Daily intake for you should be around 3000kcal and glycemic index we use for diabetic and ask them to take low gi food because these food do not metabolise to sugar as soon as it is taken but take few hours to metabolise.

Computer eye strain is known as computer vision syndrome follow the advice given below. 1. Take a break-use 20-20 rule, take a break for 20 second after working in computer for 20 minutes and look at some thing 20 feet away. 2. Blink frequently to prevent dryness of eyes 3. Use of computer glass- it optimises your eye sight when you are looking at digital screen and helps to decrease glare 4. Keep your monitor bright- this decreases flicker 5. Use proper lighting like incandescent light 6. Check position of monitor- monitor should be placed 4-5 inches below eye level and 20-28 inches from eyes 7. Adjust, screen resolution 8. Minimise glare- clean monitor regularly to remove dust and place an anti glare screen 9. Try massage or eye cupping- massaging the area around the eye will relax eye muscle. Rub your hands together to create friction and warmth, then gently cup your palm over the closed eye and rest them 10. Take multivitamin tablet containing vitamin a, c, e, b complex, zinc and antioxidant (one capsule of revital daily after breakfast) 11. Go for yearly eye examination.

Steel containers are definitely better option for food and drinks. Now a days steel bottles( Milton/ Cello etc.) are available which also keep water cool for certain period of time. you can buy then from shop or online.

Avoid stress. 2.You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3.Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4.Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5.Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6.Take light dinner. 7.Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. Have a glass of warm milk at bed time . 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner.Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Improve your diet and meal schedule 1. Take 2/3 glasses of warm water in the morning 2. Go for morning walk for 30 mts 3. Take meals regularly at fixed hrs 4. No fried/ no spicy/ no junk/ no fast food 5. Take less milk/ no salad 6. Take curd 7. Have good sound sleep for 6- 8 hrs 8. Eat simple bland diet 9. I'm Jamuna, 25 years old. Im a dentist. I got married to my cousin (paternal ) on August 29, 2014. Its going to be 2 years on coming 29th. I've already diagnosed with Pcos. I have been taking medicines for almost 3 years even before my wedding (metformin, normoz, fertisure ) & went for follicular study once. But there was no use till now . I weigh 92 KGS. I gained weight suddenly becoz of d accident (Head injury due to major trauma) (Intracranial hemorrhage ). I met during my final year. Before that I was normal weighing 70 KGS. Due to the weight gain I got irregular periods. After that I was diagnosed with pcos. I'm very much depressed. I can't concentrate on anything. People who got married after my wedding like my friends, relatives are blessed with children. My husband doesn't know that I have pcos. I feel like dying every moment I go out. I'm very embarrassed in meeting people. If anyone asks about child to me & my husband, we can't able to face them .Is there any good way for us . I'm not interested in IVF or any those technology.

Hello, symptoms that women may have around the time of menopause and tips for dealing with them. Hot flashes •Try to notice what triggers your hot flashes and avoid those things. Possible triggers to consider include spicy foods, alcohol, caffeine, stress, or being in a hot place. •Dress in layers and remove some when you feel a flash starting. •Use a fan in your home or workplace. •If you still have menstrual periods, ask your doctor if you might take low-dose oral contraceptives (birth control pills). These may help symptoms and prevent pregnancy. •Try taking slow, deep breaths when a flash starts. •If you’re overweight, losing weight might help with hot flashes, Vaginal dryness •A water-based, over-the-counter vaginal lubricant like K-Y Jelly or Astroglide can help make sex more comfortable. •An over-the-counter vaginal moisturizer like Replens can help keep needed moisture in your vagina if used every few days and can make sex more comfortable. Take 5-7 munakkas with milk at night time. Mix 1 spoon pranacharya virechan churna or triphala churna in warm water and take it before sleep. Take 1-1 tab arogyavardhini vati twice a day after lunch and dinner. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Fermented food. Spicy food. Take green vegetables. Fruits. Do pranayama early morning and yoga early morning. Eat on time.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be migraine headache kindly follow advises given below: you can take: 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis Consult physician for further management

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your chest pain is due to acidity - follow some dietary precautions, avoid spicy, fried & junk food, restrict tea, coffee intake to not more than 1-2 cups a day, do not skip meals, have meals on time, chew your food well, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, do not lye down after meals for at least an hour, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bed time avoid aerated. Drinks citrus fruits, chocolate, mint - have 8- 10 glasses of water per day - have syrup gelusil, 2 teaspoonful half hour after every meal three times a day - get your ECG done to rule out any other problem.
