Mujhe masturbation karne ki aadat par gayi hai me kya karu eska bura asar mere life par pad raha hai please help
I advise you to meditate and avoid masturbation. Dedication, meditation, and medication are the ways to fight with it. Strictly avoiding that triggers which compel you to do masturbation like porn, friends and privacy etc. Doing regular yoga and aerobics will definitely help you. Healthy diet like fresh fruits dry fruits specially dates almonds anjeer etc avoiding fish egg n chieken strictly mutton can be taken. And last not least medicine. For this there are special medicine for this problem which reduces your urge to do masturbation with helping you to regain lost vigour and vitality plus boosting overall health. Homoeopathic treatment takes away the habit of masturbation and remove its bad effects.

Type-1 Diabetes - What Is It and What Causes It?

Type-1 Diabetes - What Is It and What Causes It?

What is Type-1 Diabetes?

Type-1 Diabetes, also known as Diabetes Mellitus type-1, is a condition which is characterised by the lack of sufficient amount of insulin in the body. This is a chronic condition and cannot be cured. The insufficient amount of insulin in the blood results in the spike in blood sugar levels, which in turn, can damage various organs in the body. However, with proper therapy and treatment, it can be controlled and the quality of life can be improved for the patient.

The tell-tale signs and symptoms of this type of diabetes are the frequent urges to urinate, increase in appetite, increased thirst and rapid weight loss. It is most commonly diagnosed in children or young adults and thus, it was previously known as juvenile diabetes.

Glucose and other types of sugars are essential for the body cells to absorb energy. The glucose that is present in the blood is taken up with the help of insulin and utilised for energy. The lack of this hormone renders the glucose useless as it is not being able to enter the body cells. This is precisely type-1 diabetes.

What Causes It?

The cause of type-1 diabetes is not known entirely. Although, there are certain theories that explain the cause –

  1. Genetics: The chances of getting type-1 diabetes are increased in children if either of their parents suffers through from this disease. More than 50 genes are involved in diabetes type-1.

  2. Environmental factors: Environmental factors are also thought to play a role in type-1 diabetes.

  3. Viral infection: A theory suggests that viral infections are responsible for type-1 diabetes. According to this theory, the virus activates the auto-immune system of the body which in turn attacks the pancreatic beta cells along with the cells that are infected by the virus. Viruses like Epstein-Barr virus, Mumps virus, rubella virus etc. are considered to be responsible for the same.

How Is It Treated?

Many people with type-1 diabetes live long, healthy lives. The key to good health is to keep your blood sugar levels within the range your doctor gives you. You’ll need to check them often and adjust insulin, food, and activities to make that happen.

All people with type-1 diabetes must use insulin injections to control their blood sugar. Several types of insulin are available. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an endocrinologist and ask a free question.

Hand tremors are one of the important sign of alcohol withdrawal. You should also look for other signs of withdrawal like, excessive sweating, increased heart rate, difficulty in getting sleep, restlessness, anxiety, nausea, poor appetite etc. If others signs are also present then you must consider stopping your drinking habit. Help of psychitrist may be required in quitting alcohol. If only hand tremors are there, consult a neurologist.

Dear lybrate-user, Do not worry, its a very common problem encountered by many during winters. You need to do as I say & you will start feeling better- 1) Practice Steam inhalation 1-2 times a day. 2) Wear socks & gloves as precautionary measures. 3) Avoid late night shifts & take adequate 8 hr sleep. 4)Luke Warm saline water (Halka garm namak-paani) gargles once daily. 5) Herbal tea in evening (with Tulsi leaves) 6) For acute nasal congestion (Naak poora band ho jaana) you need some nasal drops/sprays & antiallergic medicines. You need to take private consultation for this as medical stores won't provide them without priscription. Taking complete course would help you to get permanent releif from this problem.

If somebody is suffering from phimosis by birth, can it be a cause of small penis size. How can a person can make his foreskin flexible. Penis size can be increased or not?

If somebody is suffering from phimosis by birth, can it be a cause of small penis size. How can a person can make his...
Dear Lybrate user. Phimosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. Phimosis is a very common problem. In most of the cases you can clear the problem yourself. Phimosis could cause moderate to severe pain while having vaginal intercourse. Apply oil on your foreskin and on the glans. Move the foreskin forward and back slowly without hurting you much. Because the oil is lubricant, it will be easier than without oil. Do this forward and back movement 20 times several times in a day. Repeat the same every day for around one month. You will get the elasticity and you will be able to retract the foreskin completely. In case if there is no result from the above massage, you can always go for a minor surgical procedure called circumcision. Take care.
