Hi Anand You need to improve power of your liver to improve your anabolism so that you can gain muscle. Taking 1 cytofresh tablet daily will help you. Eat protein rich diet to gain weight.

Dear Concern My mother is going through a severe mental stress. Anxiety,fear is there. She is screaming, she is always thinking that somebody will kill her children and family members. She is not sleeping at night.Always telling us that some body is planning to kill her or her family members,she can heard all this things We are consulting an neuro psychiatrist for that.He has given some medicin.For last two weeks. But no improvement Kindly help me what to do, how to deal with this kind of paitients.

Obviously your mother has delusions of persecution/ and hence reacting to it and could be hallucination. She needs rest/ antipsychotic medication/ sometimes antidepressants if there is Psychotic depression. You may review condition and find out the correct diagnosis and treatment.

It can be because of sedentary life style and unhealthy food habbits. Have small meals six times a day rather having 3 major meals. Cut down sweets and maida products in our diet. Go for 45 minute brisk walk daily.

Hi this is kumar, sometimes I am getting headache in backside. It will not come regularly only I went to outside in the afternoon and if I don't put oil from last 4 days (this is I observed). You seem to be having a mental worry, and you are trying to explore a solution in your mind all the time. Oil has nothing to do with headache. But massaging head by somebody who loves you can relieve the headache. If headache persists, please consult

Hye. Thanks for the query. It's normal for the stomach to bulge out if you eat more than needed or if you are suffering from gas/ bloating. The stomach is an elastic pouch like organ and can accommodate much more food than needed actually. So, till the food does not pass into the intestine the stomach won't come back to its previous shape. This has got nothing to do with fats. Fats can't reduce or increase in an instant.

Dear lybrate user. Welcome to lybrate. I can understand. Loosing someone near and dear is called grief and depression related to grief is pretty normal. But this sort of depression does not stay for long. This depression gets cleared within a span of some weeks. The best option for you is to undergo counseling and depression related therapy. Anyhow, there is nothing to worry. Most of the psychological problems can be cured with scientific therapy methods. Take care.

Hello, I'm a mother of 5 year old. Feeling very depressed now days, lots of mood swings. Loosing interest in everything.
If you feel depressed, it's best to do something about it — depression doesn't just go away on its own. In addition to getting help from a doctor or therapist, here are 5 things you can do to feel better. 1.Exercise. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day — or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. In addition to getting aerobic exercise, some yoga poses can help relieve feelings of depression. Two other aspects of yoga — breathing exercises and meditation — can also help people with depression feel better. 2.Nurture yourself with good nutrition. Depression can affect appetite. One person may not feel like eating at all, but another might overeat. Proper nutrition can influence a person's mood and energy. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get regular meals (even if you don't feel hungry, try to eat something light, like a piece of fruit, to keep you going). 3.Identify troubles, but don't dwell on them. Try to identify any situations that have contributed to your depression. When you know what's got you feeling blue and why, talk about it with a caring friend. Talking is a way to release the feelings and to receive some understanding. 4. Express yourself. With depression, a person's creativity and sense of fun may seem blocked. Exercise your imagination (painting, drawing, doodling, sewing, writing, dancing, composing music, etc.) and you not only get those creative juices flowing, you also loosen up some positive emotions. Take time to play with a friend or a pet, or do something fun for yourself. Find something to laugh about — a funny movie, perhaps. Laughter helps lighten your mood. 5. Try to notice good things. Depression affects a person's thoughts, making everything seem dismal, negative, and hopeless. If depression has you noticing only the negative, make an effort to notice the good things in life. Try to notice one thing, then try to think of one more. Consider your strengths, gifts, or blessings. Most of all, don't forget to be patient with yourself. Depression takes time to heal. Sleep hygiene tips:

  1. Getting good sleep is important in maintaining health. There are several things that you can do to promote good sleep.
  2. Sleep hygiene help promote good sleep using behavioral interventions.

Sleep hygiene tips:

  1. Maintain a regular sleep routine
  2. Go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week.
  3. Avoid naps if possible.
  4. Naps decrease the ‘sleep debt’ that is so necessary for easy sleep onset. Each of us needs a certain amount of sleep per 24-hour period. We need that amount, and we don’t need more than that. When we take naps, it decreases the amount of sleep that we need the next night – which may cause sleep fragmentation and difficulty initiating sleep, and may lead to insomnia.
  5. Don’t stay in bed awake for more than 5-10 minutes.

If you find your mind racing, or worrying about not being able to sleep during the middle of the night, get out of bed, and sit in a chair in the dark. Do your mind racing in the chair until you are sleepy, then return to bed. No tv or internet during these periods! that will just stimulate you more than desired. If this happens several times during the night, that is ok. Just maintain your regular wake time, and try to avoid naps.

  1. Don’t watch tv or read in bed.
  2. When you watch tv or read in bed, you associate the bed with wakefulness.
  3. Drink caffeinated drinks with caution
  4. The effects of caffeine may last for several hours after ingestion. Caffeine can fragment sleep, and cause difficulty initiating sleep. If you drink caffeine, use it only before noon. Remember that soda and tea contain caffeine as well.
  5. Avoid inappropriate substances that interfere with sleep
  6. Cigarettes, alcohol, and over-the-counter medications may cause fragmented sleep.
  7. Exercise regularly
  8. Exercise before 2 pm every day. Exercise promotes continuous sleep. Avoid rigorous exercise before bedtime. Rigorous exercise circulates endorphins into the body which may cause difficulty initiating sleep.
  9. Have a quiet, comfortable bedroom

Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background ‘white noise’ like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress.

  1. If you are a ‘clock watcher’ at night, hide the clock.
  2. Have a comfortable pre-bedtime routine
  3. A warm bath, shower, meditation.

Some who are struggling with sleep regularly find it helpful to print out these recommendations and read them reularly. If you accidentally miss some of recommendations, or have a bad night, do not fret. By following these sleep hygiene recommendations, you will help yourself to get into a routine that promotes good sleep opportunities.

•Mix required amounts of gram flour, lemon juice and curd or yogurt. Apply this paste on tan affected area of forehead and face. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash it with water. This is an exclusive face pack prepared at home to remove tan from your skin in a very easy and effective way. A mixture of egg white, milk cream and honey works excellent against skin tanning. Mix tomato juice with honey or yogurt and apply it daily on skin to remove tanning.

You may have pcod problem as you are gaining weight though your dieting. You can undergo investigation firdt like usg (sonography) of pelvis or ovary to detect this. And also go for thyroid test. And then revert back to me with the test results.

Hi, my work involves marketing where in I move out of the house in the morning and come back by 9-10 at night. I have a big problem with my stomach where in I do not feel I get properly fresh in the morning. I take tea but does not help much. I take dinner around 10 when back home. When you don't take proper meal at proper timings these problems are common. You should include more fibers to your diet in the form of fruits or fiber biscuits. And having food or anything to eat in every two hours will help you. That means you don't have time increase your diet you just have to split it over the day.

Go for brisk walk 45 minute daily. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.
