell uses them for both structural and functional purposes.They are long chains of amino acids linked together like beads on a string, then folded into complex shapes.There are 9 essential amino acids that we must get from the diet and 12 that are non-essential, which the body can produce out of other organic molecules.The quality of a protein source depends on its amino acid profile. The best sources of protein in the diet contain all the essential amino acids in ratios that are appropriate for humans.In this regard, animal proteins are better than plant proteins, which makes perfect sense given that the muscle tissues of animals are very similar to our own tissues.We recommend Daily intake of 56 grams per day for men and 46 grams per day for women, varying between individuals based on age, body weight, activity levels and some other factors.Protein powder should definitely be from an organic (and grass-fed if dairy based) source. Collagen Hydrolysate is a mostly tasteless non-gelling form of gelatin that can be easily blended into hot or cold beverages. It is typically more easily digestible which is important for people who have autoimmune disease or gut issues. Dear to gain weight diet is the primary factor and it's important to be in positive energy balance so to gain weight. Taking only 3 meals per day will not be enough to gain weight, eat meal at frequent intervals. Include high calorie foods in between your main meals such as dark chocolates, cakes, nuts, cheese and yoghurt so to be in positive energy balance and gain weight the healthy way.

It's been 3 months I have joined gym. Previously I weighed around 74 kgs and now my weight is 72 kgs. I am on a rich protein diet these days. I am wondering is it a bad sign or it's just a normal thing? Apart from this what diet would you suggest to gain a proper muscles with a lean body?

Protein rich diet is definitely good for body. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.
