The weight gain in the body is due to the more of the calories in your diet than you burn in the whole day. One should eat balanced diet comprising of Carbohydrates-50%, protein-40% and fat 10% in right ratio with a maximum of 1500-1800 calories per day. To keep satiety at meals increase your protein and lower your cabs content, these wills the amount of food in next meal and thus decrease calorie consumption. Good choices of protein to be opted are: •Egg white •Sprouts •Mushroom •Oats •Chicken and fish Drink plenty of water and do not include high density source of calorie rich snacks like nuts and seeds. Make sure to include workout schedule at least 5 times a week along with maintaining rest session and complete sleep for a healthy body and mind.

Follow these best tips to get relief from stomach pain - *take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening. * take 1 tea spoon of liv-52 syrup daily one time. * walk for atleast 15-20 minutes daily and avoid long duration continuous sitting. * avoid taking non veg at night & in day time after taking food, do not sleep in day.

Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy): 1. Tablet Meftal spas one tablet stat after food 2. Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Consult physician/me for further management

Asthma - What Triggers it?

Asthma is a condition marked by the swelling and narrowing of the airways thus, producing excess mucus. This triggers coughing, breathing difficulties and wheezing. Asthma can be a minor inconvenience for some, while for others, it can often result in a deadly asthma attack.

Causes
It isn’t definite as to what causes asthma in some and not in others, but a combination of genetic and environmental factors is a probable reason. Factors that trigger asthma is varied, and is subjective. Some common causes of asthma include:

  1. Airborne matters, such as cockroach waste particles, pet dander, mould spores, dust mites or pollen
  2. Respiratory Infections
  3. Physical activity
  4. Cold air
  5. Irritants (such as smoking) and air pollutants
  6. Some medications, such as naproxen, ibuprofen, beta blockers and aspirin
  7. Stress and strong emotions
  8. Preservatives and sulphites added to some beverages and food, such as wine, beer, processed potatoes, dried fruit and shrimp
  9. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (Stomach acids retreat into the throat)

Signs you should look for?
Symptoms of asthma vary a lot, and differ among people. You can have infrequent attacks at times or suffer from the symptoms perpetually. Asthma symptoms and signs include:

  1. Breathing difficulties
  2. Chest pain or tightness
  3. Trouble sleeping due to breathing problems, wheezing or coughing
  4. A wheezing or whistling sound at exhaling
  5. Wheezing or coughing attacks that are aggravated by respiratory virus, such as flu or cold

Complications associated with asthma include:

  1. Symptoms and signs that interfere with recreational activities or school work
  2. Sick days from work or school when asthma flares up
  3. Persistent contractions of the bronchial tube that can lead to problems in breathing
  4. Hospitalisation and visits to the emergency room during critical asthma attacks
  5. Long-term consumption of certain medications to fix severe asthma can cause side effects

Treatment

Long-term control and prevention are the main goals of asthma treatment. Treatment generally applies learning about the things that trigger your asthma, taking necessary steps to dodge them and checking your breathing to ascertain that your regular medications are effectively controlling your asthma. Inhaled corticosteroids, long-acting beta agonists, theophylline are some common long-term treatments to control asthma.
Medicines are prescribed based on your symptoms, age, triggers and what best keeps your asthma regulated. Also, you and your doctor need to work together to come up with a plan to counter your asthma. For example, if you think your symptoms are getting better, consult with your doctor to reduce your medication doses. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a pulmonologist and ask a free question.

Hello, You want to gain weight? Right!? Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points ( if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day.Protein shakes will help you to gain muscle mass, particularly if you're working out. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. This is where protein shakes and bars really come in handy. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos., both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 1month.

Dear, there are methods by which you can gain height. Do these exercises regularly and you get the goal of height gain: * first stand straight bare foot on floor, then raise your arms upwards then raise your heels of foot with breathing in, try to stand on heels for 10-12 seconds and slowlylower down your heels back on the floor and breath outthe air. Repeat this exercise 5-8 times in morning. *sit on the floor, stretch you legs together so that both foot touch each other. Now raise your arms upwards together with back straight, now move your hands towardstoes of feet and touch them. Your forehead touching your knees. Slowly revert back the arms and move back arms in normal position. Repeat this exercise 2-4 times daily. You can privately consult me for understanding more exercises. * firststand bare foot on flat surface, now move your heels upwards and raise your arms up. Start walk on the front part of feet with heels upwards. Walkatleast 8-10 steps. Repeat this exercise for 2-3 times in a day. 2. Take 300 ml of rich cream milk, 200 gm of cheese and 2-3 eggs regularly. It will definitely give boost to your bone growth. 3. Sit in sun rays for atleast 8-10 minutes in morning of evenings when the sun rays are not so strong. It will help you by getting adequate quantity of vitamin-d. 4. The growth and height iscontrolled by growth hormone whichis secreted by pituitary gland situated in the brain. So take meditation and have a stressfree lifestyle. Take 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Meditation makes your pituitatry gland healthy and working properly. 5. You can also adopt the surgical techniques which helps you gaining desired height.

may be it is due to hormonal imbalance but for confirm pregnancy do rine pregnancy test done.if,test will negative then wait for 5-6 days because some time emergency contraception pills cause delayed menses.

I shaved down there and I have received red bumps after awhile a white dot pimple like formed around a hair growing and now there are four white dots around little hairs and they hurt a lot and some red dots I don't know if they are infected or not.

I am taking quetiapin formulate 25mg at night for treating depression from 8 months. But finally I do not feel better should I continue or switch over to another medicine. Previously I had taken depsol plus I.e.imiprimine plus diozipam 25 mg for 20 years at night. Now insomnia and sleep disturbance persisting. Please suggest the right medicine

You have been taking a medication for 25 years. either it has a placibo effect or you would have developed dependance on depsol plus. One should take medicines for a specific illness only and not just for a symptom. You may not require any m,edication. Just use some natural methods to help you with your sleep.
