It could be a shin splint. 1. Wear appropriate foot wear 2. Appropriate warm up before any exercise 3. Stretching and flexibility training 4. Strengthening exercises for your legs.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Although there can be many causes for heel pain like spurs, fascial inflammation, infection, trauma etc but normally plantar fascitis is the most common cause especially if there is no history of any injury or any s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness etc. This kind of pain is usually due to inflammation of your heel fascia. It is chronic pain which get aggravated especially when you walk more and is better with rest. Treatment modalities are aimed at relieving inflammation of the fascia, like ice packs, physical therapy, footwear modification and anti-inflammatory therapy. Some amount of breast pain or discomfort is normal in premenstrual phase. Nothing to worry. If it's bothering too much, consult your gynaecologist for a checkup and you may be required to put on medications for it.

Do back exercises need to b performed regularly? My age is 24 and I am getting pain in my lower back ani left inner thigh muscle if I do not do exercises given by doctor. Can I run to reduce my weight which is 82 kg. Or it will worsen my situation of lower back ache? I am dentist by profession so postural problems are also there. Please help.

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain.

Hi lybrate-user Pull-ups require you to call on some significant strength from your body in order to perform a successful rep. Not only do you need a strong back and biceps to get your face up to that bar, but you need to have a strong grip as well. Having a good grip necessitates having strong forearm, wrist, hand and finger muscles. If your fingers ache, you may want to work on your grip strength. It's a case of muscle weakness that is causing the pain. Go for grip strengthening exercises. Get an text, audio or video consultation. Regards.

Do apply ice fomentation & hot fomentation alternatively every 3 hrs for 5days for 15 minutes duration each time followed by mobilisation exercises from musculoskeletal or neuro physiotherapist or call me on private consultation via lybrat. Com best wishes
