My direct bilirubin is 0.18 and indirect bilirubin is 0.30 is this normal? ESR is 28 and RDW is 12.7. Having fever since last 4 days which fluctuates between 99 to 102 prescribed augmentin 625 and CNF active for 3 days. I am worried about the reason for fever, done widal test and dengue test which is negative. Please help.

Your reports are within normal limit. It could be due to viral fever. Continue medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Take adequate rest, consult doctor for further advice.

Mobile radiations have hazardous effects on our body like 1. cancer of Brain 2. other health effects like brain activity and sleeping pattern 3.electromagnetic interference 4..traffic accidents. Precautions 1.Limit the length of your calls on your cell phone 2.Use a hands-free device or wireless headset to increase the distance between the phone and your head 3.Stay still when using a cell phone because If you keep moving around with it, more radiation is emitted because the phone needs to keep track of you. 4. Turn the cell phone off when not in use 5.Consider either not giving cell phones to children or limiting their usage to emergency circumstances. 6.Look for products designed to shield you as a cell phone user like A cell phone EMF protective device. These are small chips or button that are adhered to the phone reducing the impact of the transmitter signals. A screen type shield. This is a screen placed over the phone's earpiece. 7. Purchase a cell phone that rates as low as possible on the scale of radiation emissions.

Hye, thanks for the query. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

Hello you don't have to eat so much food or quantity to gain weight. The portion and quality or eating dense nutritious food is important you don't have to eat 5 dosa, 10 idli with ghee to gain weight instead drink a glass a milkshake with fruit dry-fruit and milk once a day. Include foods like eggs, yogurt, cheese etc.

Hello doctor, I am planning for a baby from past 7 months but not able to conceive I got married 1 and half year back, my periods were 42 days cycle then I consulted in sharjah be coz I stay here to a general doctor she made my periods regular for 32 days given me medicine m2tone for periods it was regular for 3 months I am still on those tablets and along with that after my periods 5th days she asked me to used clomid 50 mg 2 time a day this time I use ovulation kit to no my ovulation date I started that kit from 10 day of my period till 19th day but it was showing negative but every alternate I was having sex with my hubby, what may b the reason it was showing negative and this time again 5 days have come up example last month I got my periods on October 26th and my latest period was 24th november and till now I dint get my periods also, and one more this there was a muscle pull this full week so I was on complete rest this may b the reason I dint get my periods be coz there was no activity? Please suggest me I badly need a baby only for the treatment coming for India bangalore which is the best treatment homeopathy or?

Hello lybrate-user, As you have mentioned you had a ovulation kit with yourself and you checked it from tenth day of menses and it showed negative even when you had alternate day intercourse, that's because you did not have ovulation (reason for the test to come negative). You might be suffering from PCOS. A condition in which the follicle doesn't rupture.In simple words there is no ovulation. Without ovulation there cannot be a conception. Kindly get a ultrasound of abdomen on sixty days of your menses. Thus might be the reason for your long 42 day cycle which for reduced to 32 days due to M2tone which is an ayurvedic medicine. Kindly consult me with your reports and I will be able to give you proper guidance. Tk care.

I am 26 years old. I wanted to weight gain but I am not able to gain myself. I have lots family responses that's means my family depends on me. So that I always think and think always. Hi, Follow the following medication and guidelines----Start the treatment with single dose of Tuberculinum 1M. After 1 week of this take the below:- * First week- you should take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops, single dose, morning empty stomach. *second week- take Thuja 1M, drops, single dose, morning empty stomach. *third week- Again take Baryta carb 1M, 5 drops, single dose, morning empty stomach. *fourth week- take Thuja 1M, 5 drops, single dose, morning empty stomach. *Take Rite -hite tablets from SBL, 2-2 tabs, two times daily. *Bio combination no. 21, 4 -4 tabs daily, two times. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 2. Drink it every night before going to bed at least for 45 days to increase your height. * plenty of fluids, frequent smaller meals, yoga and exercise regime and adequate sleep is also important. Take a healthy and balanced diet. *Do yoga (especially TADASAN) and stretching exercises regularly. *Revert after 1 month.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. You can take 2 bowl of careals (moong/chana daal) on the place of curd or cheese. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 10-12 pieces of dry fruits or 3-4 pieces of dates (khajoor). * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. Exercise is very important so that muscles gain mass from the heathy diet. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Recently I had my periods lasted for 10 days and again with 7 days gap I had my periods which again lasted for 10 days. And from then daily a little brownish discharge is seen. Hello. U have heavy bleeding n it's affecting your health n studies also, 1st thing is that this happens in this age group. your menses nt set yet to normal cycle. U need proper treatment for 2-3 months, do some test like CBC, thyroid test n BSL. IF all reports r normal then don't worry your period wil be normal. For health ,do some exercise n good nutritious diet ,it also hepls for regularitiy of period.

Hi, your height can grow till 25 years of age. If you haven't yet reached the age, you may try the following remedies - 1. Take flax seed powder - 1 tablespoon after lunch and dinner with warm water. 2. Take lakshadi guggul - 2 tablets, twice a day. 3. Take ashwgandha churna - 1 tablespoon with milk at 6.30 pm.
