The outer covering of teeth enamel acts as a insulator when it's reduced by grinding teeth or due to cavity such things occur continue using the same tooth paste don't rinse for about five min after brush.

Most common reasons are gastritis and deficiency of vit. B. Try to improve your dietary habits and start antacid and multivitamin and consult to your near by maxillofacial surgeon.

4 year ago I have a RCT treatment. Very thing is fine but now pain start in that teeth when I chew any thing.
Hello lybrate-user may b your tooth is re-infected, there can b various causes for this thing to happen- 1. It can b due to poor oral hygiene, leading to any gum infections, causing rct to fail. 2. It can b due to poor cap placement, 3. If cap is not there, might b the permanent filling is fractured, leading to the microleakage through your gp points leading to infection. 4. May b your previous rct itself was not done properly, 5. May b adjacent teeth are infected, leading to the spread of infection in rctreated one too. So I would suggest you to visit a dentist for proper clinical check-up with xrays to find out the cause, and further deciding the proper treatment. May b your tooth will go for re-rct or extraction.

Hello, gap between teeth can be closed by: 1. Orthodontic (braces) treatment which is most safest and conservative treatment. Visit an orthodontist and get it checked. Time duration varies from case to case. It can take 1-2 years. 2. Veneers. 3. Crowns.

A healthy tooth brush is equal to a healthy mouth. Thoroughly rinsing your tooth brush daily after brushing will keep it germ-free and healthy and let it air-dry before using it again.

Oral Health And Nutrition

Almost everything you eat and drink has an impact on your oral health, especially your teeth. This impact is not just due to the food's nutritional value, but also because parts of the mouth come in direct contact with the food that is taken. For example, if the teeth come in contact with a compound that has a pH value lower than 5.5, the enamel of teeth can get softened.

The following is a list of the foods, which are good for your teeth:

  1. Dairy products: Milk and most other dairy products are rich in calcium and protein. The cells called osteoblasts absorb calcium and create the protein tissues, which are the building blocks of the skeleton. An added advantage of these foods is that they are low in sugar content, which is beneficial for the teeth.
  2. Water: Fluoridated water is extremely good for bone and dental health. Minerals like chlorine, calcium, phosphorus and fluorine can prevent damage caused by acidic foods.
  3. Dry fruits: Most nuts are protein rich. The processes of biting and chewing also stimulate the salivary glands and saliva helps to clean the mouth and maintain oral health.
  4. Meat: Meat is also high in protein content and so it helps to protect the teeth and replenish the dissolved enamel. Fish and eggs are similarly helpful.

Here is a list of things that you should consume in regulated quantities to maintain dental health:

  1. Citrus fruits: Fruits like lemons, oranges, grapes etc contain citric acid. Acidic foods erode the tooth enamel and so these kinds of fruits should be included in your daily diet in small portions.
  2. Carbonated drinks: Most soft drinks and beverages contain large quantities of sugar. The sugar can be used by the dental plaque (mass of bacteria growing on the inside on the mouth) to produce acids and over time, which gives rise to a thick yellow layer on the teeth, damaging them.
  3. Candied sugar: Foods that are sticky can remain stuck in between the teeth for a very long time and cause decay of the enamel and harm the gums. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a general physician.

Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. Well, the pain is due to the infection for which you have been given antibiotics by your doc. The pain will likely subside the sooner the infection/ inflammation gets better. Still, as you are unable to bear the pain, I suggest you to talk to your doc who can recommend a suitable anaesthetic gel that you can apply on and around the ulcer couple of times a day. Also, cleaning the mouth properly with an antimicrobial mouth wash/ gargle can help arrest the infection additionally. Try taking semisolid/ liquid foods for the time being and stay well hydrated. Avoid any kind of hard, spicy, oily, hot foods/ drinks so as to avert any kind of escalation in burning sensation/ pain. Hope this helps. You can connect for an integrative naturopathic traction that can help improve clinical outcomes fast should you feel the issue persists chronically or the ulcer takes longer to heal up. Do take care, and all the very best. Sincerely,
