Since you are having Anti tubercular medicine, this cough may not be due to tuberculosis. It may be because of chest infection. Take a course of antibiotic after consulting physician

Please understand that a silent infection in the body takes away the calories we take When infection is controlled the calories we taken in are saved and we put on weight The medicines for TB do not increase weight.

Do not think of extreme conditions. Every time you fall sick it does not mean that you have cancer. You could still be having some residual infection in the chest or some times cough takes little longer to settle down. Consult your doctor again and if required a chest x ray and a blood test can be done and a corse of antibiotics should be given.

How many acupuncture treatments does it take to relieve stress? Is this something that needs continual treatment? My 5-year-old daughter has asthma. What is the effect of using an asthma preventer long-term? I heard that using it for years might cause bone shrinkage. Is it true? Are there any vitamins or supplements to help vision? What is chronic sinusitis?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
There is no side effect of using asthma preventer. Acupressure needs continuous treatment Chronic sinusitis is a common condition in which the cavities around nasal passages (sinuses) become inflamed and swollen — for at least eight weeks, despite treatment attempts.

Hi. I understand your concerns. Asthma is chronic and a common problem causing symptoms. You will need to undergo pulmonary function test which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of asthma based on which treatment can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same. Hope your questions were answered. Thanks.
